Ruby:help!!!

*Ruby screamed from the claws of a huge bird Grimm, all the while rattlesnake Jake was shooting the bird safely on the ground. Ruby screamed in pain feeling the bird's claws piercing pass her skin and meat touching and cracking ruby's shoulder bones*

Jake: stop screaming your distracting me!!

*Jake said shooting her mini gun at the bird, bullets would graze ruby's body as it hit the bird, ruby was used as bait to get the bird out of hissing. the Grimm bird died and started falling to the ground with ruby screaming terrified of the increasingly growing closer ground, just as she was about to crash....*

Present

*Ruby woke up in a jump as Pyrrha placed her hand on her shoulder shaking her awake*

Pyrrha:oh good your up we're almost there

Ruby;oh goody

*Ruby grumbled some unintelligible as she rubbed the shoulder that the bird attack so long ago. Ruby looked out the window of the airship seeing the green lushing forest of vale and finding it disgusting, already missing her sandy paradise*

Ruby:so this is vale...I hate it already

Pyrrha:oh? Why? They're many amazing things to do in vale maybe we can do a group thing with our new team, you know a good way to get to know each other oh maybe we can invite team....

Ruby:gods it's true what they say girls really do talk too much...

Pyrrha:yes girls....oh...

*All conversation stopped as ruby pretty much killed it with that quote much to her pleasure, so while Pyrrha was quiet ruby just kept watching the world pass her by until she saw the academy*

*The airship landed and Pyrrha stretch, she looked at ruby with a nervous smile*

Pyrrha:well they should be waiting for us at the entrance ready to go?

Ruby:oh yeah, I'm as exited as a dog going to the Vet

*Ruby said in her usual snarky tone as both girls got out and walked deeper inside the academy/castle. Ruby's tail started to rattle as people would stop and look at her*

Pyrrha:not much of a people person?

Ruby:not much of a city person, in vacuo they leave you alone and don't look at me as if I'm some sort of circus act

*Ruby said bitterly, she pulled up her bandana to hide the scales on her face. Ruby's heart started to pound faster and faster, a small dew of sweat falling from her face as she hugged herself feeling anxiety rising up feeling as the eyes of everyone as on her*

Ozpin:ah Miss rose welcome I hope you flight here was comfortable

*Ruby shook her head gaining back her senses and she nodded, taking down her bandana looking in front of her was ozpin and Glynda goodwitch*

Ruby:I just want today to be over, so where's miracle?

Ozpin: we'll get to him in due time

Ruby:h...

Pyrrha:her actually sir, miracle is a lady

*Ruby looked at Pyrrha who smiled at her, ruby looked back at ozpin who was already walking inside the halls of his school. Ruby and Pyrrha followed them*

Ozpin:so what do you think of vale?

Ruby:too cold, too crowded, too green, too many snake in the water you included

*Ozpin just chuckled, ruby frowned as he was looking down at her like a petulant child, ruby hated that damn look Jake would give her that look*

Glynda:yes, I can see how a dessert snake faunus like yourself could find the weather unlikable

Ruby: I'll manage, but I better have that heated bed I was promised

*Pyrrha waved goodbye to ruby as she left to her dorm room while the other 3 walked inside the elevator*

Ozpin: yes, yes all except that tv. Couldn't fit in the shared dorm room you'll be sharing

Ruby:wasn't really serious about that one anyway. Now can we stop with the pleasant talks and go to my new room? I'm tired, I'm still not fully healed and I just want to rest

*The door opened and they walked out,they were inside ozpin's office at the very top of the castle right inside the clock tower. Ozpin walked up and sat down in his chair looking outside the glass*

Ozpin:oh sadly that will have to wait after initiation

*Ruby stopped walking and looked at ozpin as if he grew a second head*

Ruby:.....I'm sorry, I'm sorry initiwhat? You expect me to do this initiation crap without miracle?

