A/N: It's the moment you've been waiting for! But before this chapter starts... WARNING! EXTREME FLUFF AHEAD! Ok you can read it now :P Also, another head cannon is that the skelebros' house looks the exact same as it did in the Underground cause they really liked their old home. And and there's also a Grillby's on the surface too.

After only two days Mettaton decided to tell Papyrus how he felt about him. So, after getting directions to the skelebros house, he went to pay them a visit. As he neared their house, Mettaton began to feel very nervous. Even though he was so nervous that he could turned around then and there, he HAD gone this far, so he might as well tell Papyrus. Soon, the extremely nervous robot was at the skelebros' house. "Wow, it seems like a very cozy home.", Mettaton thought as he stood in front of the door. Then, he knocked on their door. At first, no one came to answer the door, so the robot knocked again. This time, the door was opened by no other than Sans. "Uh... What are you doing?", Sans asked, looking very confused. "Well, I wanted to see how you and your brother were doing.", Mettaton answered. The robot then spotted Papyrus looking at the door from the upstairs balcony. "Oh, hello, Mettaton!", Papyrus said cheerfully while coming down the stairs. "Well, I guess I'll just go to Grillby's, see you later.", Sans said, while Mettaton backed out of the doorway to let Sans walk out the door. Now, it was just Papyrus and Mettaton. "Would you like to come in?", asked Papyrus. "Oh! W-well, sure.", said Mettaton, his cheek dusted with a light pink. The robot then walked in, finding that the house was, in fact, very cozy. "You can sit down if you'd like.", Papyrus said, sitting down on the green couch. "O-oh, ok.", said Mettaton, sitting down. The two were now sitting in an awkward silence. Papyrus was the first to break said silence. "H-hey, um, Mettaton?", he asked. "U-um, y-yes Papyrus? Mettaton asked nervously. "I-I... um... have something... I wanted to tell you...", Papyrus said, sounding more and more nervous by the minute. "W-what is it?", the robot said, wondering what Papyrus was wanting to tell him. "This m-may s-sound crazy, b-but... I-I... umm... love you...", said Papyrus, blushing dark orange. Mettaton almost couldn't believe his nonexistent ears! "I understand if y-you don't-", Papyrus began, but was interrupted by Mettaton hugging him affectionately. "I'm so glad that you said that! I-I love you too!", said Mettaton while still hugging Papyrus. "R-really?!", he said, sounding awestruck. "Why of course! I find you really cute!", the happy robot said releasing Papyrus, who looked as if he was about to cry with the amount of joy he was feeling. "I'm so happy that you feel the same towards me the way I feel towards you!", he said, hugging Mettaton. Metton just hugged him back, feeling very,very happy. Suddenly,the robot felt a hand stroke his hair, which caused him to lean into that hand. "Oh! I'm sorry," said Papyrus pulling his hand away. I-I'll stop...", he said nervously. "No, you don't have to, it actually felt kinda nice.", said the robot, trying to assure Papyrus that he didn't really mind the skeleton touching his head. "O-oh, really?", the skeleton said, stroking Mettaton's hair again. Mettaton's only response was leaning into Papyrus' hand again, closing his eyes as he did. Soon, Papyrus accidentally stroked a spot that would be a little above Mettaton's left ear, if the was an ear there. In response, Mettaton started purring literally like a robotic kitten."O-oh, er, Mettaton, I didn't know you could literally purr like a cat!", Papyrus said, startled slightly. "W-well, to be honest, I didn't either, but, umm... could you do that again? It felt really nice.", the robot said, blushing slightly at the last part. "Oh, why, of course!", Papyrus said, petting Mettaton in the same spot again, causing the robot to purr like a robotic cat again. After a while, Papyrus moved his hand to where the purring robot's head joined his neck. This caused Mettaton to purr even louder than he was before while leaning into Papyrus' hand. The skeleton chuckled softly at Mettaton's reaction.

Author's POV:  It wasn't long after Papyrus had started making Mettaton purr like a cat for Mettaton to fall asleep. It didn't take very long for Papyrus to realize that the robot had fallen asleep. "Well, I guess I'll let him sleep for a bit before calling Alphys.", Papyrus thought, lovingly looking at the sleeping robot. It had been only a couple of minutes after thinking that when Sans cam home, startling Papyrus a little. "S'up, Pap-", Sans started, but stopped when he noticed that Mettaton was still at his and Papyrus' house. "Uh... Why is Mettaton still here and sleeping on you?", Sans asked,confused. "Well, you know how I have a crush on Mettaton?", Papyrus asked his brother, not really answering his brother's question. "Uh...yeah...what about it?", Sans asked, more confused than he already was. "Well, it seems that Mettaton has a crush on me, too!", Papyrus said happily. Sans just stared for a minute before saying. "Wow, I'm happy for you Paps!", Sans said happily. "But, if that glittery trash can hurts my bro, he's gonna have a BAD time!", Sans thought to himself. As he walked up the stairs to his room, his eye flared cyan for a split second before returning back to normal. An hour later, Papyrus called Aphys to come get Mettaton.

A/N: Welp, it looks like Mettaton likes cuddling and Sans is very protective of his bro, but not as protective as he is in other fanfics. Hope you all enjoyed!
