Though we're apart.

I write about you from within my tower,

You excite me like a meteor shower.

Out of all the men who have climbed to see me,

You are the only one I long to be with.

Though the world seems to separate you and me,

You are mine, I am yours; I love you dearly.

What is love if it cannot be fought for?

What is a flag if its people are torn?

I will be waiting for you at the door.

When you come back, take me and make me yours.

My life is good because I have you

Even though we don't know what to do.

With you, what we have is more than enough.

Let's stay together no matter how things get rough.

Of your courage, bravery, and love,
