Author note: this story made it number 1 in the ruby category. If your wondering why I'm so glad about that, because I find it ridiculous  that stories that didn't have ruby as the main character was number one, sadly in Wattpad, most of the rwby stories are male reader, self insert stories, harem stories,  that are just not for me, to put it nicely. For those who's this story is there first of my stories, I'll make it clear now, I don't like harems, I don't do harems, anyhow, glad this story made it to number one for that y'all are getting an extra chapter today, but now? Much Later

*Team JWBY+R were in a airship, Weiss was disgusted that she had to sit to close to animals, and almost screamed when a chicken got close to her*

Weiss:i hate this! Why couldn't we use a normal airship?

Oobleck:because this is the only place large enough to carry comfortably Ruby's pet, and give poor miss rose her privacy so she may rest

*Oobleck said reading up on the report for what pills to give ruby at what time, and to make sure she takes them*

Oobleck: further more, you'll all have an extra task to keep an eye out for miss rose, do not under any circumstances let her drink alcohol.

Blake:yes professor, we'll keep our eyes peeled

*Blake said completely serious, the team nodded and kept watching the antics of Weiss vs rooster*

Yang:relax Weiss, it's not that big of deal, look he likes you! Be careful that the Rooster Teeth don't get you

*Yang said with a smile as a rooster got closer to her, her team watch in amusement as Weiss tried to shoo the animal away only for it to peck her. While they were having fun, Zwei was resting in a cargo hold of the airship, with ruby resting there with him. Or at least that's what JWBY thought*

With ruby

Ruby:f...fuck...

*Ruby muttered holding her sides in pain, so much happened on her last mission that now that it all calmed down and the adrenaline left her body, the pain finally kicked in. Ruby was in the bathroom and had just finished puking up blood. Instead of resting like she should be, she was off on another mission, all because she couldn't swallow her pride, and talk about her feelings. And sadly for ruby she didn't have the energy for all of the silver magic it would take to heal herself fast enough.*

Raven+ruby:how pathetic, you can't even stand up

Ruby:yeah, yeah. Get some new material you fake bitch, I'm so not in the mood...

*Ruby said, her head was throbbing, whenever she tried to stand, her legs would tremble and she had to sit back down again, before she becomes so lightheaded that she passes out. She held her stomach and bite down her lip so hard that a little blood was coming down her chin. She had to fight for everything she had, not to groan loudly*

Blake:ruby? Are... Are you ok?

Raven:now look what you did, you're whining called her here.

*Fake raven said with a click of her tongue of disappointment, ruby growled at the both of them*

Blake:Rube...

Ruby:I'm fine, fuck off, and go back up

*Ruby spat out harshly, if it was her team she would be more willing to ask for help...
Ok if it was Pyrrha she would be more willing to receive help. But team JWBY? She would only get help from jaune, and even that was iffy*

Blake:....ruby I can smell the blood a mile away, either open the door, or I call yang. What's worse?

Ruby:....gods dammit

*Ruby muttered, she trembled in disgust as she heard his laugh. It didn't take long for Jake to appear with that smile that always made ruby tremble*

Jake:pfff hahahaha she got you there petal. Come on, open the door. I want to see belladonna, my god just thinking of her and that body makes me horny

*Ruby heard Jake whisper huskily at her ear, ruby gave a shuttering breath ignoring them, the best she could.*

Ruby:there not real, there not real, there dead. They can't hurt you...

*Ruby muttered under her breath, she reached for the handle but froze seeing raven disapproving stare, she took a breath and closed her eyes, the stare was still there. But it was more manageable. Blake heard the click and opened the door, she saw ruby on the ground and the blood on the toilet*

Blake: by the spider queen lolth, ruby you need medical attention

Ruby:I..I'm fine, j..just help me g...get to Zwei, I... I n...need to rest up m...my silver magic be...before it can heal me....we...well heal me physi...physically at least

Penny:aww listen how cute you sound stuttering. Like the frightened little girl you really are

*Ruby muttered the last part, but Blake heard it. She didn't ask question, she helped ruby up and started walking her to Zwei*

Blake: why aren't you home resting?

Ruby:you g...guys needed a tour gui...guide of vacuo. The mi...mission was more important

*Ruby said stuttered out completely lying, it was humiliating enough to need the help of someone who was practically a stranger. She didn't need her to know that Ruby's scared to talk about her feelings, that she's terrified of facing her demons since she doesn't believe she'll survive that. Blake nodded in understanding to the best of her abilities*

Blake:ok, we're almost there. Want me to get you something to eat?

