She is busy giggling at the advances of those around her, "how am I going to get her attention ?". I see the green-eyed Greek god from before joining her and I nearly screech. Now that I see them together they sort of look alike, I have twenty minutes left to get her out of here without anyone noticing. This is bad and I'm just standing here doing nothing.

        I glance at my watch, I blow out some air to cool off the steam building up in my lungs. I can do this "I got this". I hear a small crackle from behind me and a hand holds my arm pulling me back. He buries his head into my neck and whispers into my ear

    "This is painful to watch " 

  
    I immediately recoil, this little....well he is not wrong, anyone watching would think I'm some teenager trying to confess her feelings to a crush.  An exceptionally hot crush in my defense. He holds my shoulder and rubs it gently, the look of contempt doesn't leave his face. He smiles and adjusts his tuxedo "At least you are good with guns ". I can't believe this little .....again he's not wrong but still why does he have to be a prick about it.

  "  I miss Jason"

       He laughs "But you guys are the same ".  I glance at my watch again "We have twelve minutes " I tell him.  He turns his neck to me and flashes a wide smile showing off his perfect teeth." I'll need only five minutes, finish up with her father  " he orders. I roll my eyes, so fucking cocky and full of himself.

"Did you just roll your eyes at your boss?"

 " Ten minutes Mister C E O "

       The nerve of this man, seriously. He chuckles and leaves my side, he walks up to Camilla and her eyes brighten immediately she sees him,  Could it be? "No" Daniel wouldn't play such dirty tricks on me like that. Would he? No, he wouldn't risk a mission just for a laugh. In mere seconds she begins to giggle at whatever that womanizer is saying to her. She batters her lashes and bites down on her lower lip.

     
        She puts her hand on his chest and I swear she starts giving him the look. She places a hand on her waist with a glass of wine in the other balancing her body on her stilleto. Daniel's looks would make anyone glance in his direction. His chiseled jaw, crystal blue eyes, gorgeous dark hair, and amazing body would make anyone look just not ME.

    I grab a glass of wine and I immediately gulp it down like it is some shot, my eyes are fixated on them I wouldn't want to miss a bit of whatever you would call this. I reach for the second glass from the tray the server offers to me. A hand swoops it up before I can take it.

 
"   Eliza, do you want to get drunk? " a familiar voice asks. I turn around to confirm my suspicion. "Jason ?" what the hell is he doing here? 

     He shoos the server away and steps next to me still with glass in hand. He runs his hand through his thick brown hair and lands his olive eyes on me. He whispers something but I don't hear it fully.

"What did you say?"

    He scuffles " Nothing". He looks over at Daniel and smiles " Wasn't that your job? " he asks. I refuse to answer this, my ego is already bruised and battered. He hands me a rose and I take it. "They asked me to give it to you," he says. I see Daniel leave with Camilla, this is probably the world record for wooing women because WOW  just five minutes. I reach for the glass in Jason's hand but he resists.

  "Jason Cmon"

  "NO"

       I see him roll his eye, so sassy I take back what I said about missing him. "You have seven minutes Eliza," he tells me and takes a sip of the wine.

   Knowing he won't give in  I turn to the stairs. Time to find her father.  I reach the top of the stairs and I immediately see him. I call out to him but he doesn't answer, I take a few safe steps closer  "Mister Nester".
He turns around and our eyes meet, his smile disappears and he eyes me up and down. He notices the rose in my hand and comes forward. As prepared I say what is required of me. I stretch forth the rose

  "  The chamber has decided Mister Nester you have two days to decide how your debt will be repaid "

      He looks at me and laughs hysterically " What do you mean? " he asks. I pull back my hand and stick the rose in my pocket.
I am familiar with this denial, they all do it, even I did. I adjust my glasses and I turn to the stairs. If I leave now without him taking this role he will be in a lot of trouble and his daughter will be the one to pay for it. I'll make him understand one last time.

   I turn back to him," Mister Nester ....the Rose Chamber sent you this " his eyes widen and he comes closer.  This reaction is expected, those three words made grown men kneel and plead for mercy.

     He stretches his hand forward showing his palm, his face turns white and he starts to quiver. I place the rose in his hand and I turn to the stairs. I hear him let out a large cry as I got to the bottom of the stairs. I don't stop. I swing open the main entrance glass doors and I see Jason waiting at the bottom of the stairs. I let out a sigh of relief  I can finally get some rest and prepare for my presentation tomorrow, he waves me over and pulls the car door open. I hear people humming and footsteps behind me.

      "Get her! "  they yell.

    Jason frowns and hurries up the stairs, Bang! A large sound fills the air, and I feel something pierce my side, I look down and I see blood oozing from my flank.
