10 minutes after last chapter

*Ruby let go of yang and took some calming albeit shaky breaths, yang kept looking at her with concern*

Ruby: I'm.... better. If that's...why you're....worried about

*Ruby said slowly so to not stutter, yang with a reluctant hand rubbed Ruby's back*

Yang:if you want to talk about it, I'm here for you

Ruby:....one of the... reasons I drink....one of...the many reasons I...I drink, is so that I...I c..can have deniability... S..so that I c..can live with....t...the decisions I've... I've made being...the ro...ro...rose! Of vacuo

*Ruby said taking a breath, yang instead of being, well yang. She kept quiet, she stayed patience, she did what people like Blake and Weiss been telling her to do, and just let ruby get close to her in her own pace*

Ruby:b..but today...moments before I...I peaked b.. behind the cur..curtain, a...and I didn't ha...have....anything to make the....memory fuzzy....fuzzy enough to...to ignore it. That's one of the...the rea...reasons I....i drink, I...it doesn't...doesn't make me forget... it makes the me....me... memories blurry

*Ruby said with a sigh, she rested her head on yang's shoulder. This is what yang wanted, to have her sister close, but not like this, not when she's feeling like this*

Yang:i...I don't know what to say ruby...

Ruby:I...I don't need.... don't need you to....say anything. I...I don't need, p...pretty words that ....that don't mean shit, I....I just need, some....some....comfort! Before...before....before I go to sleep

*Ruby said she knew better then to tell the truth on what she'll have to do tonight, she can see yang charging into the major's room and tearing him a new one, and that's not gonna work out for anyone involved. Yang taking her cue got up and started to walk out*

Ruby:tell....tell pretty boy to....to come see....see me, need.... To talk to him...about things

Yang: sure.

*Yang  said as she walked out of Ruby's room and sat down on the living room couch, blake looked at her with a raised eyebrow*

Blake:is everything ok? You've been in there for a while

Yang:things are...fine. Jaune, ruby wants to talk to you

*Yang said, jaune nodded and left too see what she wanted help with, Blake didn't stop looking at yang and she sighed*

Yang:I...I got to help her, I got to hug her, and...and she hugged me back after so long, I got to spend time with my little sister...

Blake:but?

*Blake asked, yang frowned and looked at her hands, the warmth she was feeling from touching ruby was slowly disappearing, she sighed*

Yang:I don't know, i can't say I didn't hype it up in my head, because I did. I can't say I didn't find enjoyment in her needing me because I did, but... Argh I can't even explain it!

*Yang said frustrated with herself, she's a simple woman, a woman who punches first and asks questions later. So she tried her best, she really did, but still felt so useless. Blake just patted her shoulder for support and both just watched the wall*

Yang:kinda sucks that this place doesn't have a TV, I could really use something to distract me

Blake:.... you see the black wall in front of us?

*Blake asked grabbing the controller and clicking it, the wall turned on, since it wasn't a wall but a huge TV the size of the wall*

Yang:my eyes are hurting

Blake:yeah, I don't think that's goes away

*Jaune walked out of Ruby's room and sat down, yang glanced at him with a raised eyebrow*

Yang:what did ruby want?

Jaune:huh? Oh, she just wanted me to read something to her, her eyes has been killing her and she was seeing double, and I see that look yang, she'll be fine after she sleeps a little.

*Jaune said cutting yang off, she huffed but nodded, believing the lie that jaune told her*

Before in Ruby's room

Jaune:hey ruby yang said you wanted to see me?

Ruby:yes, that's...that's close enough

*Ruby said with a small rattle of her tail, she may like jaune more then other man, but that's not saying a lot, she's still cautious around him. Jaune gave an awkward smile and just waited for ruby to speak*

Ruby:as...as you know, I can't read...

*Ruby struggled to say feeling the disgust of asking for help, rise up her throat. She took a breath and kept going*

Ruby:I need you to read this for me....and keep what your about to read to yourself

Jaune:sure, I promise. Uh, so should I go over there and get that file, or maybe throw it over her, but if you throw it, the papers will blow away, maybe you should just slide it, yeah. Just slide it

*Jaune said in his awkward sort of way, that somehow made ruby feel more comfortable, ruby placed the file to the floor and slides it to jaune, who grabbed it and started reading it*

Jaune: location xxxx xxxx xxxx, targets 7 people, room 104, probability of security high, recommended that you bring extra ammunition, when the clock strikes 2 in the morning you'll have a 20 minute window, where the video cámaras will play in a loop, if failed and gets caught, you will be on your own, and we will erase any proof that you worked for us

Ruby:yeah, sounds about right

*Ruby said with a sigh, she grabbed her watch and marked the time she'll have to leave, Jaune looked at her confused*

Jaune:what is this anyway?

