*It took an hour of walking until ruby and the rest found a place for Zwei to live in*

Ruby:well this place is as good as any. big cave, a river that's connected to a lake so you can have some fishes, and far enough away where you won't cause me any trouble

*Zwei said in agreement, ruby gave a small yelp as Zwei grabbed her by the back of her coat and carried her inside. The rest looked confused and kinda worried until they saw Zwei give a few spins before laying down cuddling with ruby. Ruby sighed and looked at her team*

Ruby:yeah, the big baby wants to sleep with me today. Go on without me I'll be back by night time

Pyrrha:are you sure you'll be alright with....him

*Pyrrha asked still not trusting the large beast not to attack ruby. Ruby waved her hand dismissively*

Ruby:yeah, he eats fish and berries not humans, angel. Go one I'm sure you all have better things to do then staying in a forest watching us sleep

*Ren shrugged and laid down on the cave leaning against a wall with his eyes closed*

Ren:I'll keep her company. Could use a nap anyhow

Nora:oh! If ren's staying I'm staying too!!

*Nora said and much to Ren's surprise Nora jumped on top of Zwei rubbing her face on his fur. Zwei moved a little but overall let it happened. Pyrrha eyes widen when neo cuddled up next to ruby with ruby wrapping her arms around her*

Neo' wouldn't mind sleeping next to a beautiful girl's

Ruby: Pyrrha neo wants to sleep with a beautiful girl. So stay since you're the only beautiful girl here

*neo snorted and pushed ruby playfully, they didn't noticed Pyrrha blushing from the out of nowhere compliment. With a sigh she laid down on the other side of ruby occasionally glancing at zwei's sleeping face*

Pyrrha:I...I guess a nap could be good a team building exercise

Ruby:Zwei, i know you can hear me. After this you're punishment continues, you'll still be grounded you hear?

*Zwei gave a small roar of reluctant agreement*

Ren:what did he do anyway?

Ruby:I don't want to talk about what he did to that goat

*Ruby said putting her hat on top of her face and going to sleep

*Her and her team made it back to there room, Blake went to her bed and went to the book she was reading. Jaune went to study next to Weiss*

*Yang said crossing her arms, the other 3 collectively groaned. Blake looked at her*

Blake:yang, stop it. That Ursa is not gonna harm ruby, we're talking about the same girl that killed a S class Grimm by herself she'll be fine

Blake:I know, that ruby was treating that thing like a pet and the ursa actually listen to her. I know he looked so sad I almost fell sorry for the damned thing. And I know that you're just being overprotective again, so I'm done with this conversation

*Blake said plainly going back to her book. Yang gave a frustrated mouth closed screamed and walked out ot the room*

Jaune:should someone check on her? Make sure she doesn't do anything stupid?

Weiss:not while you keep making mistakes like this, honestly how did you become the leader

*Weiss said slapping Jaune behind the head, Jaune winced and gave an awkward chuckle and kept studying. Over time Weiss became jaune pseudo tutor since if he's gonna lead her , his grade better be equal or better then hers*

With yang

*yang was stomping her feet, anyone who could see her would give her space not wanting to end up with a black eye at best. Yang stopped when she felt a hand on her shoulder, she turned around and was about to punch the person*

Qrow:wow wow firecracker it's just me

Yang:uncle qrow? What are you doing here?

*Yang said grabbing her hand back putting them in her pockets*

Qrow:well you haven't contact me or your old man for a couple of months, so he told me to check up on you

Yang:I'm fine, just....sigh I'm just frustrated

Qrow:want to talk about it?

*Qrow could see yang shifting around uncomfortably. But sadly for yang, Qrow is not kind and patient like Glynda is to ruby*

Yang:not really no

Qrow:Uhu, does it have anything to do with the rose of vacuo?

*Yang flinched and looked at her uncle, her eyes trembling looking at him. Qrow sighed and patted her shoulder*

Qrow:come on firecracker, I think it's about time we talk and I know just the place

*Qrow walked ahead with yang following behind him with a sense of dread slowly growing inside of her. They walked for a long while until qrow opened the door on a door and walked inside the room turning on the lights*

Qrow:heh, key still works good to know when I'm drunk and don't want to pay for a hotel

Yang: what's this room?

