*Ruby and Neo jumped down from the top of the skylights, neo used her umbrella to land gracefully, while ruby took of one of her gloves and slides down a wall clawing the wall with her reptilian hand to slow her down. When both were on the ground ruby trembled and quickly placed her glove back on, she started muttering in a soft tone*

Ruby:of course this place has A/C even though it's freezing outside, what rotten luck

Neo'maybe after this mission I can warm you right up'

*Neo hand signed, ruby playfully rolled her eyes with a smirk, both started running making make precious little noise neo grabbed ruby and both hugged the wall, hiding in the shadows. ruby tasted the air and frowned since she remembers this taste quite well. Both former slaves saw ironwood and winter walking pass them*

Neo'bad blood between you two?'

Ruby'you can say that, if he's here his lapdog winter won't be far behind. Keep an eye out'

*Ruby signed seeing ironwood walk inside a room, ruby would want nothing more then walk in that room and shot that man. But she had a mission to complete, so with a sigh she and neo continued there run to where they keep the slaves*

Neo'you know after this we should go somewhere, I know this lovely little ice cream shop's

Ruby'sure, just make sure there's not any Roman ice cream'.

*Neo stopped and looked at her surprised, ruby looked at her confused*

Ruby:why did you stop? Were almost there?

Neo'did you just say Roman ice cream?'

Ruby:oh, my bad. I meant rum ice cream. I'm on medication that doesn't allow alcohol

Neo'ah, gotcha'

*Neo said as they both continued there run, neo was skeptical of the answer ruby said and ruby smirked without neo seeing it, since she said Roman on purpose*

Ruby"so my hunch was correct, this is the same girl I saw with Roman torchwick a few years ago. Is she still a slave? If I freed could, would she come to my side? Things I'll have to think of on another time "

*Ruby thoughts, both stopped and looked ahead, there was 2 armed guards protecting an entrance. Ruby signaled up and neo nodded, both of them climbed up to the support beams and swung from beam to beam, till they were on top of them. They dropped down neo impaled her guard's head with the sharp end of her umbrella that was like a large needle, and ruby snapped her guards neck before he could scream*

neo'you want to pick the lock or to hide the bodies?'

Ruby'leave the bodies here, we won't be around long enough to make a difference. Pick the lock and let's hurry, we don't know when the next patch of guards shows up'

*Neo nodded and started picking the lock, ruby rested her back against the wall and looked at the dead bodies. And like clockwork raven started walking around the one ruby killed looking at her work*

Raven: sloppy work as usual, he died from lack of air. How cruel, summer would've at least given them a painless death

Ruby"there working to keep slaves they deserve what they get"

*Ruby thought as the illusuon of her shattered mind looked at her smiling at her, ruby looked another way but raven was there already*

Raven:this coming from a girl that's letting 300 slaves go work for the major? Admit it ruby, your no different then them, how long before this becomes you?

*Raven asked at the dead body transformed into a dead ruby. Before this self hatred could continue, there was a hand on her shoulder. Ruby jumped, and looked at neo looking at her with a raised eyebrow"

Neo'you ok? Cause the door is open'

Ruby' let's concentrate on the mission let's go '

*Ruby signed walking inside, ruby turned on the light and there was a large number of slaves all in one large room, some chained up on the wall, others crammed into cells, all sharing one room that smelled of death. The slaves looked at the source of the light and were shocked to see the legend herself, the rose of vacuo*

Ruby:before y'all start cheering, everyone quiet. We need to hurry this along, neo start  breaking the chains and cages, I'll call there ride out of here

Neo'and how are you gonna do that?'

Ruby'by asking a favor from someone I despise'

*Ruby signed, neo started doing what she was told. Ruby took off the necklace she keeps hidden under Her outfit, and smashed it to the ground, in a manner of second a red portal opened up and out came raven, the real raven*

Raven:why did you call me brat?

