Author note:sorry I'm late, I was busy at baldur's gate alright let's go

*it's been a few days since ruby visited Zwei, the weekend was over and school was back in session, so ruby was alone with glynda till Friday*

Morning

*Glynda woke up early as always, she got up and stretched she put on her robe and slippers and walked out of her room, she softly opened Ruby's room and frowned slightly when she saw the girl again trembling and silently crying*

Glynda"how much more can she take, before she talks to me?"

*Glynda thought since she wanted to help the poor girl. But knew that if she forced it, nothing would change. Ruby had to be the one to come to her, with a sigh, Glynda walked up to her. She sat on the bed and started to softly pet her hair*

Glynda:I remember tears streaming down your face, When I said I'll never let you go
When all those shadows almost killed your light

*Glynda sang softly to ruby, who in tern started to squirm closer to her. Glynda had a soft smile as she continued*

Glynda:I remember you said don't leave me here alone, But all that's dead and gone and passed tonight

Inside Ruby's brain

*She was reliving another day in her hell of being a mindless husk when the world changed into a more calm and for lack of s better word loving one*

Glynda:Just close your eyes, the sun is going down You'll be alright, no one can hurt you now Come morning light, you and I'll be safe and sound

*Ruby felt a warmth she enjoyed on her head and got closer do it, the dark cesspool that is her brain, became again that soft meadow where she was alone with the warmth*

Glynda:Don't you dare look out your window, darling, everything's on fire The war outside our door keeps raging on

*Ruby's tears stopped, she felt this warm aura just Engulfed her making her feel something she hasn't felt since she was 4. Safe*

Glynda:Hold onto this lullaby even when the music's gone, gone Just close your eyes, the sun is going down

*The world started to disappear as ruby was waking up, she looked up to see this angel, this thing that was giving her this feeling of safety, but she was already disappearing along with the world*

Real world

Glynda:You'll be alright, no one can hurt you now Come morning light, you and I'll be safe and sound

*Glynda had ruby in her arms, she ended fully in the bed hugging ruby from behind and petting her reptilian side. She felt ruby squirm again, she stopped singing and looked down at Ruby's snake eyes looking up at her*

Glynda:morning, feeling better?

Ruby;what do you think you're doing?

*Glynda heard the harshness in her words, the metaphorical walls going back up inside ruby, but at the same time she didn't pull away*

Glynda:you were having another nightmare, do you want to talk about it?

Raven:go ahead and talk about It, your not as strong as summer so why pretend you are

*Ruby heard Raven's voice in her head, her eyes became cold as she pushed herself off the embrace*

Ruby:I don't need to talk about nothing because I'm fine, it was just a bad dream

Glynda: yes, but when you have a lot of those it's a pattern. I just want to help you break that cycle

*Ruby clicked her tongue and stared taking off her bright pink footed pajamas that Glynda always insists, borderline demands ruby to put on, instead of sleeping in the nude, like she usually does*

Ruby:last i checked I didn't asked for your help. I'm fine I'm just need my cactus juice. Till then I'll have to endure it

Glynda:ruby, I'm not gonna force you but, cactus juice won't last forever

Ruby:no, but I'll die before it runs out

*Ruby pretty much killed the conversation after that little statement. Ruby put on her pair of clothes for the day, some shorts and a long sleeve shirt, she put on her bandana and her gloves and looked herself in the mirror. She looked at herself side to side to make sure her clothes covered most of the reptilian parts*

Glynda:I hope we can discuss that little comment some other time, but for now. Come here, lets get you to the dinning room

*Ruby grumbled but let Glynda place her hand around ruby to help her walk, it was slow but after ruby kept that little secret of the blood. It was as much cardio as glynda would allow her to do*

Glynda:how are the voices treating you today?

Ruby:there...softer, been a while now all I have are the cravings for my cactus juice

Raven: can't even walk by yourself

Ruby:really really deep cravings

*Ruby muttered as glynda placed her on the table, ruby rested her head on her hand as she waited, after a few moments Glynda came back with her pills*

Glynda:you already what To do, I'll start making your breakfast

Ruby;much appreciated. Make sure the coffee is strong this time

*Ruby said as she looked down at the multiple prescription pills she had to swallow down*

Ruby:I still don't get why I need this, my silver eyes will heal myself

Glynda:with the silver eyes it would take a few months and your know it, with the pills I'll be out of your hair by the end of the month, and you can go back to your dorm room. Now swallow

*Ruby sighed frustrated, she grabbed the pills and drank them down with a bottle of water ruby gagged at the awful after taste and grumpled*

Ruby:can I ask you a question?

Glynda:giving that you never had a proper education, I would encourage you to ask me many questions. But yes continue

*Ruby pursed her lips, the kept looking at her bottle of water sloshing around with dead eyes. She sighed and asked it*

Ruby:why are you helping me? I know it's not because of the mission. So what is it?

Glynda:hm...there's multiple reasons why I decided to take care of you and open my doors to you. The main one being that I simply wish to help you. I know you need more then that giving that no one in vacuo does anything without a motive. But that's really is the truth, I just want to help you get better.

*Glynda could see ruby through the mirror and how uncomfortable she got from the notion of someone wanting to help her*

Glynda:My second reason, I a reason your not gonna like

Ruby:I already don't like a lot of things, what's one more

*Ruby said with a shrug, Glynda hummed as she cooked there breakfast, she kept taking glances at ruby to see her reactions*

Glynda:the second reason, is that I used to be good friends with your mother, she even saved my life a couple of times. So I'm helping you cause I feel like I owe her this much

Ruby:.....at least that's something I can understand

*Ruby said, Glynda was surprised at the reaction. It wasn't negative, it wasn't positive, but it definitely wasn't negative.*

Ruby:in vacuo owing someone something is very important, since a person is only as good as there word.

Glynda:and that's why Penny's death harmed you so much? Because you never got to pay her back, for the times she saved you?

*Ruby clicked her tongue and looked another way,  Glynda hummed as she flipped the pancakes*

Glynda: that's something, we have in common. I never got to pay so many people back for saving me

Ruby:how....how do you deal with it

*Ruby muttered softly, in a rare showing of vulnerability. Glynda turned her head and looked at her*

Glynda: I remind myself that they didn't give there life's for me to be mopping around with regret. They gave it up so that we could live on. Since you don't die for your friends miss rose, you live for them

Ruby:then why didn't summer live for you?  Why didn't Penny live for me?

*Ruby said with a deep frown on her face, Glynda sighed as she served the food on plates and walked to the table, she placed Ruby's food on her side a monster size amount of food, and on Glynda's side was a normal serving size of food. Glynda petted Ruby's hair, and the touch starved ruby let it happened*

Glynda"without the alcohol in her system ruby is a lot more opened to physical affection"

*Glynda thought as she sat down on her own side of the table*

Glynda:now that ruby, is a good question. That I just don't have to answer. I can only tell you that they gave there love because they loved us in there own ways

Ruby:tsk, maybe penny. But summer I know didn't love me worth a damn

*Ruby said darkly as she ate her breakfast aggressively, Glynda didn't say anything, knowing summer rose was a touchy subject so she just ate her food. And there they ate in silence. Ruby frowned looking at her shaking hand with a sigh, while the hallucinations gotten less bad, the shaking was still there and will be there for a few more days*

Ruby"still no guns for me, god i miss shooting something"
