JJ's POV:

"Shit he's hot I mumbled to myself slamming my suitcase on my new king-sized bed.

Surprisingly the room was decent. okay, really decent, and so was the roommate,

Ben Killian .

Except for the fact that the guy couldn't help but stare at my body like every other male specimen

I've ever met, he was Attractive

Like super attractive.

"Focus," I said to myself unpacking my stuff.

"Hey, new roommate," Ben said walking into my room.

I had just finished unpacking my stuff and was at that moment staring at a wall thinking.

"Did you not see the sign on the door the one that said knock before you come in" I declared

Glaring at him, in anger.

I had rented this room out for peace not to be disturbed when trying to meditate.

(and because my new school happened to be seven minutes away ).

"Do you want some cookies roomie?" he asked ignoring me and holding out a tray of delicious smelling, blue cookies

"There Blue " I stated

"I know made them blue " he replied smirking

"Why"

"Because blue food tastes better "

"Idiot" I muttered grabbing one and shoving it into my mouth

"Mmmm" I moaned quietly closing my eyes savouring the crumbly chocolatey taste

It was so good.

"Is it good?" he asked when I opened my eyes, smiling.

He looked so eager to impress me his, emerald green eyes shining in anticipation

"You didn't even ask if I was allergic to anything," I said, grabbing another cookie and munching on it to hide the grin that was about to escape.

"I wanna get to know more about you" Ben coughed out, leading me into his living room

And sitting down on his red couch.

He had just finished giving me a tour of the gigantic flat, and we were currently in the living room.

"why?"I asked, sitting down next to him.

"Well your my new roommates " he replied shrugging his shoulders

"so?"

" and, I like making new friends"

I snorted "who said I wanted to be friends with you"

He blushed madly " sorry I-i um" he stuttered looking at anything but me.

His green eyes looked hurt for a moment and I felt myself feeling sorry for him.

"I'm just joking "I joked,

Why was it for me such a struggle to be nice to people?.

"But on a serious note," I continued, you won't want to be friends with me. as you may have already noticed I'm not friendly"

"I know"

"And I love making people uncomfortable "

"I know"

"And i am quite rude if i do say so myself"

"I know!" he chuckled staring into my eyes

I gulped remaining eye contact with his beautiful eyes, letting myself get lost in them.

He was close and I could smell his salty sea scent.

His smell reminded me of happy days at the beach, the days before everything went dark and ugly.

"Do you still want to be friends ?" I asked distracting myself from my sad thoughts

"Yes" he grinned
