Larry's POV

I rest my head on the window looking outside observing the view. I really like traveling by car especially when someone else is driving 'cause I have the opportunity to see every little detail of the surrounding which usually I am not able to catch sight of. Edge on the other hand is fully concentrate on driving and for time to time he points an interesting historical or environmental location giving us information about them, which I am sure is the only guy on earth who knows all these things, as Bono seems to be in a completely other universe as he just sits in the seat beside me with his eyes closed and his head titling on my shoulder maybe he is asleep, you never really know with this man! Seeing Bono being so relaxed I suddenly feel at ease and I close my eyes as well allowing myself to transfer in my parallel universe.

Everything is so peaceful for a while and I almost jump of my seat as The stops the car causing Bono to loose completely his balance and fall in my feet:

"-Hey what's happening? Are you trying to get rid of me?"

"-We never had that kind of intentions!" Exclaims The turning his head back to look at us

"-He says that! Maybe is time for U2 to become The Larry Mullen's Band again! And there is only one way for this to become true!"

"-Oh, just put poison in my drink I can't stand another injury!!!" Says Bono staring at me with the most frightening look I ever seen in his eyes

"-I'll keep that in mind for the next time!" I say as The interrupts me and starts talking:

"-Sorry guys but I saw the exit the last minute!"

"-Which fucking exit?" I ask annoyed but before The even speak I hear Bono groaning and then only one word escapes his mouth:

"-Why?"

"-Are you gonna explain me or it's just stuff for the happy couple?" I say ironically trying to get their attention

"-It's site-seeing time!!!" Shouts The with amusement.

"-Yeah, site-seeing time..." mumbles Bono burring his face within his hands

"-Site-seeing time?" I ask looking between the two of them.

"-Yeah that's totally right! Site-seeing!!! So let's go!!!" He says as he opens the car's door and then he adds:

"-Come on hurry up we are gonna be late!!!"

"-Late for what?" Asks Bono while he gets out of the car as well.

"-I have already book our tickets and our guide are waiting for us!!!"

"-Why you did that the first place? I mean we are not at a school trip!" I mumble as I get out of the car.

"-It's a tradition... You can't go on a trip with The and skip the educational part" Bono comments but Edge doesn't seem to care about what we are saying so he just shout playfully at us:

"Stop complaining! I'm sure you have never experienced something like that I have planned for today! What is more as always Bono says some traditions are good!"

I can see Bono crack a smile obvious delighted that even we are quoting him but still not very pleased with how things turned out. I see out of the corner of my eye The pointing at a specific direction and as I turn my face to see what exactly lies there I hear Bono exclaim:

"-No fucking way!!! It can't be!!!"

"-Oh yes it can!!!" Edge answers and giggle a bit

"-Is this the Loftus Hall?" I ask more to believe it myself than to get an actual answer

"-I'm not going there!!!"Bono shouts and The now laughing at our reactions

"-You are not really believe that this building is haunted, are you?" He says as he really enjoying the whole situation

"-Of course not!!!" I say trying to be as convincing as I can but Bono has a completely different approach to the whole thing:

"-So you two are not afraid?" He asks and the both of us answer in unison:

"-No all these stories about this building is childish!"

"-Well then I assume that you know the original Legend of why this is considering one of the creepiest places in the whole world!"
I am trying to remember but as I am thinking I realize that I don't really know the background story of this building and Edge seams a little bit confused too! So without any hesitation I look at Bono and shout at him full of curiosity:
"-Enlighten us!"

"-Well, he says in a deep and low voice, all stared a rainy night many years ago. The lord who owned this house hosted a night for his friends and himself to have some fun. So when all of them gathered here they decided to play a round of cards. As they were playing a pounding in the front door interrupted their game, Bono makes a really strange sound to imitate the knock on the door which cause me to get goosebumps all over my skin, so the lord went to the door and when he opened it in front of him was standing a strange young man dressed in black. The lord let him in and introduced him to his friends but no matter what they were asking him he was remaining silent, says Bono now looking at us as he is expecting a different reaction from us apart from glancing at him with a blank look and awe."

"-So what happened next?" I ask as The add only a minute after:

"-Why all these start to feel creepy?"

"-Cause there are! But I haven't done with this story yet!" comments and laugh a little looking directly at the Loftus Hall and immediately his eyes darken a little before he keep on talking:

"-Well as I said before the mysterious man didn't react at any of the things the lord and his friends were talking about until they suggested him to play a round of cards with them. The man took the offer and soon they were playing. He remained silent and a cold and dark look was draw in his eyes. Eventually he won the first game and then the second and the third and..."

"-We understand he won every goddammit game!" I say 'cause he is witters again

"-That's right! He was winning all the games in a row but as they were still playing the lord accidentally dropped one of his cards on the floor"

"-Oh yeah don't tell me this is really frightening! I can feel my blood turn cold and the air from my lungs goes away!" says ironically The but Bono ignores him saying:

"-As he bent over to get the card he saw something very peculiar the stranger had cloven foot. He thought he had some kind of illusions and he decided to touch him and his fingers brushed against something smooth and hard. He completely lost his mind and as he stood up there was no sight of him to been found... One of his friends complained that the place was getting very cold and a breeze with an icy chill descended on the room. The lord looked up to see where the chill came from. And there in the roof over the very chair the young man had sat upon was a great gaping black hole surrounded by a smoky cloud. They say that no matter what they did the hole never truly repaired!"

"-Let's be rational! Something like this can't be true!" complains The but I feel a bit scared myself

"-You know they are saying that young man wasn't just a demon but the devil himself!" Says Bono and I can see that he is really afraid to go there more than I am

"-Are you trying to mess around with us, don't you? There are so many legends about haunted places none of them has proved to be true!"

"-I think we have to reconsider our visit there!" I exclaim pointing directly at the Loftus Hall

"-You chicken out as well!!! Oh come on it's gonna be fun!" He insist grabbing me with his left hand and Bono with his right leading us right in the Loftus Hall.

We are almost in frond the entrance when a low and harsh voice shouts:

"-Get down!!! On your knees!!! Now!!!"

The three of us fall on the ground as quickly as we can and the sound of gunshots whistle past our ears.

"-You want to kill me but I don't wanna die" Bono shatters as he put his hand on top of his head to protect himself.

"-Let's get our ass outta here! Mercy!" I whisper-shout to The Edge as I hear the voice again:

"-Everyone ON THE GROUND!" and a scream follows those words making myself shiver once more.

"-Mercy!!!" Is the last word I can make out and then everything turns black.
