*Ruby saw ozpin grin and pressed a button, ruby was shot in to the air and in one of the few times since she's been a free outlaw she gave out a high pitch scream like a little girl*

Jake:alright since your old enough time to see what's your semblance and whatever it is you'll know better then to use it against me isn't that right?

*Younger ruby trembled in fear and disgust as Jake placed his hand on her back, she nodded not meeting his gaze*

Ruby:h...how...how are you gonna activate it?

Jake:the same way my papi taught me

*Jake kicked ruby of the plane without a parachute, ruby screamed terrified as she started to cry not wanting to die*

Present

*Ruby's vision returned from that awful memory that was brought back thanks to ozpin. Her face became cold as she activated her semblance transforming in to a small hurricane of rose petals, she went straight to the floor in a superhero landing*

Ruby:mother fucker a warning you've been nice!!

*Ruby touched her head and gave a small unopened scream of frustration as she lost her hat on the fall*

Ruby:your buying me a new hat ozma!!

*Ruby screamed to the cliff she just fell. With a frustrated sigh she took out a small bottle of her cactus juice and took a swing from it Before looking up in the sky*

Ruby:let's see it's midday so the sun is pointing north guess that's the direction I should start walking

*Ruby muttered to herself as she started walking without miracle to keep her company ruby did the only thing she could thing off*

Ruby:When I was but a young woman, I was wild and full of fire A youth within my teens, but full of challenge and desire

*Ruby jumped out of the way of a snake trying to bite her. Ruby kept singing the old song that old pastor friend of her from the Mojave taught her*

Ruby:I ran away from home and left my mother and my dad I know it grieved them so to think their only girl was bad

*Ruby heard growling starting around he and she stopped walking*

Ruby:I fell in with an outlaw band, their names were known quite well How many times we robbed and plundered

*Slowly a group of beowolves started to surround ruby, for her part ruby had her hand on defense's grip not seeing the point to use more then one weapon on such weak creatures*

Ruby: I could never tell
This kind of sinful living leads only to a fall

*Ruby spit in front of her as if telling the Grimm "come get it". The grimm took the invite and started running in sync towards her*

Ruby:I learned that much and more the night I heard my Master call

*Before they could jump ruby shot down 3 of the 5 shooting then all at the same location right in the middle of there eyes. The fourth one managed to get ruby to the ground, making ruby grunt*

Ruby:One night we rustled cattle, a thousand head or so And started them out on the trail that leads to vacuo

*Ruby still sang placing defense right at the mouth of the Grimm shooting it dead, she kicked the lifeless body away crashing to the last surviving beowolf and giving ruby the change to get up and dust herself*

Ruby:But a norther started blowing and lightning flashed about I thought someone was calling me, I thought I heard a shout

*Ruby placed defense back on her holster as she got ready waiting for the beowolf to get up*

Ruby:Then at that moment, lightning struck not 20 yards from me And left there was a giant cross where once there was a tree

*The remaining Grimm was growling glaring at ruby who returned the glare both waiting for the other to make the first move*

Ruby:And this time I knew I heard a voice, a voice so sweet and strange A voice that came from everywhere, a voice that called my name

*The Grimm saw ruby's hand twitch and he jumped, ruby drew her gun as quick as lighting and shot, those watching saw the fire coming out of ruby's gun at least 17 inches of flame as the bullet pierced the last wolf's head right inside it's eye*

Ruby:So frightened I was thinking of sinful deeds I'd done I failed to see the thousand head of cattle start to run

*Ruby blew the smoke off of defense and dipped her head at the animals before she kept walking north*

Ruby:The cattle they stampeded, were running all around My pony ran but stumbled, and it threw me to the ground
I felt the end was near, that death would be the price When a mighty bolt of lightning showed the face of Jesus Christ...

Scene change

*Ruby's been walking for at least 2 hours, when she found a cave*

Ruby:i guess this should be the place

*Ruby said to herself as she walked inside, the deeper she walked inside the darker it got until it felt as if the sun was swallowed by the darkness. Ruby took out her lighter and flicked it open giving her a little bit of light, she could barely see a foot ahead of her but she made it work. After what seemed like forever she found the light again*

Ruby: seriously? Y'all placed the chess piece right under the light like it was some sort or ancient relic?

*Ruby said with a roll of her eyes as she used her semblance to reach the top without problems. She grabbed it and the second she took it out of the mantle a huge earthquake happens that made ruby slip and fall on her back taking the wind out of her lungs, and made her see double. When her vision returned to her she looked up and her eyes widen in fear at what she saw*

In the school

*Everyone saw ruby's body start to tremble and she cowering back, in the screen a small square appeared the face of professor oobleck*

Oobleck:hello my students what your seeing here is a natural prey vs predator relationship. For those who don't know since they didn't do there homework mr. Arc I'm looking at you. birds are one of the natural predators of snakes, giving ruby is a snake faunus, science dictates that she must have a irrational fear of large birds like Blake has for dogs

Blake:hey!! I'm not afraid of dogs

Jaune:and I did to my homework!!

Blake:.....jaune don't get involved with me it will make me look guilty since I know you didn't

Jaune:but....

Yang:will you both shut the fuck up?!

*Yang said angry, both noticed that wasn't her usual angry tone there was a hint of something, something they don't see yang Xiao long have often, fear. They both looked at there teammate who was hugging herself, digging her nails so deep in to her skin blood was coming out. Her face was glued to the TV terrified of loosing her sister again*

Yang:come on ruby....

With ruby

*Ruby's heart was pounding each time harder, her tail rattling almost as fast of her heart as sweat started falling from her brow. as the bird's head moved side to side but eyes never leaving ruby's sight, ruby glanced down, her guns escaped her holster when she fell and were in the middle of the cave. The nevermore looked down as if he could tell what ruby was planning. They both looked back up at each other, as ruby's mouth felt dry, she squinted her eyes and went in to action, she used her semblance to reach her guns and turned around just in time for the bird to eat her whole*

In the school

Yang:RUBY!!!

*yang's hair turned on fire as she ran as fast as she could to that location, using her guns to jump in to the air and fly there*

With ozpin

Ozpin:shame, she had such promise...

*Ozpin said with a sigh, giving a small prayer to the girl and to his old friend*

Ozpin"well summer at least you'll be reunited with your daughter"

Back with ruby

*We see the nevermore grumping as it fell to the ground, smoke coming out of every hole of its body, that's when to the surprise of everyone and the excitement of specifically Nora the huge bird exploded, ruby stumbled out of the carcass of the bird steam coming out of her as chunks of the nevermore stuck to her body, self amd defense were so hot there tips were orange almost on fire as, ruby grabbed the chess piece and showed it to the Camara*

Ruby: where do you want me to give this do you? If you want I can ram it right up where the sun don't shine ozpin

*Ruby said with a small grin eyes vision blurry from overusing her silver eyes, as ruby slowly walked out of the cave and went in to the direction of beacon*

Ruby: For....for....forgiven by the love of God, a....a....a love that will remain I gave my life and soul the night the Saviour called my name...
