Chapter 1
Aurora's POV
I woke up to the sound of tapping on the window. I turned over to Ginny to see her fast asleep. When Ginny wakes up, she usually taps on the window to wake me up, because she knows that it annoys me. I look at the window to see an owl. A school owl. I got out of bed as the bloody bird continued to tap on the glass. "I'm coming. I'm coming, you bloody bird." It was still early in the morning even though the sun was rising. I opened the window and the owl flew over my bed, dropped the letter, and flew out. I shut the window, grabbed the letter and walked downstairs to see a furious Molly talking to an angered Tundra. I walked over to them, afraid to asked what happened. I stood in between Red and Luna, who were watching the two talk. "What happened?" I asked cautiously. The two turned to me before Molly answered.
"Ron, Fred, and George took the car and drove to Privet Drive to get Harry!" She said in complete rage, before turning back to Tundra. I nodded before walking slowly into the family room and sitting on the sofa. Luna and Red followed me, but didn't get on the couch. They started to play on the floor, which looked so cute btw. I smiled before looking at the letter, which caused my smile to grow bigger. It was from Lucy. I tore open the letter and began to read.
"Dear Aurora,
How are you. I am doing quite well myself, but am really tired. Yesterday we had to pack all our belongings because we are going home today. I'm so happy, because I'll get to see my mom again. I hope you are doing well. Me and the others can't wait to see you again and to go back to Narnia. After we left, Susan started to give up hope that we would go back, but me, Edmund, and Peter haven't. Susan and Edmund say Peter wants to go back so he can feel like he isn't treated like a child. We keep telling him we are kids, that we're not special in this world, but he won't listen. He's been getting into a lot of more fights recently, too. I'm worried about him. He's not the Magnificent King that we knew in Narnia anymore. If you have time, could you please send him a letter and talk to him. Edmund has also changed too. He stopped teasing me, like he did before we went to Narnia, and is also trying to help us in anyway he can when we need help. I think the housekeeper is glad we are leaving. Every time Athena comes to bring us a letter, see leaves a little present, a dead mouse, for the housekeeper in her room. She tries to blame us, but the Professor that we are staying with says that she can't blame us until she has proof. We all find this very funny. I'm not sure how mom will react to us being royals. We haven't told her yet, and the others think I should ask you to see what you think, so. Should we tell her? Well, we have to get to the train station now to head home for a little bit, then we are going to head to school. It's not fair. We just get home to see our mom, then we have to leave again. I can't wait to get another letter from you.
Your Friend, Lucy."
I smiled, but my face turned to concern when I read about Peter. I grabbed a quill, ink, and four pieces of paper.
"Dear Lucy,
I am doing quite well, thank you for asking. I can't wait to see you either, and I know we will go back to Narnia soon. Just have faith. I will deal with Susan, as well as Peter. And don't say you aren't special in this world. You are very special. Everyone has a purpose in their world, and I know that you belong in this world, just as much as you belong in Narnia. Even more maybe. I'm sure you are very worried for Peter, but he's a teenager. When you get to his age, you'll be the same, maybe. I'm glad Edmund has changed. He's a good brother, but I'm sure you already knew that. I hope you aren't getting into to much trouble with the housekeeper, but I'm glad Athena could help. I don't think you should tell your mother that you are royals, she might think you're crazy. I know it's hard not to see you parent for so long, then have to leave them again. It's hard, it really is. Good luck with school, and do your best.
Your friend, Aurora."
I wrote other letters to Susan, Edmund and Peter. Peter's was a little long then the others, because I was scolding him. I gave a small whistle to Athena, who flew on my shoulder, waiting to get the letters. As I was about to give them to her, the door opened, and in walked Ron, George, Fred and Harry. They didn't notice me, so I decided to make myself known. "Well I hope you had fun." I said. They turned to me, shock on all of their faces. I turned to Harry. "Alright there, Harry?" He nodded. "Good." I turned back to the redheads, my arms crossed and a look of disapproval on my face.
"Aurora, please don't tell mum." Ron pleaded. A small smirk formed on my face. I gave the letters to Athena, and opened the window so she could fly out.
"Don't worry, I won't tell Molly." I said. I could hear the redheads sigh in relief. I turned back to them. "She already knows." And right as I said that, Molly walked into the family room looking furious. I didn't need to look in a mirror to tell my smile grew. This wasn't the first time the boys got told off in front of me, and I knew it wasn't the last, but I couldn't help but to laugh at the boy's suffering.
"WHERE HAVE YOU BEEN!" She looks over at Harry and gives him a smile. "Harry! How wonderful to see you." She looks back at the boys. "Beds empty! No note! You could've died! You could've been seen!" She turns back to Harry. "I don't blame you, of course, dear."
"They were starving him, mum! There were bars on his window!"
"You best hope I don't put bars on your window, Ronald Weasley!" She turns back to Harry, her voice softening. "Care for a spot of tea, Harry?"
***Time Skip***
We were all sitting in the kitchen eating breakfast. The door opened and someone began to speak. "Mummy, have you seen my jumper--" We looked up and saw Ginny. Harry gave her a smile and a small hello. Ginny squealed and ran back out. Ron frowns.
"Ginny. Been talking about you all summer. Dead annoying, really." I kicked Ron under the table before giving him a glare.
"Maybe we should talk about all the girls you've talked about this summer." I said.
"Dad's home!" George said.
"What a night. Nine raids. Nine!"
"Raids?" Harry asked us.
"Dad works at the Ministry of Magic." Ron said.
"In the Misuse of Muggle Artifacts Office." I continued.
"The Misuse of Muggle Artifacts...?"
"That's when wizards bewitch something to drive Muggles mad. Shrinking door keys, that kind of thing. Dad loves muggles. Thinks they're fascinating." Arthur sits down and looks at Harry.
"Well now. Who are you?"
"Harry, sir. Harry Potter."
"Good lord, are you really? Ron and Aurora told us all about you, of course. When did you get here?"
"This morning. Your sons flew that enchanted car of yours to Surrey house and back last night." Molly said darkly.
"You did now! How'd it go?!" Molly smacks him in the arm and he tries to correct himself. "I... I mean... That was very wrong, boys. Very wrong indeed. So, Harry. You must know all about Muggles. Tell me, what exactly is the function of a rubber duck?" Harry was trying to find an answer, when something hit the window. I turned towards the window before getting up and walking over towards it.
"That must be Errol with the post." I opened the window, and there he was, an unconscious Errol. I shook my head at the dumb bird before picking him up and the letters.
"Dumb bird." I said as I placed him on the table. Everyone gave a small chuckle. "It's our Hogwarts letters. They've sent yours as well, Harry." I handed everyone their Hogwarts letters.
"Dumbledore must know you're here, Harry. Doesn't miss a trick, that man."
"This lot won't come cheap, mum. The spellbooks alone..."
"We'll manage. Right then. There's only one place we can get all this."
"Diagon Alley." The boys said. I stood up and walked towards the door.
"Molly, can I speak to you. Alone." She nodded and followed me to the family room. "Molly, Fred's right. The supplies won't come cheap."
"Aurora, I know exactly where you are going with this."
"Just let me pay for the books." I said.
"No, I won't allow it."
"Molly, please. Just the books, that's all I ask."
"No." I decided to play a card I've never used before.
"Molly, don't make me order you to let me." She stared at me in shock for a moment.
"Fine." She said.
"Thank you." We walked back into the kitchen.
"What was the about?" George said as I sat down.
"I have no idea what you are talking about, George." I said, as I continued eating.
Hope you enjoyed the first chapter.
