Pyrrha: she's where?!

*Pyrrha asked getting angry that Glynda would allow ruby to go on another mission so soon, but more angry at ruby for saying yes*

Glynda: she's on another mission with team JWBY, and please calm yourself, she'll be fine. Oobleck knows she's in no condition to fight, she'll just be a guide after that she'll rest for the majority of the trip, taking her pills

Velvet:well, that's a silver lining at least right?

*Velvet said with a bit of a forced smile lookingat Pyrrha, her animalistic instincts were telling her to move away from her, since Pyrrha looked so angry that you could almost see the red aura that was surrounding her*

Pyrrha:give me the location, I'm going there to make sure ruby is ok. And don't give me that crap that it's not necessary, or that she'll be fine. Ruby is my teammate, I'm her leader, but more then that I'm her friend. I'm going to vacuo, with or without your permission

Glynda:...very well, I can give you the location of the abandoned city they'll be heading, and warn oobleck. But please wait till I tell you what I need to say

*Glynda said taking a sip of her tea, and signalling Pyrrha to take a sip to calm herself. Pyrrha gave a frustrated breath and she sat back down, grabbing the cup she drank the hot liquid all at once*

Glynda:what do you know about Ruby's chip?

Velvet:that atlas placed a chip on her that made her a husk for years, and now gives ruby illusions of people who harmed her, or she disappointed

*Velvet said with a sad smile, Pyrrha glanced at her confused*

Pyrrha:how do you know that?

Velvet:i asked?

*Velvet said honestly, benefits of being a bunny girl, velvet let's her rubby velvet's ears in exchange for her to open up, and she explain as such to the other two who looked like they've been slapped*

Velvet: I'm cute and fluffy not even ruby can resist It

Glynda:hm, maybe an emotional support animal will help ruby nicely, something smaller then Zwei. But that's for another discussion. Yes atlas military did that, when Jake died the chip fried her brain, but ruby lived on. The reason I encourage her to go on the mission, is so that I could speak with atlas doctors, to see if they could somehow surgically remove the chip, as if it was a tumor

*Glynda explained, Pyrrha would be hopeful for her friend, if it wasn't for the frown on Glynda's face*

Pyrrha:so, what happened? Is it too dangerous to remove?

Glynda:no, it's not, because it's dead. And even if it wasn't, it wouldn't have caused the things, ruby claims that it does.

*Glynda said, such a simple sentence, but it sucked the air of velvet and Pyrrha, Glynda continued*

Glynda:the chip stopped working the day it electrocuted ruby, now is nothing but a decoration piece inside Ruby's brain,

Pyrrha:so the voices are nothing more then....

*Pyrrha muttered, figuring out the end of this conversation before Glynda could say it. Glynda sighed with a nod*

Glynda:yes. Ruby has schizophrenia. And it's far more severe then I originally thought....

Back to vacuo

*max was awoken by his phone ringing, he sat up on his bed and answer it*

Max:hello?

Ruby:...mission is completed

*Max heard the voice of the little hypocrite say, it woke him up enough for a smug smile to grace gis lips*

Max: excellent work miss rose, unlike the others I knew you would have no problem erasing that family, like the others family you've made disappeared before. I am so proud of you

*Max heard her hang up and let out a small laugh, he went back to sleep with a happy sigh escaping his lips*

With ruby

*We see her walking around the town, she had a mix of a haunted look but also a numb look on her face, as walked without direction. She opened the door and a fat hairy man looked at her, ruby tossed way too much money to the man, but he gladly took it*

Ruby:one room. One night

Smith:sure, sure let me take you to the deluxe suite

*Smith said with a sleezy smile, ruby followed him and they made it to a rat infested, roach infested room. Ruby didn't react she walked inside and sat down on the bed, she heard the clicking of the door closing. Cockroaches started squirming around the room, some running on top of ruby, but she didn't so much as moved*

Rose:will you stop being pathetic?

*Ruby flinched and looked around the room, but she saw no one, she took a shuttering breath, ruby walked to the bathroom, and turned on the sink, it took a few seconds for the murky water to come out, but ruby still used it to splash some water on her face when she looked up she she could see the blood still dry in her cheek, she could still hear the baby whaling, she could smell the gunpowder of her gun. Ruby's whole body started to tremble as tears started to fall from her face freely*

Rose:oh stop crying, it's not the first time we do this...

