Pyrrha:ruby we should really be heading home

*Pyrrha said as they walked deeper into the forest. Ruby waved her hand dismissively and kept walking, sober or drunk, both versions of ruby were stubborn and refused to stop just because she's in pain*

Ruby;not yet...I...I...

Pyrrha:ruby!

*Ruby was about to drop when Pyrrha caught her, Pyrrha frowned as she placed ruby on her back holding her legs, ruby slowly wrapped her arms around Pyrrha neck. Pyrrha flinched when she heard sniffling coming from her back*

Ruby:I...I just want to see Zwei again...

Pyrrha:ruby...

Ruby:please...

*Ruby said softly, Pyrrha looked conflicted but sighed and kept walking to the cave. Ruby was not doing well, only having 3 hours of sleep, running on caffeine that was almost gone from her body, the medicine side affects, the exercises, and worse of all all the hallucinations. Ruby could only hold on for so long before breaking down, hearing everything that those voices kept spitting out, her will can only go for so long*

Ruby:I just want it all to end....

Pyrrha:don't worry ruby, this is just a hump, you'll beat it at the end of the day

Ruby:I'm not talking about the hallucinations, I don't want to live pyrrha, I wish that Grimm would've killed me instead of Jake like it was supposed to...

*Ruby said in a mix of a mumble and getting chocked up as she sniffled louder, Pyrrha stopped moving and just looked shock, what was she supposed to say?, thankfully she didn't have to say much since she could see the cave*

Pyrrha:ruby we're here....

Ruby;Zwei i know you can smell me, get out here. Momma can't walk no more

*They both heard a small roar as out of the shadows came Zwei. Zwei seeing her mother injured started growling at Pyrrha*

Pyrrha:ruby, a little help here?

Ruby:she didn't hurt me boy, so calm down and come to momma

*Ruby said making two calm down, it walked up to ruby bumping his forehead on her rib softly and making some bear noises*

Ruby;I'm fine boy, just a little tired...

*At the word tired Zwei grabbed ruby by the back of her shirt and carried her inside his cave, while that was happening Pyrrha took her phone out and called mis Glynda*

Glynda:ah miss nikos hello, mind telling me why miss rose is not on bed rest like she's supposed to?

Pyrrha:that... originally was my fault. It was such a lovely day and I just thought ruby could use some fresh air

*Pyrrha could hear the deep breathing coming from the other line, the frustration was clear*

Glynda:miss nikos, there's a reason she's bedridden. The medication she's on doesn't allow her to do much cardio for a reason, walking will essentially make her feel as if she is walking on sharp knives, and her feet will bleed terribly.

Pyrrha:what kind of medication do you have her on?!

*Pyrrha unintentionally yelled at her teacher as she walked as fast as she could to ruby*

Glynda:the medication doctor Joshua Graham prescribed her. Now just hurry up and give me your location miss nikos. And make sure she doesn't walk anymore then she already have

Pyrrha:xxxx xxxx xxxx where Ruby's pet Ursa lives

Glynda: you've gotta be shitting me I was just at beacon argh, I'll be there as soon as I can

*Glynda hung up and Pyrrha sighed she was gonna get in so much trouble, but right now that was the least of her concern. She made it to ruby and saw her cuddling up with Zwei*

Ruby:hey angel face what's with that look?

Pyrrha;your boots, take them off now

*Pyrrha said in a stern tone, ruby just got more comfortable on zwei's fur with a yawn*

Ruby:my how forward, at least buy me. hiss!!

*Ruby hissed as Pyrrha forcefully took off Ruby's boot and sure enough her the boots reaked of blood. Ruby's socks soaked them up turning from white to a deep red*

Pyrrha:ruby what the fuck?! Why didn't you tell me you were bleeding!

Ruby:it's not that bad...

*Ruby said dismissively, since she literally been through worse then a little bleeding. Pyrrha glared at her as she threw the boots outside the cave since the smell was too much for her*

Pyrrha: argh you stupid girl! What if you bled out?!

Ruby:I would be happy, since that means this freak is finally gonna die

*Pyrrha stopped talking and just looked at ruby frustrated, what was she supposed to do? She's a champion not a therapist. She pinched the bridge of her nose and just collapsed next to her*

Pyrrha:your infuriating you know that?

