Episode 1: Making friends.
(Aragonite's POV)
I wished I was with other Gems, getting to know them and making friends. To know how life as a Gem really worked. To make some fusions and creating a bond that will never be broken, no matter what. And to do that I needed to be with other Gems.
But no. I am stuck in a place no one can visit. The only window to the real world was the mirror in front of me.
There was nothing to do. Just bookshelves, a desk which held some kind of weird pot, a bed and the mirror. The only thing I could do was read and practice her skills. So far I had summoned my weapon about five tomes in a row and learnt how to shapeshift into some birds, some cats, a fox and some other reptiles. I didn't want to try shapeshifting into objects because I thought it wasn't necessary. Someone set me free! I thought to myself.
No one came to even see me. Not for at least more than a hundred years, as far as I could tell. Until now.
Suddenly the mirror lit up and I ran over to it. What I saw astounded me. Four figures were standing on what looked like a warp pad. They all had their backs to me.
"HELP! SOMEONE HELP!" I yelled. No one answered me. I sighed. I wasn't going to be free anytime soon. Then the figures split up, apparently looking for something. Then one of them, a boy, saw my mirror and went over to it. On his side the mirror gave a big flash and when he gained his sight back he gasped. To him a girl was sitting on her bed looking at him through the mirror.
'Don't worry I'll help you." The boy seemed to be saying. Then one of the other figures came over to my mirror. I gasped. Garnet! There was no way I was getting out now. I sighed and went back to lay on my bed.
Looking over at my mirror I saw Garnet talking to the boy.
'You can't trust her. We don't even know who she is." Garnet seemed to be saying.
'Thats why we have to set her free! Said the boy.
'No! We can't.' Said Garnet.
Why not! Thought I bitterly, though Garnet never said why.
'At least take the mirror with us.' The boy argued. My hopes lifted as Garnet nodded. I looked over at the other two figures. They both looked familiar. Then it hit me. Pearl and Amethyst! I should have known!
Suddenly the world on the other side of the mirror moved and I guessed I was looking at the ceiling. The light returned and a minute later I was in another place I had never seen before. I flopped on my bed sighing heavily. I closed my eyes and soon drifted off to sleep.
I woke with a start. A bright light from the mirror had woken me. I got up and walked to it. The boy seemed to notice I was awake and came over to the mirror. He breathed on the glass and wrote something in the mist.
'Hi. My name is Steven. Whats yours?' He wiped it off just as I finished reading it. Then I breathed on the glass and wrote, 'My name is Aragonite. I have been trapped her for a hundred years by Rose Quartz herself. Please find a way to set me free. Please!' I gave it a few moments to let Steven read my message before he nodded and I wiped it off. Then something on his side caught my eye. I looked at it closely. Then gasped. It was another one of those strange pots! I ran over to the desk with my pot and brought it over to the mirror. Steven looked confused and looked at the pot suspiciously. I pointed to my pot and then at his pot. He turned around and saw it the nodded at me and he went to get it. While he was doing that I went over to my bookshelf and pulled out one of the books about these strange pots like mine. I read it and then looked determinedly at Steven. If I wanted to talk to him I knew what I had to do. I sighed. Again. A single knife was left inside the pot. I pulled it out and pointed to it not taking my eyes off Steven. He nodded and ran down the stairs to get his own knife. He ran back to the mirror and nodded to me.
I looked through my desk draws and found what I was looking for. A strange golden ball. I put it down and then held out my hand with the knives blade pointed to my palm. I gestured for Steven to do the same. I then gripped the blade and with a swift movement made a small cut in my hand and let myself bleed into the pot. Steven did the same and screwed up his face at the pain. His blood made the pot glow a strange purple and as I looked so did mine.
I grabbed the golden ball and dropped it into the pot. The pot glowed for a second then diminished and there was nothing left in there. I looked up and saw Steven turn his pot upside down and catch the strange ball. He saw the button on the side and pushed it. There was a golden glow and when it faded a little golden dragon statue stood in Steven's hands.
"Uh what!" Said a voice from the mirror. I laughed.
"What it speaks!" He said almost dropping it.
"No," I said, "look at the mirror silly."
Steven looked at the mirror. I then spoke repeating my name.
"My name is Aragonite."
