*Jacques said now that he was safe, he was furious, James ironwood looked at Penny and gave her a nod. Penny having her commands, started squeezing her hand harder in Ruby's neck. Ruby was struggling looking like a captured animal, Her face slowly losing it's color as she stretched her human arm to penny*

Ruby:p...penpen...

*Ruby managed to struggle out, each word causing her to lose what little air she had left in her body, as her vision became blurry. A memory came inside penny's brain, one of her and her killer smiling*

Quick flashback

Ruby:penny I'm not doing this, I'm part snake, I don't do wataaaaahh!!!

*We see ruby screaming as Penny pushed her into the lake.*

Ruby:you piece of shit!!!!

Penny:hahaha, wait for me!

*Penny grinned hearing the splash ruby made before Penny jumped down after her giggling all the way, once she was submerged she looked for ruby and saw her floundering, she grabbed her arm and pulled her up with her. both took there heads out of the water and took a deep breath. Ruby was glaring at penny, while penny was giving ruby a big grin. That grin was infectious since ruby grew a grin of her own albeit much smaller*

Ruby:god, your annoying you know that?

Penny:you know you like it~ come on rosy swim with me!

*Penny said with a big smile as she started swimming, ruby rolled her eyes but swam with her. Ruby being new to swimming was struggling to keep up, she was even annoyed that Penny was literally swimming circles around her*

Ruby:hey penpen wait up!

Back to the present

*Penny's eyes widen a little as a quick flash of green flashed through her eyes. Penny's hold on ruby weakened enough for ruby to wiggle her way free, and fall through the hole penny created. Ironwood was not pleased and took out his own gun when they all heard ruby hit the ground hard with a weak groan*

Ironwood:I guess if you want something done right you do it yourself

*Ironwood aimed but ruby was quicker, she had her gun out and shot ironwood's hand disarming him. Ruby got up with a bit of blood coming down her forehead, her vision was blurry and she was stumbling around, but she managed to run away into the Shadow, once she was in her element, she was gone. Ironwood snapped his neck at penny who's eyes were back to the emotionless Red*

Jacques:problem James?

Ironwood:....a glitch in the system. It WON'T happen again, I assure you. Penny capture and destroy the rose

*Ironwood said in a tone that held no room for disagreement, as if the robot could disagree. Penny saluted her general and dropped down the hole in search of ruby*

With ruby

*We see her hiding in a small janitors closet, she was waiting for her double vision to disappear, she was rubbing her neck the bruise of Penny's hold becoming more and more noticeable by the second. All of this was becoming too much for ruby without alcohol. And without that protection she felt someone else's hand on her throat*

Jake:what a disgrace, running away like the sniffling mongrel that you are. Tsk look at this bruise, you couldn't have become more damaged product if you tried

*Ruby heard Jake's poisonous word spit out, she didn't have the time nor the energy to ignore it, so she just touched her forehead and activated her silver eyes, wincing at the activation, since she was even less healed up now*

Ruby:Glynda is gonna kill me....

*Ruby muttered as she used a bit of there magical properties to heal her vision, and concussion she received from the fall, ruby quickly turned them back off knowing her energy is limited. And with a breath she walked out putting the red hood over her head, as she went into search for her team*

Ruby"the green, I saw it. I saw the green in her eyes, I can break the real memories free I know it, I just need time. Heh time, the one thing that's never on my side"

*Ruby thought with a soft chuckle, she made it to the party room seeing the guests getting antsy, and the workers trying to distract them, while they figure out what to do over the fact that they had no slaves to sell. Even given the situation, ruby couldn't help but smirk at what she caused. Ruby saw neo texting to cinder, ruby made her way over to them. Ruby looked at her team, all 5 of them wearing a new disguise making it impossible to tell who they were. All thanks to neo*

Ruby: looks like we overstayed our welcome

Cinder:I couldn't agree more, but there's a problem

*Pyrrha snapped her head to ruby hiding her whole face and most of her body aka outlaw outfit under the hood. *

Nora:there you are, Pyrrha was getting worried about you

Ruby:I'm fine, a couple of bruises but fine. We can worry about that later, for now we need a plan. And no, it's not gonna be smashing everybody, we are completely out numbered

*Ruby whispered softly, Nora huffed that her favorite pass time was being interrupted, but she nodded. Ruby glanced at where cinder was glancing and frowned, there were guards at every exit*

Ruby:no doubt they'll check us, I'm gonna take a wild guess that Neo's semblance is out of juice?