Ruby:hey, no one is making you stay by my side, you masochist

*Pyrrha blew her a raspberry, making ruby give out a weak chuckle. She took a deep breath and enjoyed the fresh air of the forest*

Ruby:....thanks...for letting me come here. I needed this

Pyrrha:how...how are the voices?

*Ruby looked in front of her, she could just make out the 3 of them, but it was all fuzzy like a fog blocking them from hurting her mentally*

Ruby:I can hear them, but it's more like small mumblings, hopefully my brain will calm down after today

Pyrrha:so after today you won't have more hallucinations?

*Ruby cackled at that as she took her socks off and let her bloody feets free to enjoy the cold air*

Ruby:after today I can manage, the hallucinations. Unless I'm drunk those damn things never leave thanks to commander ironwood

Pyrrha:ironwood? What does he have to do with anything?

*Ruby hummed, she moved her hair out of the way and Pyrrha could see a 'X' like scar that was covered by the hair*

Ruby:now that's quite the story drunk me would never tell. So it was when I somehow managed to escape that sick fuck of a snakes clutches, sadly he cornered me in a cave....

Flashback

*Ruby fell to her knees feeling blood coming down her abdomen. She looked around feeling a sense of fear consume her body completely, she was hiding behind a rock while the sound of footsteps came closer and closer*

Jake:where are you, you little shit. Come out now and I promise your punishment won't be that bad

*Ruby heard Jake's voice echoing throught the cave making hard to know where the voice came from. So ruby just stood still the little girl was silently sobbing terrified, as this was the first time ruby tried to runaway*

Jake:come on kid I can smell your blood a mile away, get out here. Or maybe I should give my pal a call see if he can beat the rebellion out of you

*Ruby just crawled in to a ball and kept silently crying, her body was shaking like a leaf as the steps got louder and louder until they stopped, ruby screamed as she was pulled by her hair, she tried to fight it, but she was no match for Jake's strength. Jake having enough of her whining grabbed his gun and slammed the grip so hard against Ruby's face that she passed out, as she was blacking out she could hear Jake say something about a man named "ironwood"*

Scene change

*When ruby woke up she was freezing, she tried to look around but the place she was in was dark, she tried to move but her whole body Was strapped to a metal bed, the light turned on and ruby heard foot steps coming closer to her, the metal bed was lifted and ruby got a good look to a doctor and the man she'll rip his arm in a few years commander James ironwood*

Present

Pyrrha:wait a minute! You ripped commander ironwood's arm off?!

*Ruby cackled softly at Pyrrha's shocked look and nodded with a shrug*

Ruby:yeah I did, it's a long story, if you want I'll tell you about it another time. But for now

Back to the past

Doctor:remind me again why I'm here? You know how I feel about slavery James

Ironwood:I know, but I'm calling a favor from you, unless you want the government to know about that little project you have in your basement?

*The doctor frowned but ultimately sighed and nodded grabbing a cart of tools and wheeling it next to ruby, both acting as is she didn't exist as if she was just a damn property.*

Doctor:so, what am I doing here?

Ironwood: Jake's little property has a rebellion inside her, your gonna snuff that out of her, with that little chip you made for us

Doctor:James I made those chips for the robots! Not for slaves, god only knows what the side affects of putting that inside her brain will cause her

Ironwood:it's just property, we can buy Jake a new one if this one fails. Now get it done

*Ironwood said before walking out, the doctor sighed and sat down on the chair*

* it was clear he didn't want to do this. But not wanting and not doing it, are two completely different things*

Doctor:I...am so sorry about this....

Ruby:can....can you at least tell me what that chip will do to me?

*Ruby said not having much choice in the matter. The doctor sighed and looked at the little girl*

Doctor: it'll make you completely subservient do your master, whatever he says you'll do without objections. You'll... you'll stop being human since you'll stop having free will, as for the side affects I don't know

Ruby:I see....

*Ruby said looking up at the ceiling, she was terrified but what could she do? She couldn't fight, couldn't escape, the last thing she remembered was the doctor putting a mask on her face making her sleeping and the sound of a drill*

Later

*Ruby woke up but felt different. No matter what she thought her body wouldn't respond. She could hear people talking but it was muffled, she could look but her vision was blurry. Then Jake walked in front of her, being the only image that wasn't blurry, being the only thing she could hear*

Jake:so let's test this puppy out, petal get on your knees and service me...

*Ruby heard and not matter how much her mind would scream, not matter what she tried to do her body moved without hesitation on its own, getting on her knees and....*