Ruby:I...would appreciate that...t.. truly

*Ruby mages to get out through gritted teeth, trying her best to be kind to Blake, but it was a struggle, her upbringing clashing with her needs*

Ruby:bu..but keep w..what you kn...know to yourself, i...it's bad enough th...that you h..have to see me in...in this state

Blake: I get it, you have an image to maintain, lord knows I know a thing or two about that being the daughter of a leader

*Blake said with a soft chuckle putting ruby down gently with her back against zwei's fur*

Blake:I'll be back with the food wait here

Ruby:n..nah, I think I'm go..gonna wait for you over th..there

*Ruby said with a small grin, she raised her hand which trembled a little to a corner. Blake gave her a pity chuckle and walked away. Ruby sighed and rubbed the back of her head to zwei's fur. Zwei gave a small whine, like Blake he could smell all the blood*

Ruby:I'm fine boy, momma's just tired...wake me when the cat lady comes back

*Ruby muttered softly as her eyelids became heavier and heavier after every shallow breath she took. She felt her body tremble when he felt his hands in her*

Jake:you can ignore me all you want, doesn't change the truth, you miss it don't you?

*Jake whispered, ruby kept her eyes tightly shut trying to ignore it, but her body was reacting on her own making Jake cackle*

Jake:You missed what we used to do. Come on you little bitch admit it, at the end you enjoyed it more then me. Your body already telling the truth

*Jake said, ruby could feel his hand going lower in her body, she could sense the phantom touch of his hand on her crotch. A bit of turbulence started to happen, enough to make one of the boxes open up and fall on the floor, and make ruby jump, making the voices disappear, more importantly making him disappear. Ruby heard the unmistakable sound of glass breaking, that's when the smell came that made her shoot open her eyes*

Ruby: alcohol....

*Ruby said breathless, in front of her was a pool of wine with glass, the puddle was slowly making her way to Her, but there was also bottles that didn't break. Those had Ruby's attention*

Ruby;sweet sweet memory blocking alcohol....

*Ruby said with a trembling tone as she started breathing with her nose and tongue getting all the smell of her salvation to her lungs, as fast as possible. Her breathing was becoming erratic, as she tried and fail to get up. She ended up falling flat on the ground and started crawling to the substance*

Ruby:I need it, I need it...

*Ruby kept muttering to herself, she crawled passed the puddle still having at least a small shred of dignity of not drinking from the puddle, she kept crawling ignoring the pain of the glass shards that cut her skin. She stretched her hand, the beverage that would solve all of Ruby's problems was right there in front of her, just fingertips away*

Raven:look at you, how pathetic, taking the easy way out. Summer would be ashamed of you

*Ruby heard raven's words echoing making her headache all the worse. Ruby was trying, really she was, and was doing so good. But now that she's away with what are basically strangers, Ruby's voices were flourishing now more then ever.*

Penny:don't listen to her ruby, you have it hard, you deserve a drink, I mean look at you, free while other suffer. You have it the worse out of everyone

*Ruby could hear there voices, but they weren't closed they sounded more like echos far away but there voices bouncing off the walls making them sound so much louder. But someone pulled her away*

Ruby;no!! let me go! I need it, let me go or I'll kill you! I swear I'll kill you!!

*Ruby yelled thrashing around, ignoring the jolts of pain her body was sending her, whoever was pulling her back didn't waver, her grip just became stronger as in Ruby's mind she was being dragged away from the solution to all her problems*

With Blake moments before

*We see her with a tray with food, and some medicine that'll help ruby. She almost made it back undetected when someone blocked her path*

Yang:yo Blake! What you got there?

Blake:oh, uh...just some things for ruby, you know want her to be comfortable and all that

*Blake said calmly even if on the inside she was panicking, that yang will ask to give rit to ruby. And sadly for Blake, she knows her partner too well*

Yang:oh! Then let me help!

Blake:yang no. you know what's gonna happen.

*Blake said with a sigh, yang started giving her puppy eyes, with even the quivering lip, that made the useless lesbian inside of Blake act up, over how cute she was*

Yang: I'll be quick! I'll hand it to her and then come back up, I just want to see her. Please, I promise I won't yang it up

Blake:yang, your putting me in a unfair position here.

*Blake said with a bit of a frustrated sigh, before they could continue both sat down as turbulence started, once it stopped yang got up and grabbed Blake's tray*

Yang: I'm gonna make sure ruby ok, any problems? No? Fantastic

*Yang said and left quickly before Blake could interject. Blake sighed rubbing her temples already knowing this will end badly*

With yang

Yang:ok, ok you can do this. Just hand her the tray and that's it, your just here to make sure she's ok, don't push your luck yang

*Yang muttered softly to herself She made it to the lower deck of the cargo airship and looked around for ruby, she dropped the tray in shock seeing what ruby was doing. Yang quickly ran to her and grabbed her arms dragging her back, ruby started to violently thrash around in her arms*

Ruby;no!! let me go! I need it, let me go or I'll kill you! I swear I'll kill you!!

*Yang could hear the desperation in her voice, she could hear Ruby's voice cracking. It broke her heart having a first hand experience at what ruby has become. In what she unintentionally created when she was young and stupid. With a shaky breath holding her tears back, yang managed to get ruby to a corner and just hug her tightly so she wouldn't escape. That's all yang could do, ignore her little sister's screaming and wailing, and just hold her, till whatever was going on with her passes*
