Author note: since it's Christmas extra chapter this week

*ruby was looking up at the clock, it was finally Friday, and Pyrrha promised to come visit. Ruby's hand was moving up and down as she was getting impatient*

Glynda: she'll be here just relax a little, read a book

Ruby:you read a book

*Ruby grumbled bored out of her mind. Glynda just raised an eyebrow since she indeed had a book in hand, ruby just grumbled something and kept glancing at the clock*

Glynda:ruby do me a favor, and read that book title over there, I can't right read it from over here

Ruby:last i checked your legs works just fine

*Ruby grumbled, Glynda frowned and kept looking at ruby who ignored her, before Glynda could ask something the door rang. Glynda got up and opened the door*

Glynda:ah mis nikos hello, Ruby's been waiting for you, and Mr. Arc hello

Jaune;uh, hello Miss goodwitch I hope I'm not being a bothered, but uh, Pyrrha invited me

*Jaune said with and awkward smile, he rubbed the back of his head getting more nervous seeing Glynda's neutral serious expression*

Glynda: that's fine, please come in

Pyrrha:thank you Miss goodwitch

*Jaune and Pyrrha walked inside, ruby raised her eyebrow seeing pretty boy there with his hand full of something*

Ruby;what you Got there pretty boy?

Jaune:oh uh, well since your on bed rest and Pyrrha been telling me how your bored out of your mind. I uh, got you a little something

*Jaune placed the weird rectangular object on the table, and a even bigger cardboard rectangular object with pictures*

Ruby:are those... Multi color horses?

Jaune:uh yeah, when my little sisters get sick they would watch this show. I got the complete box set here and I thought that well since your on bed rest you might like to watch?

*Ruby shrugged and sat up straight on the couch, jaune smiled brightly as he started setting up the portable DVD player and putting the CD. Pyrrha sat down and jaune was about to sit down when ruby moved to where he was about to seat*

Ruby:I prefer this spot, it's closer to the window

Jaune:uh, sure ok.

*Jaune sat down on the only spot available next to Pyrrha, pyrrha was blushing slightly and she looked behind jaune to ruby, ruby smiled and her and gave her a playful wink.*

Pyrrha"ruby, thank you"

*Pyrrha thought happily, jaune was in-between the two girls. Ruby looked at him with curious eyes*

Ruby"strange, normally I want men as far away from me as possible, but with him it's... different. Maybe because of all his sisters?"

*Ruby thought not being able to pinpoint that jaune just gave out this awkward older brother energy that ruby was eating up, Glynda coughed getting the attention of the 3*

Glynda:well I'll get out of your hairs, I'll be in my home office if you need anything. Ruby don't forget to drink the medicine in 3 hours

Ruby:yeah yeah

*Glynda petted her hair and walked to her office, jaune grabbed the control and hit play to one of his personal favorite shows of all times*

DVD:My Little Pony, My Little Pony
Ahh, ahh, ahh, ahhh...

Scene change

*Jaune was nervous, he kept glancing at ruby who kept a bored expression on her face, her eyes never leaving the small tv*

Jaune"oh God she hates it, why did I think an outlaw would like this show? I'm such an idiot. No wonder cardin makes fun of me"

Jaune:s..so uh ruby....

Ruby;shhhh, twilight just found the real cadance, I knew that couldn't be the real cadance. She didn't act anything like twilight described her, can't believe not even Celestia could tell her niece was fake. And where the hell is Luna, in all this?....

*Ruby said, what jaune got wrong was that ruby wasn't bored, she was enthralled with the show. Jaune smiled brightly and kept watching. Ruby hissed when the video turned black*

Ruby:what's the big idea?

Jaune:oh damn, the battery ran out. Hold on let me hook it up to an outlet

*Jaune said getting up, while Jaune was doing that Pyrrha looked at ruby happy that she seemed to be enjoying the show*

Pyrrha: so ruby, who's your favorite character? It's Applejack right?

Ruby:your kidding right? She boring. No matter what she's always right. Where's the growth in that? No. My favorite is twilight, second being rarity

*Ruby said explaining why she likes it and just looking normal, no frown on her face, no sarcasm in her tone, no borders. Ruby was just acting like a normal 15 year old girl*

Pyrrha"if only yang could see her like this, I can only imagine what she would give to see her like this"

Jaune:I like Fluttershy, she's just so cute and shy, and she loves animals what's not to love?

