Has it ever occurred to you that Annabeth has been engaged to Percy since they were 12? Remember when they were playing Hacky sack (in the first book) and Percy threw an apple at Annabeth and she caught it? In ancient Greece, if a man threw an apple at a women he was proposing, and if she caught she accepted. So therefor Percy and Annabeth are engaged!!
