Glynda:I agree, please leave and get some rest. Pyrrha and her team please stay a moment

*they nodded and stayed seated, Pyrrha eyes widen a little when neo kissed Ruby's cheek giving her a cheeky smile and winking at her*

*Neo left skipping, once the door closed did ruby cleaned her cheek from the pink smudge that was neo's lipstick*

Ozpin:I imagine things are going well?

Ruby:If you talking about my mission. Yeah, I should be part of there inner circle soon, they think I'm a fragile girl that they can manipulate

*Glynda and pyrrha shared the same look, but ruby ignored them both, she looked out the window and raised an eyebrow*

Ruby:well, that can't be good

*Everyone looked at where ruby was looking and there was atlas airship, multiple of them. Ozpin hummed having a calm expression on his face*

Ozpin:seems like James is trying to show strength. Well, let's wait for him to come. Miss rose please stay behind he will no doubt ask for you,

Ruby:fine, but if this some sort of plan for him to take me I'm gonna shot you before I'm captured

*Ruby said with a bit of venom behind her tone, she eyes squinted when ozpin didn't react, he just kept that knowing smile that bugged her so much. She glanced at her team*

Ruby:yeah, it's best if you 3 leave, he knows I was there but you 3 still have deniability

Pyrrha: we're a team, we're not leaving

*Pyrrha took an annoyed breath through her nose hearing the elevator button being pushed by Ren, the man could hold a grudge, Pyrrha gave Nora a look and with a nervous chuckle Nora started walking to drag Ren back to them*

Ruby:then your stupid for staying angel, if you stay it could ruin your whole career. Since they'll know you were involved, how do you think that's gonna look when your out of this place?

Pyrrha:I'm a famous champion knowned for speaking out against slavery, and buying them freedom. Do you honestly think i give a fuck about my reputation?

*Pyrrha asked with a raised eyebrow, in the background a black eyed Ren was sitting back down while Nora was cracking her knuckles sitting next to him. Ruby wanted to argue but just grumpled something and crossed her arms looking at the other direction with a pout. Pyrrha saw this as a victory and smiled*

Ozpin:well, now that that's settled, let's just wait for him. Knowing James he'll be coming with a small group of atlas soldiers. So don't be afraid

*They all waited for James to come into the room, ruby had her arm crossed, she leaned back on her chair and dipped her hat to hide her eyes. While she was ruby rose right now, she knew how to act like the rose of vacuo when she really needed it to. The door opened and in walked in James, winter, and a small group of atlas soldiers. The atlas soldiers all aimed there guns at ruby who was twirling her pistol around*

Ozpin:James, what an unexpected visit. And by unexpected I mean totally expected

James:this isn't a social call ozpin. I'm here to make an arrest

*James said serious, he walked to ruby without waiting, ruby glanced around the room. She had two options, trust ozpin and let James arrest her or. Who are we kidding you can see the punch line a mile away. Ruby pushed herself back to the floor, the second the wood made contact to the ground ruby turned into a explosion of rose petals and dashed to winter, ruby reappeared with her gun under winter's chin before winter could take her blade out. Ruby heard the clicking Of the guns all around her, and the slurping of ozpin's behind it*

Glynda:enough of this! James you are not in atlas, you don't have jurisdiction here tell them to stand down

James:you right, I don't. That's why I'm gonna drag that outlaw to atlas where she'll be subjected to the fullest extend of the law

*James said with his hand on his gun, he squinted his eyes waiting for the second that ruby trigger finger, so much as flinches*

Ozpin:oh? And what makes you think I'll allow that? Miss rose is a student here, and is under my protection

James: normally you would be right, that's why I'm calling a favor from you, you still owe me for that little.... Incident that me and the atlas military covered from the civilian eyes

*James said snapping his fingers, the atlas soldiers took a step forward, Ruby's tail started to rattle, everyone in the room knew she didn't have the energy to take them all or to escape. That sealed it for ruby was when she saw winter smug smile growing on her face. Pyrrha went to grab her weapon but ozpin raised his hand to keep her in place*

Ozpin:your right, I do owe you. That's why I won't arrest you for having a auction under my nose when slavery auctions are very much illegal in my nation. If word got out, I dare say it could start and international war incident wouldn't you?