Pyrrha:....you like this show?

*Jaune blushed and coughed going back to connecting the portable DVD. Ruby raised her eyebrow and looked at Pyrrha*

Ruby; what's wrong with that? I like this show

Pyrrha:o..oh no no nothing! It just that I didn't think a boy would this show!

Jaune:hey now, this show is incredible, what's so wrong with a boy liking it?

*Jaune said with crossed arms. Pyrrha was panicking moving side to side. In the end she could only mumble an apology and look down on her lap with an embarrassed blush*

Jaune: anyway like I said I love Fluttershy and I so ship her with rainbow dash

Ruby:ship?

Jaune:who do you pair romantically

Ruby:ah right, 1.twilight with rarity, 2. Twilight and Luna, 3. Twilight and derpy, 4. Twilight and Fluttershy, 5.Twilight and Pinky pie...

Pyrrha:so twilight with everyone basically

Ruby:I mean yeah pretty much

Jaune:alright I have it hooked up, let's keep watching. You are gonna love this song ruby.

*There Moment was stopped when someone knocked on the doorbell, Glynda walked out of her office right next to the living room and started walking do the door*

Glynda: it's alright, I'll get it.

*Glynda said, the door opened before Glynda could get there and a fat short man who was well dressed, walked inside. Ruby glanced at the door, she sighed since this wasn't velvet scarlatina, no quite the opposite*

Glynda:excuse me, but who the hell are you?

Ruby: you've gotten fatter Max

*Ruby said as the blond just smiled and looked at ruby ignoring everyone else*

Max:my, my glad to see my information rang true, how are you rose?

Ruby:just peachy major. I assume you have A big tip for me, giving that your here in person?

*Glynda and the rest were confused this heavy set man walking inside the living room, he was blond and short wearing and expensive suit, max sat down smiling at glynda*

Max:oh my apologies where are my manners, Max Montana but please call me

Max:the major, CEO of the Millennium Organization

*Glynda eyes widen and looked at ruby who was sitting up straight. Glynda was more confused then before*

Glynda"why is ruby talking to someone who's a high level on the slave trade business?"

Ruby:stop being dramatic and get to the point. What do you got for me ?

Max:yes quite right. It would seem that the schnee are gonna have a auction over 2000 merchandise.

*The room got uncomfortable for 3 individuals who quickly realized that merchandise meant slave, Weiss family was about to auction off over 2000 slaves. Glynda looked at ruby who had a small smirk on her face*

Ruby: It would be ashamed if something were to happen do them.

Max: Oh Yes, just imagine the financial and public backlash if that event is a failure. Oh it makes me salivate just thinking about kt

Ruby:yes, a damn shame. Give me the time and place, I'll be there

*Glynda glared at ruby about to interrupt but one look from ruby, made her hold her tongue. Glynda wrote down the information the major gave. Max let drop a rather large bag filled with Liens*

Max: you payment, as always you'll receive the other half when the job is finished

Ruby: I know how our deal works, now scram I was in the middle of something.

*Max nodded giving everyone a wave before he got up and left. Once gone Glynda was the first to act looking at ruby*

Glynda:ok, I feel like you owe me one big explanation

Ruby:I don't feel like I owe you anything but fine, I'll play nice. What to you want to know

*Ruby said with a blow of her hair, she grabbed the bag and looked at the money, licking her lips a little seeing the beautiful profit of her venture. Glynda sat down on the arm chair while Jaune sat back down*

Glynda;why did he give you that information?

Ruby:where else do you think I got my information? He's my eyes and ears on the slavery operations

Pyrrha:if I may ask, why would he help you? Isn't he part of that organization? Oh! Does he hate it? Is he helping you to save those...

*Pyrrha stopped talking when she heard ruby laughing, and I mean big belly laughing at that very notion. Pyrrha frowned looking at ruby who cleaned a tear from her face*

Ruby:oh God, it's been a long while since I laughed like that. And no, he's got more then a few slaves, all his money is blood money like the schnee family

Jaune:then why are you helping him?

Ruby:hm, its a long story. But to make it short, he's the devil I made a deal with

Glynda: I'm gonna need to hear that story

Ruby:fine, it was a hot day in vacuo....