Ruby:I need a favor

*At those words, raven crossed her arms with a smug smile slowing appearing in her face*

Raven:you know what happens when you ask for a favor petal

*Raven said slowly walking towards ruby, ruby kept a cold glare looking at raven, but both of them knew it was fake, ruby was very scared of raven and double so when she owes her a favor*

Ruby:I.....I know full well what I'm asking, take them to the place make sure they're safe

*Ruby flinched when raven placed her hand on Ruby's cheek caressing it softly, ruby felt like she couldn't breath as Raven's overwhelming figure stood so close to her, Ruby's tail couldn't stop rattling when raven got closer to Ruby's ear*

Raven: you got yourself a deal little petal

*Raven turned around and started helping neo free the other slaves. Ruby took a few breath to calm herself and went to opened the gates and pull the slaves out*

Meanwhile

With cinder, Pyrrha, Nora and mercury

Pyrrha"god i forgot how much I hated this"

*Pyrrha thought as she had plastered on a big fake smile talking to some high class person about who knows what*

Gale:oh my, miss nikos is that you?

Pyrrha"great, here we go again"

*Pyrrha thought as she turned around and saw a man walking up to her, a man that was a complete stranger to her*

Gale:hello, I'm Gale Dekarios I'm a friend of your father, if you don't mind could we talk for a minute? It's of the upmost importance

Pyrrha:oh uh, sure?

*Pyrrha looked at the woman she was originally was talking to and gave a little bow as goodbye, she followed Gale till they were both far away from that lady*

Pyrrha:so, what message to you bring from my father?

Gale:oh none, I don't even know him. You just seemed like you wanted to leave that dreadful conversation

*Gale said with a wink, Pyrrha gave a small giggle waved her hand at him*

Pyrrha:I see, well thank you brave hero for the save

Gale:it's fine, I know that woman, she will talk your ear off till your ear falls off. Well I'll leave you to enjoy the party, I simply must find my bodyguard, he's not to happy with me that I brought him here, he.... doesn't approve of my purchases

*Gale said with a chuckle, Pyrrha returned the chuckle although her's was completely fake*

Gale:ah there he is, Tai! Over here, oh and look at that, you even brought me sole refreshments

Tai:I'm on the clock, so I had no choice, but I swear....

Gale:yes yes, this will be the last time you ever accept my job offer if I take you to a property auction ever again, blah blah blah. Have you met miss nikos?

*Gale asked with a smile only a rich person that doesn't have to worry about money can give, Pyrrha looked at him, and Pyrrha eyes widen completely as she looked at the man in front of her, a person she's only seen in a picture of yang's nightstand*

*Ruby and yang's father, Tai Xiao long, tai looked at Pyrrha Nikos and shot her a smile*

Tai:ah miss nikos, it's so nice to meet you, I've seen your fights on the TV. It's... Strange seeing you here

Pyrrha:yes, well I'm here as a representative of my family's organization, you know the one that buys slaves there freedom. It's a shame I couldn't be here sooner to buy at least some of the slaves Max Montana bought. But I'm here now and that's what matters

*Pyrrha said lying through her teeth, tai smiled at her and nodded*

Tai:your going to beacon right? Do you know my daughter yang Xiao long?

Pyrrha:yes, actually she's a friend of mine. She speaks highly about you, maybe we can have this discussion on a later date, for now I must go, i see my platonic date waving towards me

*Pyrrha said as she walked as quickly as she could to cinder. Pyrrha was having a small panic on the fact that ruby and her father were so close to seeing each other again*

Pyrrha"oh God, if ruby sees him who knows how they'll react"

Ruby:3 minutes left, neo let's go.

*Ruby said as raven took care of the last patch of slaves, neo walked out first. Ruby was almost gonna walk out when she heard her*

Raven: I'll see you soon petal, real soon. Count on it

*Ruby trembled, with Jake she would tremble in disgust, but with raven? She trembled in fear, something she hates to feel, but feels everytime raven is near. With a shake of her head she walked out*

Ruby:let's get out of here, I would rather these two be the only ones we kill tonight

Neo'right let's go'

*Ruby and Neo ran away making to the same skyline they jumped in, they climbed out. ruby eyes widen as she grabbed neo and jumped out of the way from an attack. Ruby looked at the person responsible and was winter schnee there*

Winter;rose of vacuo under the order or ironwood you are under arrest!

Ruby:last i checked darling there's 2 of us and one of you

*Ruby saw it, it was only for a second but she saw the smirk on winter's face, it was all she needed to turn around and saw the second person on the roof waiting for her. Ruby eyes widen in shock and took a step back as the figure took a step forward, ruby whispered her name even though her brain didn't believe it*

Ruby:penny.....
