Bono's POV

"-I fill staffed!"Adam exclaims as he drinks some more of his juice
"-I could eat some more without complaining! This tart is something else!" Larry said and giggles as he notices the funny face Adam makes.
Edge was looking at them drinking his coffee and writing down some notes in a napkin, yeah our scientist investigating as always...
"-I have to admit that this breakfast is more than delicious!!!"
"-Easy B man! You have to worry about your body a little much more!" Adam fight my words back and then he adds:
"-We need a fit frondman after all!!!"
"-Oh shut up!!!"
"-He is right Bono we will have a new album promotion a new tour to come for sure and you need to be at your best shape!" Larry agrees with Adam and both of them look at me as angry coaches staring at a lazy athlete with poor performance!
Maybe they are right about my shape though but come on(!) I am not Adam or Larry I can't spend my whole day in the gym anymore! But I have to do something for sure maybe just a little walk every now and then as my wife is gonna kill me if I try to ride a bike again and I am sure about it, I don't want to get murdered by the love of my life it could be unfair! So yeah it's official I am gonna do it! I will try to walk a little bit every day.
"-Hey guys!" Edge exclaims "I have to tell you something really important and you have to take it under surious consideration!"
"-What happened?" I ask him suspicious.
"-It's about the new album thing!"
"-You are not ready yet! That is, isn't it?"I shout angrily.
"-Easy Bono! All of us know how much work Edge have put on this new album as all of as did!"Adam says in his cool tone
"-Then what it is?"I ask once again.
"-We have to be sure that releasing this album is the right thing to do with all this tricky political situations that have occurred around the world!" Edge explains and Larry finally speaks:
"-Not that politics bullshit again! Come on now what can we really do about that? We are musicians and we have made a vow to our fans! We have to deliver this album sooner or later! Do we really want to let them down?"
"-We will if we just release an album that is unlike us!" I admit
"-Edge that it is in your mind?" Adam asks finishing his beverage
"-It's been almost 30 years from when Jushua Tree was first released and..."
"-Almost 20 from when POP came out! So what?" Adam asks now kind of angry.
"-Yeah POP too but what I was trying to say is that we can't just ignore all the political issues which keep coming over and over again this last year and Jushua Tree is, what can I say, a disc with a lot of political influences..."
I am listening carefully what he has to say but Larry doesn't seem to have the same altitude...
"-What the fuck Edge! Past belongs to the past! Jushua Tree was indeed a album which was really powerful but it dealt with issues of its time!!! So now we have to concentrate to the voices of our times!"
"-Hey! Lar calm down! Let him finish!" I say cause an argument right now could be the worst bossible thing as even Adam seems to be moody!
"-Can't you see what it's coming Bono? It's obvious! He want to postpone the album's realese and do some anniversary bullshit thing estead!"
"-Edge?" I asked hoping what Larry just said isn't true... Cause one more time I'll be the one whose slow things down because I am a show off diva whose trying to show the world how much I care about the social problems! Though the thing is that I really do care! Edge now is taking a deep breath and starts talking again:
"-Yeah Larry is definitely right! All I wanted to say is to go back and see what the things that were bagging us back then were and give them a new shape! You know maybe a tour in big stadiums, just us and the people no special effects, no fancy costumes just the way it was back then!"
"-Our times requires these type of things! People need to see extrodinary things! They need to see the impossible becoming possible! That's what technology does and that's what the want to see! Unfortunately it's not about the art it's about the act!" I say and I see the Adam and the Larry nodding. The on the other hand seams really sceptical and after a couple of minutes he says:
"-It's worth the try! To recreate the felling someone was getting when attended a gig back in 80s! We can bring this magic back!"
"-Yeah that's right! Everything is about magic! That's what people really want!  But the magic nowadays is not in the music is in the images! It's pathetic but it is what it is! What else can we do?"
"-Let's make them believe in the power of music again! Let's prove them that music is magic! That music is feelings and thoughts! That music can give sape in everything!" Says I can see his eyes glowing with desire to make this thoughts come true... And as my eyes are fixed in his for a brief moment I can see the dreamer within him the young shy boy I first saw about 40 years ago who was never barging about anything but with his magic weapon, his guitar, he could make anything possible!
"-It's crazy! We can't change the way people want to entertain themselves!" Says Adam trying to prove that Edge has said wrong and impossible but that's not a new kind of thing as Adam was never the one to come up with a crazy idea and time hasn't changed that!
"-We don't have a right to do so" adds Larry as he is trying not to shout as he is defenatly still a little bit mad with the 'revolutionary' ideas Edge is sharing with us!
"-Guys! I thing Edge is right!" All three of them turns their heads to look at me but I am not gonna back off now! I am gonna speak my mind no matter what!
"-We can give it a shot! Maybe the world need our voices to be heard! Maybe it takes four old crazy Irish fellas for the world to start hearing the music with their hearts!"
Before I even take a breath after my little speech I can feel Edge's hands around me. He cuddle me with all his strength and shouts full of happiness:
"-That's my boy! Bono I really promise you that if my idea doesn't turn out right I am gonna work day and night to deliver the new album imidiately!"
"-It seems to me that we have a deal!"Adam exlcaims and turns his gaze to Larry
"-Day and night you said?"
"-I am gonna write you a song to dedicate to your wife if you want me to as well!" Says The as he has his arms still wrapped around my shoulders.
"-Ok now it's a deal!"
"-Hey I want to ask for a favor as well!"
"-What it is?"
"-I want you to help me with a bass line I am working on and I really wanted to be a kicking ass bass line!"
"-Oh that's gonna be my pleasure!" Edge answers and Adam smirks and then The turns his attention towards me and asks me with a sweet plastering on his face:
"-Any favour for you B?"
"-I think you know..." I wisper to his ear and smile
"-Huh?"
"-For God's sake, make your idea work out! I believe in you!" Edge hugs me once more and then the four of us get again in the car.

It is late noon and we are still on the road! I know that by tomorrow morning we will be home! It feels good in a way! But something inside of it's gonna miss this whole road trip thing! Adam and Larry are laying asleep in the backseats as fro once again Edge is driving and I am sitting right deside him.
"-You know Edge..." I mumble
"-Hmm..." he shutters
"-I have to thank you for this trip! I really do! Your support was everything! You are always by my side and I need you to know that our friendship is priceless for me! I am the most fortunate person in the whole world to have you as my  friend! It's not that I don't love the other to because I do! They're awesome! But I don't really know I feel like you are my soulmate​ or something I can tell you everything and I can do anything that comes to my mind with you!"
Edge is just looking at the road and smiles like a little boy. His smile warm my heart and then I hear him talking:
"-You are such a sweet talker Bono! But really now I am getting emotional! You are the only bastard that make my smile so hard! You are the only who effects my art and inspire me to make such unique melodies... We have said all this before you know!"
He says and take a quick glimpse of me.
"-Yeah... Right but though..."
"-I know... I know..." He said with a sigh and then he adds:
"-Thank you so much for supporting my idea before!"
"-Don't mention it love! Seams as a good opportunity for some musical experiments and not only musical..." I whisper and wink an eye to him
"-So Joshua Tree Tour we are coming back!"
"-Say that again! Cause I feel that a new adventure is ahead of us" I whisper-shout with enthusiasm!
