Bono's POV

While I am sleeping I feel the presence of someone else beside me and with no particular reason I wake up. I open my eyes and I see Edgee sleeping in the same bed as I was some minutes ago. Bed? Oh yeah now I remember we stoped in a small motel last night to take a comfortable nap! But why are we sleeping in the same bed? I stand up and I am heading to the bathroom while I am trying to remember how The and I ended up in the same bed! Were we drank? I am washing my face and shave 'cause my stumble had started to grow in my face, still not sure what happened yesterday. I look my reflection in the mirror and fix my hair with my hands a little and then I get back to the bed. I am sitting in the edge of the bed right beside The Edge, funny isn't it? , and I am trying the hardest I can to find out what happened last night...

Some minutes later I hear a fade sound coming from Edge's direction:

"-Hmmm..."

"-Good morning to you too!" I say turning to face him

"-Good morning B" He mumbles

"-Oh come on wake up!" I command pushing him a little "I need to ask you something otherwise I' ll get crazy!"

"-I know you can't live without me but give me a minute..." He says, his voice low not much above a whisper.

He yawns and stretch his muscles before he opens his eyes and speaks again:

"-What is it?"

"-Why we slept in the same bed?"

"-So you don't remember?" He answers to me licking his lips seductively

"-That's not funny The! What happened?"

"-Funny??? I never told such a thing! Don't hurt my feelings!" He whispers and get up to reach me

"-Cut it off! Alright? I frankly don't remember a single think of what happened yesterday after we arrived here!"

"-That's mean that I was so good last night that my perfectness caused you amnesia! Little pour guy..." He says and hug me from behind still wearing no t-shirt so I feel his bare chest pushing my back

"-Oh please tell me nothing you know... happened between us! Tell me you didn't let me get drunk last night!"

"-It's truly a pity not to remember anything you were so..." I don't let him finish his sentence and I grab him from his arms almost shouting:

"-For the God's shakes!!! What were I??? Tell me! Now!!!"

"-Asleep!!! Little sleepy head! You fell asleep an hour or so after we left the Wicklow so I found this motel and wake you up only 'cause I couldn't carry you like you were a dead man or something and then you fell asleep again!"

"-Oh! That's make sense but why only one room? Why only one bed?"

"-It was the only available room they had there! I had no choice you were very tiered so was I! We are not teenagers anymore!"

"-I understand" I say remembering some of the things he is talking about and I let his arms free. As I do so he cups my face with his hands and whispers:

"-Your chicks are so soft..."

"-I just shaved them!"

"-Ali must love it when you do so!"

"-Depend!"

"-On?"

"-You know! Much different experience each time!"

"-You have such a dirty mind!" He states and leaps to his feet going right to the bathroom closing the door behind him.

I stand up as well and open the French door and the same moment I hear Edge shouting:

"-Dress up otherwise we will not be able to take breakfast here!"

"-So what's the problem" I shout back

"-I paid for it!!!"

"-Ok I'll be ready by the moment you get out there!" I answer putting on my pants and getting out of my bag, which I don't remember taking with me from the car so Edge did, a clean blue t-shirt and wear it. By the time I found my flip flops I hear the bathroom door opening and turn to face The Edge.

"-Bono this t-shirt looks really good on you!" He exclaims

"-Same goes with yours!" I joke as he still doesn't wear any!

"-Hmm! I always knew you were feeling envy for not having this perfect body!" He says pointing to his body and then smiling seductively

"-You ask for it" I say taking some steps closer to him and peck him in his lips, something we do very often like other people do a high-five or something like this.

"-You are a perv!" He states putting on a shirt

"-Always been! That's why you love me" I say and go to his direction "Let me help you with this" I offer pointing the buttons on his shirt.

"-I can do it by my own!"

"-Not as good as I can!" I insist and start to button them without let him say anything else.

I left the three last buttons undone and take a look at him.

"-You look so handsome right now! Don't put your beany on ! It's gonna ruin this beauty!"

"-Do you want to fuck me or what?"

"-Nuh... I'm not in a mood" I say almost crying from laughing

"-Then let's go! I am starving!" He says and opens the door.

I follow him out of the room and we get into the elevator. I push the button for the ground floor and then turn my gaze to The Edge who is staring at me all the time since we get out of the room.

"-What it is?"

"-This t-shirt of yours reminds me... Do you remember that time years ago when we..."

"-Of course I remember but we got to forget!"

"-I can't!!! I still feel the sense of your touch in my skin." He says and now I really am in a very uncomfortable position but thanks to my good luck the elevator's door opens!

"-We have to talk about this" He whisper in my ear while we are approaching the breakfast room

"-But not now!" I whisper back and grab a salver taking first a cup of tea and some biscuits.

I find a spare table and take a seat waiting for The to come while I take a ship from my tea. He seats in front of me and put a salver full of everything you can imagine.

"-Bone appetite Bono!"

"-Merci! I thought I was the only one who could speak French!"

"-That's right! I've learnt from the best!"

"-Whatever" I say and ask him "Who is gonna eat all this?"

"-You and me! Don't tell me this little biscuits are enough to feed you hunger!"

"-You're always right, don't you?" I ask and grab a tart from his plate.

I bite the tart and lick the inside flavor. It's really the definition of tasty food! The fact that it's still hot make it even better that it really is and I like that kind of illusions! As Edge sees me he starts laughing

"-You are so ridiculous when you're eating like this" He tells me handing me a napkin

"-Thank you mom!" I say taking the napkin from his hand

I am drinking the rest of my tea while The Edge is testing some of the croissant he has in his plate. I stand up to get back to our room to get our staff but The grabs my hand and make me sit in my chair again.

"-Before you go I need to ask you! I am the only one who still remember that affair we had? I need to tell me! Just say it meant nothing for you and I'll never tell you anything about it!!! NEVER!"

"-I can't say it meant nothing 'cause it's a lie! A big fat lie!"

"-So you still remember?"

"-Everything! But all these was twenty years ago! We wanted to explore the unknown we wanted all kinds of new experiences!"

"-I know but I still crave for your touch and that kiss before remind me of those times you were mine!"

"-Oh no you don't crave for anything that's mine! You were so distant throughout the previous tour! But maybe is better that way..."

"-I was afraid! Have you seen how many people are talking about you and me having a secret affair?"

"-But we have not! We never really had! Let's get over all this and keep on going with what we got now!"

"-What we got then?"

"-You have me and I have you! We are friends and if it's necessary something more!" I say and wink at him adding "I am what you need me to be as you are what I need you to be! That's why our relationship never fade! Buddies forever, right?" I say and he gives me a playful punch in my arm as an answer.