Neo' hit the nail on the head, I won't be able to conceal us until I rested. So we're open to ideas'

Ruby'good thing I'm a paranoid freak, come on i already have one'

*Cinder and neo nodded and followed ruby, Pyrrha, Nora and mercury followed after them, being the ones who couldn't speak sign language. They made it to the second floor where there was an open window*

Cinder:I hope you don't expect us to jump, at this height well receive broken bones if we attempt it,

Pyrrha:also the fact that we got word from Ren and emerald, a small patch of atlas soldiers are waiting for us on the outside

*Pyrrha added looking down with concern, ruby ignored them and broke a crate, her intuition were correct as there was rope in the crate and she took it. Nora looked at cinder with a cheeky grin*

Nora:speak for yourself I for one can make the jump

Mercury:same here giving as my legs are not a problem for me

*Mercury and Nora said without considering the other parts of the body that would be affected when am object goes from a certain speed to zero in a instant*

Ruby:Pyrrha your weapon

*Pyrrha gave ruby her javelin. Ruby tied some rope around and and pulled her arm back, ruby closed her eyes and opened them again activating her silver eyes, much to cinder's enjoyment. Ruby used the silver magic to give her extra strength and she threw the javelin to the abandoned building next door. Ruby tied the other end of the rope to a support beam and looked at everyone*

Ruby;from least to most heavy. Neo hurry up

Neo'ah how sweet'

* Neo signed before using the rope to escape One by one they made it to the other side, once everyone was safe cinder cut the rope and Pyrrha retrieved her weapon*

Ruby:we go off the back and make a run for it, it's only 9 a clock so we'll be back in beacon by 12

Nora:great! That mean me and Ren can have midnight pancakes let's g....

*Before Nora could continue the wall was broken, Ruby's eyes widen as it was Penny who broke the wall, penny grabbed her and slammed her to the roof hard enough to break it.*

Pyrrha:ruby!

*Pyrrha screamed, she was about to attack when Ruby shot Pyrrha's weapon out in such an angle that it drop from her hand, ruby wasn't about to let penny die a second time.Ruby coughed up saliva having the wind taken out of her from the impact. Ruby turned into a explosion of petals and flew to the ground on one knee coughing heavily as penny watched her*

Pyrrha: everybody get ready, ruby go on and...

Ruby:no time! Leave penny to me, cinder and Pyrrha go after winter who'll be here in a few seconds. Nora and mercury the atlas soldiers are no doubt coming up the stairs

*Pyrrha wanted to argue and tell ruby to run away, since she was in no condition to fight, which was true. But she wasn't given a choice when Pyrrha had to block an attack from winter with her shield*

Ruby:as for you, let's take this elsewhere

*Ruby said with a low growl as she turned into an hurricane of petals and dashed to penny, making contact to her stomach and flying them both up. Penny breaking the roof each time till ruby had to turn back to human form out of break. Ruby jumped back but still received a small cut of Penny's blade*

Penny:rose of vacuo you are here by sentence to death

Ruby:penny I know your in there! There bullshiting you! There lying, I didn't kill you!!

*Ruby screamed, but her screamed were met with silence as penny went on the attack, ruby not taking her guns out, she just jumped and dodged out of the way. She wasn't gonna hurt penny, not when she knew she could save her*

Ruby: remember the time we went camping at the sand dunes?!

*Another memory came to penny as her red eyes started glitching to green, the walls atlas military build up to keep the girl in line was failing, and ruby was gonna make sure this penny lives to see freedom*
