Episode 14: Bloodstone part 2
(Bloodstone's POV)
I watched as the star systems sped past my escape pod. I knew for sure that someone would follow me. But I didn't care. All that mattered is that I catch Jasper and shatter her before she did anything else to blame on me. The window started to turn red and as I looked up from the controls, I saw a flame engulfing my view of the Earth. I don't know why but I said to myself,
"I have entered the Earth's atmosphere. Brace for impact." I smiled. Suddenly the flames disappeared and I saw trees right below me. I pulled the stick up as hard as possible (without breaking it) and tried to slow my decent. I landed softly onto the grass and turned off my escape pod. I exited the pod and looked around at my surroundings. Trees stretched out in all directions and to my left, I thought I could see a beach. I started toward it when something glittered in the corner of my eye. I looked at it and saw a strange crystal platform embedded into the earth. What is that? I asked myself. I walked over to it. I had a nice sheen to it and it looked like a big gem. I stepped onto it. It seemed ok. I stepped off of it and walked down a slope to find a lone Gem. I stop. It looked almost like an Amethyst but larger and the darkest hair I've ever seen on an Amethyst. I decided to avoid her just in case. I walked along a dirt path and run into another Gem. She attacked me with no reason so I grabbed her. I turned into my cursed form.
"Stop!" I say my voice turning coarse. I lean down smoke curling off me. This gem was a Jasper, but not a Jasper I've seen. I smile.
"So who are you?" I say with a malicious smile. She shakes beneath my grip.
"Ummm...m. I..I...uhh," She stammers, "I am a...a Jasper and...I....I have lived on Earth since before....th..the war."
I smile and touch my head with hers fusing in an instant. I don't know why.
(Dragons-Blood Jasper's POV)
I look around. Perfect, I say to myself. I start looking around for the Jasper. It suddenly occurred to me that she never left Magenta Diamond's planet in the first place. I race back to the pod, only to find it is too small for me. I growl under my breath. Why isn't this Jasper fighting back, I think, smiling. Suddenly I sense a presence behind me. I turn to find another strange Gem there. She was yellow in colour with pure black hair. She had a long plat, that almost touched her feet and pointed ears on the top of her head. She was lithe and looked as if she could win any battle unscathed. Her weapon was a long spear and the blade part was pinkish. I drew my weapon a sythe with a long whip coming from the end of the blade. I breathe. This is it. I had a sudden feeling of coming undone.
(Bloodstone's POV)
I fall to the ground. I get to my feet and stagger over to where the Jasper should have been. I saw a glinter and looked over to it. With horror I saw that there was a shard of Jasper's gem on the floor. With a sudden shock of realisation I thought that anyone who fused with me, would pay the price of being shattered afterwards. I didn't want this for anyone. I take one more look at the Gem and then get to my feet, turn my back, the run away from her. Away from everyone. I had to protect everyone from me.
(Aragonite's POV)
I looked around the room. An iron door blocked my way out. It would be easy to cut that door, but to escape this place would be the tricky part. I summon my blades and push one through the door. I created a opening in the doorway and slowly crept out. Bloodstone was standing a few ways down from me, with her back turned, so I crept down the tunnel to my left. Smoke was everywhere. It mostly came from the torches. I felt a presence behind me. I turn around to find Bloodstone standing there looking at me. I blink.
"Hey there," She said with a quiet voice, "you're awake."
"What do you want." I say bitterly.
"I just want to ask you some questions." She said putting her hands up.
"Well you went the wrong way about it," I said looking down the tunnel, "and why do you want to ask me questions?"
"I just want to know if you've seen a Jasper recently."
"I've seen three." I say.
"Well did one of them look like an Amethyst type?" She asked.
"Yes." I said
"With a whip as her 'weapon'?"
"Yes."
"And a gem on her face."
"uwu."
"What does that mean?"
"It means yes." I said smirking.
"When did you last see her."
I tried to remember.
"At the Beta kindergarten." I said. Bloodstone looked at me.
"Thanks," She said, "follow me."
I followed Bloodstone down the tunnel. We went back up the tunnel and back to the cell door. We went down the other tunnel, the one I saw Bloodstone in earlier. The more we walked down the passage, the more the smoke thinned out and I saw where it was coming from. Small dips in the walls held stones that glowed and also spat out smoke at the same time.
"Don't mind the glowstone, I can't help that it keeps giving off smoke," said Bloodstone, "but these ones are old, they still glow as brightly as when they were put in, but they lost their smoke over time."
I looked at the shining stones. They cast a bright yellowy hue across the cave tunnel as we walked. The warm yellow light comforted me and it sort of reminded me of my moon-planet.
Bloodstone looked at me with a gentle smile. She didn't seem all bad. She was just a little freaky at times. I tuned to her.
"So tell me why you are looking for a Jasper of that description," I said, "and don't leave out any details."
Bloodstone nodded and told me the whole thing.
"I understand now," I said, "but that still doesn't explain why you abducted me here."
"I said I was sorry about that," Bloodstone said, "but how else were I supposed to bring you here without being poofed?"
"You have a point there." I said looking to the ground. Bloodstone chuckled.
"It's fine," she said, "it was nice meeting you."
"Same here."
"Bu-bye."
I looked back to see Bloodstone waving at me. She was nice. I hoped we would meet back someday. I walked along the sand path that led away from Bloodstone's cave. Before long, I reached a lush green forest filled with plants that I had never seen before. I took a moment to admire them. It was amazing what the Earth could do. Suddenly, I had a feeling like something was wrapped around my legs. The feeling crept up my body almost reaching my chest. I looked down to see thick vines wrapping themselves around me. I fought with them and they kept getting tighter. Then I heard a voice,
"Stop!"
I saw a Gem as green as the forest in front of me. I gasped. There were more Gems out there. My eyes grew wide as three more Gems stepped out from the bushes. One was bright yellow, one was sky blue and the other was pale yellow-orange.
"Who are you?"