*Ruby said with an angry expression and her arm crossed, As she sat down with Glynda standing next to ozpin. Ruby looked at her*

Ruby:so what your just gonna stand there? Your not gonna sit?

Glynda: there's only 2 chairs on this office I'm fine standing miss rose

Ruby:so your fine standing for hours on end on high heels?

Glynda: I've long since stopped feeling anything in my feet

Ozpin:alright, we can discuss this in another time

Ruby:code talk to you'll be standing forever. Don't you feel like that's unfair? After all you do for him, he has never even consider that you would like to sit down every once in a while?

Glynda:.....

*Glynda looked at ozpin who was sipping his coffee not making eye contact, she crossed her arms and gave him a small glare*

Glynda:now that I think about it this is definitely something we'll discuss later, but believe me it will be VERY soon

Ozpin:can we please concentrate on the task at hand? Miss rose if you're to come here and work undercover you'll have to qualify just like anyone else

Ruby:so my achievements in vacuo mean nothing?

Ozpin:just like miss nikos achievements, I have no favorites everyone is treated equally in this school

Ruby:oh you actually think that equality is real how cute. But fine I'll play along since you are paying me, now in regards of miracle?

Ozpin:I'm afraid her parts still hasn't come so you'll have to make due with this

*Glynda walked to ruby with a box, she opened the box and revealed ruby's revolvers self and defense a pair of AGL Arms .45 Long Colts. Ruby grabbed her girls and looked at them*

Ruby:suppose self and defense can protect me well enough, what's this initiation anyhow ?

Ozpin:oh that's a surprise, for tomorrow morning. For today here

*Ozpin gave ruby her very own scroll, ruby looked at the thing in slight disgust but placed it in her trench coat pocket*

Ozpin:Glynda will guide you to your dorm rooms, in days where you won't be there like festivals, holidays, what have you you'll be staying with Glynda goodwitch to make sure you....stay in line

*Ruby spits on the ground only it landed on his table as she got up and walked to the elevator while she twirled defense*

Ruby:as you wish boss, but don't you dare forget my payment. The last person who did....well there's a reason why I needed my crimes forgiven by the leader of vacuo

*Glynda followed ruby, they walked to the elevator and it let them down leaving ozpin there with a small frown on his face*

Ozpin:the things I will do just to have a silver eye warrior on my side sigh

*Ozpin just kept looking at the sky turning orange as the sun was beginning to set he took a sip of his coffee and just stayed there thinking*

With ruby

*Her and Glynda walked in silence, ruby staying close to the older woman hearing the whispers about her some good, some bad and some just straight up ugly*

Glynda: you've got quite the reputation

Ruby:yup making yourself a public enemy to the white fang and atlas military will do that to a person

Glynda:yes I've read your report you've done a lot for a girl only 15 years

Ruby:you can thank Jake for that, bastard that he was at least i can say he trained me to use my silver eyes to be the best they can be. Sure it was to be useful for him but still 

Glynda:I'm so sorry you had to go through that

*Ruby scoffed and spits on the ground, she looked up glaring at Glynda who actually took a step back*

Ruby:your words means less then nothing to me, same goes for people like that asshole James or any high authority, if you were really sorry you would be doing something to stop the slavery going on in vacuo but you all turned a blind eye until I appeared and started killing your people, because hey you guys only get involved if it someone important while the rest are left to fend for ourself

Glynda:miss rose it's a lot more complicated then that

Ruby: slavery is wrong that's simple, your allowing it to happen that's simple, you turn a blind eye since they pay you that's simple tell me when does it get complicated?

*Ruby scoffed and walked ahead stopping any and all conversation with Glynda, they made it to ruby's dorm, Glynda Gave ruby her key*

Glynda:if you have any questions please come find me

*Ruby hummed as she took the keys and walked inside, seeing her new team passing the time, Ren was reading, Nora was playing video games, and Pyrrha was cleaning her weapons*

Pyrrha:ah ruby welcome to team's Amazon dorm room hope everything out ok with ozpin?