*Ruby heard the voice again, she looked in the mirror and saw something trying to crawl out, she gave a small scream and punched it, breaking it and making her hand becoming bloody, but one punch wasn't enough. Ruby started punching the mirror again, and again no stopping till her blood was on the wall,screaming louder and louder after everything punch, she started laughing softly as she pulled on her hair a little*

Ruby:h... hehehehe, oh God I'm losing my mind....

*Ruby mumbled with a hiccup and a giggle, she took out her clothes with some difficulty having only one good hand now, she got inside and turned it on. The cold water hit her like a bullet, but she didn't move. She let the cold water cover her body, to force her heart to beat slower. Once done she got out and dry herself off
her make up still there so it's hide the reptilian side of her body completely, apart from her tail*

Rose:you did it for the greater good. What's one life in the face of thousands?

Ruby;ahhh, who the fuck are you?! Come out already you fucking coward!!

*Ruby screamed frustrated pointing her guns in front of her, at moving it at different directions the second she heard the smallest of movements. Ruby was completely losing it at this point*

Rose:sigh, raven is right in there. Nothing short of a disappointment

*Ruby heard the words echoing as rose finally made herself known, the stress of what she did, it was too much for her brain to handle, so it created a new voice to cope with it. Ruby looked at rose, taking a step back, she looked like her, but without the scars, without the reptilian parts, wearing a red cloak similar to there mother's white cloak, rose was the perfect version of her, the her she'll never be*

Rose:come on ruby, let's go to bed. You've earned it

*Rose said gently, ruby was trembling with how confused she was, she followed Rose's orders and laid down on the bed*

Rose:now rose, this is not your fault

Ruby:n..not my fault? Not my fault?! I killed a baby!!

*Ruby said crying, the crying turned into uncontrollable laughter, blood of the child still on her face as tears fall from her face as she laughs*

* ruby was holding her sides as her breathing became erratic, she was having a complete and total mental breakdown*

Ruby:a baby, a baby, a baby, baby, baby, baby, dead, dead ,dead, DEAD!!

*Ruby kept repeating the word as she went from hysterical laughter to crying again holding herself, not being able to handle the consequences of her actions, not this time. She started looking for a mini fridge*

Rose:with the medication your on, booze will harm you

Ruby;what make you think that's not what I want huh?!

*Ruby spat out tearing the room apart looking for any scent of booze, she doesn't even care if it's old and expired, she NEEDS it. Rose just sat on the bed with a disappointed look on her face*

Rose: did you forget that the capital is a dry city? You won't find alcohol, the closest is the city over

Ruby:will you shut up!?

*Ruby screamed throwing a book at her, it did nothing but fall to the floor, rose hummed and looked at ruby unimpressed*

Rose:look at me ruby, you need to calm down. So you killed it, we both know it would've grown up to be one a slave selling like his daddy, you did the world a service

*Rose said, but ruby didn't give an answer, she leaned against a wall and sunk down, rasing her legs to her chest and hugging herself. Rose was right next to her with a calm smile*

Rose:you did a good thing ruby, don't let anyone or yourself tell you otherwise, if you haven't done it, the major wouldn't stopped your funding, then you couldn't save as many people. This was a small sacrifice for a greater good

Ruby:small sacrifice

*Ruby whispered softly, she was quickly getting sucked in to the lie her mind creates so that ruby could cope, it was like smelling cactus juice, sickly sweet, hypnotic, addicting, so easy to fall into the ocean and drown without screaming, since it has embraced you as one of its own. Rose gave ruby her hand*

Rose:but your not strong enough to handle it so, next time just let me have control. You're hands will be clean, you won't have to do a damn thing. You'll be safe and secure if you just embrace it...

Ruby:control...

*Ruby whispered back, the sickly sweet smell was becoming stronger, the hypnotic stench was so thick you could see the Myst around ruby, the calm ocean was showing it's true colors, vicious, uncaring, all powerful. It would be so easy to give up, to let this rose take control, to become nothing more then a small almost insignificant voice, then the one in control. Ruby could feel her mental control slipping, and she slammed the back of the head to the brick wall, enough that she was bleeding a little*

Ruby:no!!!

*Ruby screamed slapping the hand away, she crawled away from the frowning person looking down at her hand, and then at ruby giving her the same glare*

Ruby:your not real, you're trying to trap me in some kind of illusion! I will not go back to being a husk of any kind!! Now go away, go back to living in that fucking chip and leave me alone!!

*Ruby screamed throwing a lamp at rose, destroying the lightbulb. The light of the moon being the only illumination left as rose was just gone. Ruby took a breath, she crawled back to bed and just hugged herself, scared of falling asleep, scared of losing control if even for a second*
