Now

Ruby:I  was walking across the desert, wearing a poncho to help my body, and my bandana was covering the lower half of my face so to not get burned by the sun harsh ray. I've been walking for days trying to find the base of operation of the millennium organization. Since I was working alone, I only had a general direction to go after. Since I'm retelling the story I'm just gonna skip to when I found it and not bore you all for the half month I've spend just walking the desert trying to find it

Flashback

*It was dusk, the dark orange light covering the sandy country, ruby stood on top of a hill looking down to the base she was about to hit, she took out her goggles and looked around trying to find where they kept the slaves. After a bit of searching I found it and found the person looking after them to make sure they didn't run. Her name, zorin blitz, she had ash grey skin and short, spiky, orange hair. She was a very tall and muscular woman, She had narrow green eyes, with the right eye being much darker in color. But her most notable features are her tattoos. They consist of a large pentagram on her forehead, a purple spiral on her right shoulder, and innumerable letters covering the entire right side of her body or at least her face, neck, and arm*

Ruby:....what an ugly bitch heh we could be a matching pair

*Ruby muttered to herself looking at her reptilian side of her body. With a sigh, her eyes got determined, as she jumped down the hill sliding down the Sand dune, she reached the entrance and saw 2 soldiers guarding the entrance, ruby took out self and defense shooting them down, hitting on on its neck while the other got lucky and the bullet reached his heart. Ruby ran inside and hid herself on the shadows as more soldiers came to see the ruckus*

Zorin:alright, alright what's going on here?

Soldier:someone killed these soldiers. There probably around the base

Zorin:then what are you all standing around here?! Look for the culprit! And make sure there not here for the chest.

*Ruby heard, she ran making sure to stay in the shadows as the soldiers ran around looking for the culprit. Aka her, ruby made it to the slaves all locked together in one large cell as if they were canttle, whatever this group was protecting it sure wasn't them since there was nobody on guard anymore, ruby was quick to walk do the door and looked down at the large padlock keeping the slaves inside*

Present

Jaune:oh! Are you gonna shoot the padlocks like in the movies?!

Ruby:....I don't know what kind of movies your watching, but that's a myth. A bullet can't break a padlock

Back to the past

*No a bullet couldn't break the lock, so ruby started hitting it with the bud of her gun trying to force it to open, ruby turned into a petal of roses and reappeared at a safe distance, where ruby was standing was now a Scythe stabbed to the ground*

Zorin:so, your here for the slaves? Who are you?

Ruby:the names is rose of vacuo, I'm here to free those slaves. You can either let us walk out of here, or die by my hands

*Ruby said pointing her guns at her, zorin just laughed, she grabbed a cigarette and placed it on her lips, she turned it on and started smoking, zorin raised her scythe and spins it to her back*

Zorin:that's real stupid of you, trying to play the hero. But I can't let you walk out of here alive,

Ruby;you think you can kill me with that stupid ass weapon? What kind of overcompensating are you dealing with that you need a scythe? It's not even a good weapon, so why waste your time with it

Glynda:I can't help but feel that you added that part since your mother used a scythe

Ruby:....guilty, honestly I didn't say anything after she said that

Back to the past

*Ruby heard multiple guns clicks she glanced around and on the second floor was filled with armed soldiers all aiming at her. Lights came and centered on her. Zorin grew a smug smirk as she looked at the Much shorter woman*

Zorin:tell you what, since your cute. Drop your weapons and I may keep you as my pet.