James:are you willing to do that? To risk war with another kingdom over 1 student?

*James said coldly glaring at who he considered a closer friend. Ozpin placed his cup down and smiled at James*

Ozpin:without question, I repeat, as long as miss rose Is a student of this academy she's under my protection. Further more, what she did last night was complete the mission I assigned her. It's not my problem that YOU decided to break a law, you very well knew was in affect James. Now let me do you a favor before you speak, anything you say would be an admission that yes you indeed broke the law, now what do you have to say for yourself?

James:....men stand down

*James said looking as if he was about to pop a blood vessel, the atlas soldiers looked at each other and just lowered there guns. Ruby gave a low hiss and lowered her gun from winter*

Ruby:you got lucky, next time you won't have him to protect you

*Ruby spat out at the woman who broke her front tooth, winter didn't respond just walked ahead of her to be next to James, ruby sat back down with pyrrha holding her hand, part of ruby wanted to pull away go not show any weakness, but she just didn't have the energy for it*

Ozpin:so, I take it there's nothing else to discuss?

James:your making a big mistake here ozpin

Ozpin;oh come off it, we both know your just mad because Jacques told you to be. Now why don't you run along back to your master and say woof?

*Ozpin said with a smile going back to his coffee, James was angry, but what concerned Glynda was how calm he looked, he had that same look when she told him, she was pregnant with there baby. James turned around and walked away, once the elevator door were closed ozpin looked at team Amazon and smiled*

Ozpin:well that was fun. Now all of you get some rest. Glynda will see you out, she'll be leaving for home anyways

Glynda:quite right, me and ruby have much to discuss

*The second ruby heard that she groaned softly, Nora and pyrrha giggled as they all got up and walked away*

On the first floor

*Pyrrha gave Ruby a goodbye hug and left to catch up to the rest of the team, ruby didn't move, she kept looking at Pyrrha till she was out of sight with a smile, it was a tired smile, but a smile nonetheless.*

Glynda:alright, let's go home we have much to discuss

Ruby;oh come on, I'm tired. Can't I just rest for today?

*Ruby complained following Glynda, sadly for ruby Glynda was having none of it*

Glynda:a deals a deal miss rose, or aren't you a woman of your word?

Ruby:....that was a low blow

*Ruby grumbled hating the fact that there was no escape from this one, ruby rose will finally have to talk about her feelings to an actual therapist aka Glynda*

Glynda:of course....there's a second option, you see there a team that's gonna go on a expedition with oobleck to an abandoned city in vacuo, they could use some assistance

Ruby:I'm listening

Glynda:that team being team JWBY

Ruby:....oh you bitch

*Ruby said with a glare, the very idea to be stuck with yang for at least a couple a weeks was enough to send a shiver up her spin. Glynda just hummed and shrugged her shoulders*

Glynda;it's really up to you miss rose, either you talk about your feelings with me, or go on a mission with team JWBY while still being injured. What's it gonna be?

Ruby:.....

Scene change

Yang"this is the best day!"

*Yang thought excitedly as she kept glancing at ruby who had bored eyes listening to to oobleck about there instructions*

Oobleck:now miss rose!

Ruby:yeah?

*Ruby asked ignoring yang who was right next to her with a big smile*

Raven"at least your not talking about your feelings, still better. Maybe your not such a disappointment "

Ruby"still better, still so much better"

Oobleck: we'll be going on a abandoned city, the place will be filled with grim and will be quite dangerous, we'll need your pet Zwei for help!

Ruby:.....we need him?, or you just want to study him?

Oobleck:why not both?!

Ruby:fine, been a while since I've seen him

*Ruby walked to the entrance of the forest, raised her gun to the air and shot it. Oobleck looked confused, but then excited when Zwei was coming running*

Oobleck: fascinating! To have such great hearing at such a distance, simply fascinating!

Ruby:stop.

*Ruby said firmly as zwei stopped right in front of her, causing a small gust of wind around her, ruby looked up and scratched zwei's chin*

Ruby:hey boy, momma is gonna take a nap on top of you, follow the professor ok?

Zwei:roar

*Zwei responded, ruby climbed on top of him and laid down, using her hat to cover her face, JWBY and oobleck looked at ruby then at each other, oobleck shrugged and started walking with the huge bear following behind him*
