*Summer rose asked with an amused expression on her face as in front of her was yang carrying ruby by her shoulders, and ruby grabbing the cookie jar with freshly made cookies. Ruby turned her head and looked at her mother with her mouth stuffed with the chocolate chip delights*

Ruby;run!

*Ruby said in a muffled voice, Yang didn't need to be told twice as she ran away holding ruby for dear life. Summer smile grew as she chased after them quickly grabbing them both, yang tossed ruby who landed on her feet*

Summer: gotcha you little thief!

,*Summer said with grin as she started to tickle yang who laughed*

Ruby:yang!

Yang:run ruby hahaha I'll....i'll distract her! M..mom stop it ahahaha!! Save the cookies!!

*Yang yelled as she struggled to free herself from summer's tickling embrace. Ruby looked at yang and then at the cookies she knew her dad would be here in a few moments to join summer's attack. Ruby huffed and placed the jar down running with her little legs to save her sister*

Ruby: I'll save yang!

*Ruby was taken out of her old memories when the cookie she was dunking broke in half thanks to too much milk. Ruby ate what remained as she looked out the window*

Ruby"should've left her to get tortured by tickling"

Glynda:penny for your thoughts?

Ruby:it's nothing, just thinking about a pathetic weakling

*Ruby thought looking back at her old self with disgust. Ruby grabbed her cup and drank a little of the hot chocolate. She pursed her lips in a light frown. She took her flask out and made a Irish hot chocolate. Glynda saw that and gave a deep frown*

Glynda:you know the negative affects that alcohol has on a child? Your mind is still not fully developed

*Ruby ignored her and drank almost half of the new drink in one gulp before taking a satisfactory sigh*

Ruby:ah, now that just taste right. And to answer your question that doesn't apply to me

Glynda:really and how so?

Ruby:part snake remember? I can regrow body parts including parts of my brain takes a mighty long time to do it though

*Ruby lied not wanting to give who she saw as a enemy anything she can use against her*

Glynda: yes I can imagine, though it's a very impressive ability but I thought only certain reptiles can regenerate like that and snakes aren't one of them

*Ruby took another swing finishing the drink and more importantly making that upcoming memory of Jake to fuzzy to bother her. Glynda almost did a spit take of her tea and looked at ruby*

Glynda:how the hell do you know what that is?

Ruby;they talked about it in that health class I was forced to take

*Ruby said Lying completely since the real reason is something ruby would rather keep locked up at the deepest corner of her mind, blocked by her drinking habits as guards. Glynda sighed and paid the bill*

Glynda:that's enough eating at least until lunch, let's go there so many things you have to buy

*Ruby grumbled as she slides out the booth and walked behind Glynda*

Glynda:hm, if I remember correctly there should be an age appropriate clothes shop for a growing girl your age somewhere

Ruby; lovely can't wait

*Ruby said in a dried tone as she placed her bandana back up and lowered her hat a smidge*

Glynda:while we walk is there anything you would like to talk about? I am a licensed therapy miss rose

Ruby:a quack doctor? Ha! Yeah no. I have my quirks but I don't belong in no looney bin

Glynda:I'm not saying you're crazy miss rose simply that you might find It good for you to let anything you keep hiding out

Ruby:fine, I know you're a fake blonde and that you're chest is fake as hell. Gee your right it does feel better!!

*Ruby said smiling brightly before going back to her neutral slightly angry expression. Glynda hummed not angry as she mentally analyzed ruby*

Glynda"obviously a defense mechanism poor child wonder just what demons are you hiding in that mind of yours

Glynda:oh we're here

*Ruby looked up and her eye twitching as a angry vein popped out of her head the store was a typical preteen shop that was extremely pink*

Ruby;no. Not only no but hell no. I'm not gonna be wearing anything from a shop like this that's final

Glynda: fine, we'll go to another store for regular clothes but we'll just buy you're underwear here in and out 15 minutes

*Ruby let a low growl as she walked inside instantly regretted it as it somehow looked worse on the inside, even more pink. Posters of boy bands, speakers playing the top 20 latest hits. It made ruby want to shed her skin and make a run for it, she kept her head down following Glynda*

Worker:hello can I help you and your daughter out?

*Both Glynda and ruby did a double take looking at the teen part time worker ruby hand went on her hip and cursed under her breath*

Ruby"damn it no guns..."

Ruby: she's not my mother, my mother is dead

*Ruby said in a cold tone that made the poor worker flinch and look extremely nervous but had to keep smiling*

Worker:o..oh I'm so sorry for the misunderstanding

Glynda:is quite alright, forgive her she's very blunt with her tongue. where is you're undergarments section?

Worker:on the end on your left if you see shoes you've gone too far. If you need anything you can come back and ask

*Glynda nodded and walked away with ruby. The worker just being nice waved at them as they left making ruby scowl feeling more frustrated by her*

Glynda: she's just doing her job, no need to bite her head out of her body

Ruby: she shouldn't have assumed nothing. It's bad enough that I can't be left alone I don't need people thinking that someone else is my mother. That would be insulting her memory

*Ruby said with a hint of sadness thinking about her own mother summer rose*

Glynda:she was a fantastic huntress and a dear friend it was a tragedy what happened to her

*That sadness quickly was warped in to disgust as she spat on the ground much to Glynda's annoyance thankfully no one saw it*

Ruby:all that happened was that the world prove that she was a weakling nothing more

Glynda:miss rose that was highly inappropriate your mother died for the greater good

Ruby:oh you're right! My mother died so that we could capture Salem right? Then she must've been caught by now.

*Ruby crossed her arms and gave a small glare at the ground not being able to meet Glynda's gaze*

Ruby:my mother died a weakling. She died for nothing since the fight against Salem is still going on stronger then ever. So tell me witch how is that for the greater good?

*Ruby asked as they made it to the section they were looking for. Glynda sighed and did something that made ruby flinch but didn't pull back, she placed her hand on Ruby's head*

Glynda:many hunters die every day for the greater good. Yes some are corrupt like those you've...dealt with, but overall they're a lot of good ones out there that will give there life for the greater good

Ruby couldn't accept it so she just slapped Glynda's hand away and scoffed*

Ruby:and yet salem still breaths. Grimm are still out there. And my personal favorite slavery is still very much legal in 2 nations. Neutral in this one and frowned upon on the rest. So miss hunter how are there any good hunters when people still suffer? It's a never ending battle that has no winners since you all ignore the people that are screaming for help since they're not people right? There just property

*Ruby said rubbing the 'P' that's branded on her human hand*

*Glynda was about to say in a gentle and understanding tone but ruby was having none of it*

Ruby;just buy what your here to buy and let's go I'm not in the mood

*Ruby said looking through the selection just do end the conversation. Glynda sighed and nodded deciding if best to leave this for another day*
