He pulled me out and crossed his arms. "What are you doing?" "Helping out and doing my job." I said and he rolled his eyes. "You do know she's gonna get operated on in 3 days right?" He said and I looked back at (Y/N). "Why can't we keep her alive?" "Excuse me? Are you even listening to yourself? She's crazy." "She's fine. Just needs a friend." "Right, and that makes you her what? Boy-friend?" He a self and I started to get red. "What? No. I don't think she can even be with me without burning me." "Admit it, Evan. You have a crush on her." He said and I looked at her again. She was smiling while on Violets phone. Jon was right, she was beautiful but dangerous. "Can we stay with the subject?" "Fine." He said and looked like he thought about it. "About her staying, she can't." "Why?" "Because do you want her to burn everything she touches? What about the brake room?" "What about it?" "Tyler's gonna lose his shit once he finds out all the chips are burned." He said and I rolled my eyes. "Tyler needs to grow up." I said and he nodded. "I'll agree but Evan the girl is a no." "C'mon Del, besides you're not even the boss." "No but I know Lui won't accept. Goodbye." He said and walked away. I secretly flipped him off. I walked in the tent and saw no sign of (Y/N), just violet. "Where is she?" I asked and violet pointed to (Y/N) walking out in a sorta pinkish jacket with a white tank top underneath, blue jeans, and black sneakers with her hair in a pony tail. In all honesty she looked even hotter. "Why is she dressed like that?" "I want you to take her for a night out on the town." She said and my eyes widened. "Your joking right? She can't leave the facility." I said and she pointed to the loading dock. "Take her out there. I'll deal with the rest." She said and pushed is both out. She walked next to me as we walked to the loading dock. "So, how is the city?" She asked, starting a conversation. "It's boring, could use a bit of fun you know?" "No." She said and I chuckled, helping her over the wall. "Well, the city is uptight knowing there are different people among them." I said and she helped me up. "Well, I hear you. I guess we can try to have fun. C'mon!" She said and ran to the city. "(Y/N), wait!" I said as I chase after her.
~Time Skip~
She ran all the way to a private park on the edge of town. "What are we doing here? This is a-" I was cut off when I saw her standing near the pond. Her skin glowed organize as she watched a butterfly fly by her and she tried to catch it. She walked by the pond and saw how she made it glow. She put her hand above it and I was about to stop her when it started to bubble. She made a hot tub. I walked over and touched the water, it was a perfect temperature. "How did you?" I asked but she stepped in the water, with her clothes on. "C'mon then." She smiled and pulled me in. I fell over to her and landed on her. We blushed and I got off. "Sorry." I apologized but she smiled. "It's fine. Like the water?" "Very, how do you do that?" "I don't know. Perhaps it's because I'm happy with you." She smiled and I laughed. "This is perfect. Do you see this all the time?" She asked. "No. I've been in that facility for god knows how long." I said looking up at the stars. I got out of the water and laid out grass. "What are you doing?" She asked standing over me. I patted the ground next to me and she laid there looking at me. She stared at my wet clothes and then me then she hugged me, turning orange but not burning me. She dried my clothes and turned normal, but still hugging me. "Look up." I said and she did, her (E/C) eyes sparkled as she watched them. "Wow.." She whispered. I sat up and she did too. "What does it feel like? To have power?" I asked and she looked to the side. "It's like, carrying a baby. You won't to snuggle it and use it to get people to hold it and stuff but at the same time you don't want to scare it or anyone else, and most of all hurt it." She said and looked at her hands. "What surprises me is that they picked me. Of all people to be that one Fire." She said and started at the sky, I wish I was like them. Like you." She bled and I held her hand. "I wish I was like you. I would burn down this building so fast if it wasn't fire proof." I joked and she giggled. "Here." She said and took a pebble, tapping it on her stone and breaking a piece. She then took a vine and made it into a necklace. I put it on and watched as her stone healed up. "We could really just take pieces?" I asked and she nodded. "Only I can." She corrected me. "I want you to have rant and keep it safe. Don't show it to anyone!" She said and I nodded. "You have my word." I promised and she hugged me. "You're the nicest person I've ever met. Besides being a scientist." She giggled and I laughed. She pulled back from the hug and stared at me. Her (E/C) orbs piercing my brown ones. "Can I try something?" I asked and she held up her hand. I held mine up to hers and held it. I stared leaning in and she did too. Soon I connected my lips to her soft, warm pink ones.