Qrow:this room my firecracker is my team's old room. Man the memories this walls could tell you. Sit down

*yang and qrow sat down, qrow looked and yang waiting for her to start*

Yang:I...it started with this mission to find the rose of vacuo....

Back to ruby

*Ruby woke up sniffing with her snake tongue, she frown, that frown quickly turned in to a scowl as she disappeared in to a explosion of roses. Thankfully it didn't woke up anybody, ruby appeared behind a Raven pointing her gun at the bird's back*

Ruby;still using the same perfume huh? Smelling of death and garbage, so why don't you go back to human form you bit...

*Ruby fell crashing through every branch on the way down groaning in pain*

Raven:still too quick to action and not enough looking at your surroundings, disappointed like always

*Raven said landing on her feet gracefully, ruby was correct that raven was there but she pointed at the wrong bird, raven just sprayed the bird with the same perfume she uses*

Ruby:fuck you, why don't you go annoy your daughter and leave me alone if you know what's good for you

*Ruby said even in pain she refused to show weakness, raven was not amused as she walked towards her*

Raven:I come all the way here to check on my niece and that's how you're gonna act?

Ruby:last i checked we share no blood thank God. And I see you as the bitch that took away my freedom for a short period of time, until I escaped

Raven:until I LET you escape, someone as weak as you could never escape from me unless I wanted too

*Now ruby was angry as she got up ignoring the sharp pain in her ankle being broken by the fall, and she pointed her guns at the woman, glaring at her with nothing but hatred*

Raven:better, fighting through the pain. You've definitely improved at least a little

Ruby:give me a reason why I shouldn't blast your brains out?

Raven: because you've tried it before and failed miserably every time? You honestly think now with you injured would be any different?

*Ruby's fingers hold the trigger tighter, raven didn't even look worried she crossed her arms and started walking towards her. Ruby clicked her tongue and placed self and defense back in there holsters*

Raven:another disappointment, summer wouldn't have given up

Ruby:and that's why she's dead right now

*Raven frowned at her and ruby crossed her arms*

Ruby:so why are you here ?

Raven:heard about that little Job you had with ozpin. As much as you may hate me, and may think that I hate you. I'm simply looking after you ruby, I would rather not have what's left of summer's legacy 6 feet underground

Ruby:I'm not her legacy, that woman is nothing to me and so are you and everyone else in that fucking family. My legacy is mine and mine alone

Raven:just be careful and don't lower your guard around ozpin or the people under him, they will side with him each time no matter what

*Raven turned in to a raven and flew off. Ruby had the perfect opportunity to shot her down. But she didn't she turned in to an explosion of petals and went back to her team*

Ruby"as much as I want her dead, when I kill her it'll be face to face so I am see the life be drained from her those eyes of her"

*Ruby thought as she laid against Zwei and let the dreams take her*

Ruby"I'll deal with the broken ankle later..."

*Ruby thought not knowing that someone followed her, saw and listened to the entire conversation*

Back to yang and qrow

Qrow:so she is petal huh....

*Qrow said out loud looking up at the dusty ceiling, yang just spend the entire time explaining everything to qrow*

Yang:yes, I....i don't know what to do uncle qrow

Qrow:for one, we can't tell your dad about this. It took him years to crawl out of that pit of depression he was stuck on when she died... well disappeared. If he meets ruby again and she talks badly about summer? It won't be a pretty sight

*Yang nodded in agreement, she loved her father she did. But those first few years when ruby was gone, yang is not afraid to say that she was scared of what her father might do to himself, or her*

Qrow:and second. I agreed with Oz, you need to give her time, she's angry at the world with justification sure. But she's just lashing out because she's scared

Yang:I know I should give her space, but.....

Qrow:I know kid, trust me I know...

*Both stood there in silence for a few moments, yang was simply racked with guilt. While Qrow was way better handling his, after the things he's done for ozpin? This is just another drop in the bucket*