*Ruby glared at her, the notion of being owned by someone again making her furious. Ruby turned into a explosion of roses and the shooting started. Ruby landed on the second floor and shot 3 of the soldiers. Ruby used a 4th as a shield as they shot him without mercy. Ruby aimed and shot another one making the man's backside of the head explode. Ruby turned into petals again and started dashing around the base shooting until she was out of bullets. After that she grabbed 2 sub-machine guns from dead bodies and used that*

Glynda:we don't need that much graphic information

Back to the past

*In the end, ruby was out of breath but she managed to kill off the soldiers of the base, all the while zorin was just leaning against the slave door finishing her 3rd smoke. She got up and started walking towards ruby who was having trouble standing*

Zorin:congrats, you managed to kill of some  bums that we picked off the street, really I should thank you, since now we don't have to pay them. But this has

*A gunshot was heard, zorin eyes widen as she looked at her hand, where once was a third eye now was just a hole. At the beginning ruby noticed that eye on her palm and knew it was trouble so she planned to make sure this gray skin woman couldn't use it. Zorin gave a scream of pain and fury. She glared at ruby and ran towards her when another gunshot was heard, this one pushed zorin's weapon out of her hand*

Max:now now ladies that's enough, you've put on quite the show. But I've seen enough, now zorin be a dear and let the slaves free

Zorin:but major!!

*Zorin was shut up by a hard backhand to the face, zorin spat blood on the floor and looked at the smiling face of her boss*

Max:questioning my authority are you?

Zorin:.....no sir, it will be done

Max: splendid, and make sure to give them all enough money to start a new life. They served there purpose well, bringing the up and coming outlaw right to my hands

*Zorin walked away not before glaring one last time to ruby, ruby in turn flipped her off. She looked up at the major who was giving her his hand and the most evil looking smile ruby has seen in a while*

Max:come my dear, let's have a chat. I've been expecting you for weeks

Ruby:all this for me? You could've just told me where this base was you know

*Ruby said trying to regain her strength and not look weak in front of this person, the major just chuckled as ruby grabbed his hand and he helped her up*

Max:now, what would be the point of the test if I made it easy for you? But come my dear we have much to discuss over some tea and biscuits.

*Max said as he took ruby to his air condition office. Ruby sat as a giant walked inside putting a tray of tea and biscuits on the table, ruby looked up and her eyes widen a little, since the man was one of the person ruby thought she killed, but the man looked unharm, apart from a bullet mark on his face, the man didn't have any emotions as he walked away, ruby looked at the major who was sipping on his tea*

Max:my that's lovely, please have some. You must be absolutely parched from your travel

Ruby:.....

*Ruby grabbed the teacup and drank it. The major took an envelope out and threw it on the table, it was filled with pictures and no doubt information on her*

Max:the rose of vacuo, formally knowned as rattlesnake Jake's property, before that your name was ruby rose, daughter of the famous summer rose. That's quite the legacy for someone so young,

Ruby:....you said you were testing me, why?

*Ruby said still getting a sense of uneasiness with this man, the major just gave a small chuckle grabbing one of the biscuits*

Max:I am not a rich man Mrs. Rose, at least not compared to people like the schnee company. And what I can't have is someone like you trying to destroy my operation before it even begins to set off

Ruby:then why not just kill me?

*Ruby said confused, the major moved her finger side to side in a 'no' notion, having an almost giddy smile*

Max:ah there it is, the difference between a soldier and a leader. You and zorin have the same problem. Why would I kill you? When you can help me

Ruby:you think I would ever work for a slave trader?!

*Ruby yelled furious standing up and glaring at the man, to her surprised no one came to protect this man, as for the major he just crossed his leg his smile still not leaving his face*

Max:yes. Now please sit down, there are approximately 10 million people in slaved in remnant, and you've currently only been able to save like around 50-60 slaves. Impressive giving your age and the fact your doing this all alone. I'll give you that is mighty impressive, but at the grand scale ultimately useless compared do the 10 million, so. What if I told you I can help you save hundreds, even thousands of slaves ?

Ruby:.....how?

*Ruby said sitting Down, the major smile became even bigger, as ruby took a cookie and ate it*

Max:I can give you the resources you need extra ammo, money, information on the location of other slave camps, etc. and all I ask in return is that you turn a blind eye to my company and my slaves.

Ruby:excuse me?

Max:you heard me miss rose. With my help you'll be able to save thousands before you meet your end. All funded by me, and in return all you have to do, I to not touch my property. So.... Do we have deal?

*The major said giving ruby his hand, ruby frowned thinking about it. Ultimately she shook his hand making a deal with a devil in order to save thousands*
