I was elated to see Lucy back safe and unharmed. ( not counting the rock she tripped over). She looked exhausted as she worked through the night. She looked through every dusty tome trying to read the ancient foreign texts.

She scrunched her nose and stuck her tongue out trying to concentrate.

Eventually she gave up trying to read and flopped onto the couch with a huff.

I chuckled finding it cute how she acts when she was angry or frustrated.

I pat a spot on the bed and beckoned her to lie down with me.

Smirking, she sashayed her way over to me. With a deep passionate kiss, Lucy curled up real close to me and fell asleep.
