Aurora's POV

I walked up to my vault. I went ahead before everyone else went, so I could get some money. I was at the door of my vault, when I saw a little purple dragon laying next to the doors. I looked to make sure no one else was around before turning to the dragon. "Nova." I cooed. "Nova. Nova." Her ears twitched a little bit. Soon her eyes opened. She stood up and stretched. She walked over to me and nuzzled her head in my chest. I gave her a smile. I walked over to the vault doors and placed my hand on it. My eyes and hair began to glow gold. I removed my hand and the door started to open. I walked in the vault, grabbed some money and walked out. I got into the cart, with a very rude goblin, and rode back up to Gringotts. As I got out of the cart and walked to the main room, there was a big commotion. A little black lion cub running around with a few goblins and people chasing it.

"Don't hurt him!" A girl said, following the crowd. I saw the Weasley twins trying to help catch the lion cub as well. I looked up and saw the rest of the Weasleys, as well as Harry, Hermione and her family. I shook my head. I snapped my fingers and the ones chasing the lion instantly froze. I snapped my fingers again and they, and everyone else in the way moved to the sides of the room, and the ones I froze became unfrozen. They tried to chase after the lion again, but I spoke.

"Stay back." My voice was strong, and spoke with a little bit of demand. They did, but we're confused.

"Why should we listen to you?" Someone said. "That thing is a dangerous animal."

"And you're no different by chasing it like wild horses!" I growled. "If a lion feels threatened it will do one of two things. Attack, or call for help. And trust me, a full grown lion is much more dangerous than a cub." I sat on my knees and threw my bag far from me. I took my wand out of my pocket and also threw it from me. The lion looked at me confused before looking at the wand, then back at me. It slowly walked up to me, slowly and steadily. "Hello little one. I'm Aurora. What's your name?" The lion froze when I said my name and walked to me a little faster.

'Larasonna.'

"Well Larasonna, what are you doing here?"

'My master, Seraphina, was coming here to get money out of her vault. It was my first time coming with her, so I was a little scared. Then one of the ugly people growled at me and I got scared and ran.' Larasonna got close enough and I picked her up. I stood up and started petting her.

"Well Larasonna, it's true that some people can be mean and ugly, but you can't run for like that. You or someone else could have gotten very hurt." Larasonna looked down. A few people walked up that I recognized from the ministry.

"We'll take it from here." They said. I backed up, preventing them to grab Larasonna.

"No thanks." I said. Now, most people would do as they say, but I wasn't most people. Naturally, there were a lot of gasps in the crowd when I said no to them.

"Kid, just give us the animal."

"And if I refuse?" Everyone's eyes were on me and the ministry workers. They got out their wands. "How rude." A girl started running up to us and stood in front of me.

"You would dare attack a second year?" She asked. Her white hair with grey highlights were in a ponytail. She turned to me. She was wearing all black, so I didn't see much skin. She also wore a blindfold. She grabbed Larasonna, who instantly started nuzzling her. She turned back to the ministry workers, walked in between them, and walked out. Your welcome. Ungrateful little- I turned back to the ministry workers and snapped my fingers. My wand and bag flew over to me. I grabbed them, put them away, and I walked to the Weasleys. Hermione, Ron, and Percy had their mouths wide open. The twins were laughing at them, and Harry looked genially confused, and covered in soot? Did I miss something? Hermione grabbed me by the arm and pulled into a hug.

"Why would you do that?" She whispered.

"Cause I'm an idiot." I whispered back. She laughed a little and released me from the hug. Everyone began walking to Flourish & Blotts. What we didn't know, was that we were about to meet the biggest idiot in history.