Ruby:you think the boss gave us this room out of the kindness of his heart? I'm...doing him a favor I guess you could call it. To take out a rival business head

*Ruby said as she laid down to take a rest till the food comes, Jaune looked at ruby uncertain*

Jaune:and why is he asking you to do it?

Ruby:because I'm expendable, if I get caught I'm on my own. Look I have a headache from the blood smell, just let me sleep a while ok?

*Ruby said with her eyes closed, she heard the door opening and closing making her sigh in relief*

Nighttime

*Ruby was walking through the city alone, she made it to the location and looked at her clock*

Ruby:1:59....

*Ruby muttered quietly as she pulled her bandana over her nose to cover her face, she walked to the door and the second it reached 2:00 am she walked inside*

Receptionist:excuse me to you have to take that mask off

*Ruby looked at the receptionist lady, she had a stern look on her face and crossed her arms expectantly, ruby walked up to her, but the lady was having none of it *

Receptionist:that's close enough, come closer and I'm calling security!

*The lady said, ruby aimed her gun at her and signaled to raise her hands which she did*

Ruby:if I see you pushing an emergency button with your feet I'll kill you before the guards come, do you understand me?

Receptionist:yes, what do you want?

*Receptionist said taking a step away from the floor emergency button, ruby hopped over the counter and pointed the gun right on the lady's chin, the woman never having experience something like this, started getting scared, starged to hyperventilate a little, sniffling the works*

Ruby:the master key hand it over and you live

Receptionist:o..ok ok ok p.. please don't hurt me!

*Receptionist said giving ruby master key from her pocket, ruby grabbed it and pistol whipped the woman knocking her out cold. Ruby pressed the elevator button and slides the the master key card on it sending her to room 104. The door opened and ruby didn't wait for a second, the moment the door opened she shot the first person she saw, moving forward she kept shooting people, with cold unfeeling eyes*

*the only way ruby could do this is if she disassociates herself mentally from the situation. She was going on just instincts, ruby didn't stop until she ran out of bullets in one of the jackals. Ruby looked around and saw the person who has to be her main target looking at his dead security guard*

Ruby: don't do it, trust me it's not worth it

Maison:your out of bullets

*Maison said and jumped to get one of the guns, ruby sighed took the other jackal and shot him 2 in the knee caps stopping him from moving, and 2 in the arms stopping him from using them, he screamed bloody murder, but ruby ignored him and started reloading her guns*

Ruby: should've listened to me, I was gonna give you a clean painless death, but now? You have to sit there and listen how I kill the rest of your family while you bleed out to death

*ruby said emotionally as she walked passed the man who was begging for her to stop it*

Maison: please! Kill me but let them live! I'll give you whatever you want! Money, power, as many slaves as you can imagine just don't hurt them!!

*Ruby stopped and snapped her neck, she didn't even give him a response, she kicked opened the first door she saw and shot the person inside, ruby only knew it was a woman because of the scream, she did not look inside since she knew what seeing her victim will do to her mental state, ruby kept walking room after room, Maison hears shot after shoot of his family dying and him powerless to do anything, just lay there and slowly bleed to death*

Ruby:with you that makes 6 where's family member number.....

*That's when they both heard it, the sound that brought fear into both there hearts, they heard the sound of family member number 7, the sound of a baby crying*

Maison:please...please...he's just a baby, he is innocent...

*Maison said his voice nothing more then a whisper as he was slowly losing conscience, but ruby didn't hear him, she took a step back getting full control, her face showing so many emotions as the sound of the baby crying fill the room, ruby slowly walked to the door, praying to whatever god was out there, that this was just a sick joke, she slowly opened the door and her fear doubled as she saw the baby crib, and member number 7 crying inside of it. Ruby's eyes were blurring as she walked to the crib seeing the baby there crying, ruby flinched when she heard Jake's dark booming laugh filling the room*

Jake:go on petal.... Pull the trigger...

*Jake grabbed Ruby's wrist and raised it to an angle where the gun was right on the baby's head*

Jake:you got killer in your eyes petal? Cause I don't see it....
