Chapter 2

I could see a patrol rushing towards me.

"Are you OK Silverstar?" Rainbowblaze said urgently.

"Yes, the cat didn't do anything to me," I say.

A confused look appears on his face, as well as the rest of the patrol, Streampaw, Brownfur, and Ivyfang.

"What cat?"  Ivyfang asks, suspiciously."You just fell out of the sky, right?"

"No, there was a pure white she-cat that knocked me out of the sky! I'm not going crazy, she was there!" I insist.

"OK, I trust you," Ivyfang meows.

I walk back to camp, uncertain about what just happened. I knew that what ever was going to happen, it was big.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
"SILVERSTAR!" Emberpelt rushes toward me in a panic,"Featherlight! She's coughing really badly!"
"What?!" I meow,"Bring me to her immediately!"
I follow Emberpelt into the nursery. Featherlight is indeed coughing pretty badly.
"Featherlight, are you OK?" I say.
"I *cough* am not re-*hack*-ally feeling all that *sneeze* wonderful..." Featherlight coughs.
Right then, Goldenleaf shows up. "Come here Featherlight! You need to come with me."
Reluctantly, Featherlight follows Goldenleaf.
"Will she be alright?" Emberpelt asks worriedly.
"I don't know," I sigh,"We will have to let StarClan do their work."
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Emberpelt waits anxiously at the medicine cat den entrance, hoping it's nothing bad. I sort of remember hearing about it, in the Clans. When Goldenleaf comes to tell us the news, it was just as I thought.

"Featherlight has whitecough. She should get better, but should stay in the medicine den for a while," Goldenleaf explains.

"What about the kits?" Emberpelt exclaims, worriedly."Who will take care if them?"

"I will ask the other queens to help," I meow.

Goldenleaf nods. "I'm sure they'll help."

Goldenleaf then goes back into the medicine den to treat Featherlight.

"Tell me right away if other cats are having similar symptoms," she says over her shoulder.

Looking back at Emberpelt, I say, "Why don't you go on a hunting patrol? That might help keep your mind off things. I'll join the patrol, if you dont mind."

Hesitantly, he replies with a "Sure."

I see Whitewillow, and her apprentice, Fastpaw strolling towards the entrance of the camp.

"Hey, Whitewillow, do you and your apprentice want to join a hunting patrol?" I say as I bound up to her.

"Sure, we were just on our way to a training session, but we were going to go over the hunting crouch. Could it be a training session and hunting patrol in one?" Whitewillow asks.

"Sure," I nod in agreement.

"Thanks," Whitewillow meows, as Fastpaw's face forms a look of excitement.

"YAY, WEAREGONNAHUNTSOMEANIMALSIMSOEXCITEDIWONDERWHATKINDOFANIMALIWILLCATCH,IBETITWILLETHEBIGGESTBIRDYOU'VEEVERSEEN!!!!" Fastpaw exclaims.

"Yep," I chuckle,"I bet you will catch a big animal too."

~~~~~~
The four of us head out into the steadily falling snow. The ground is covered in snow and I wonder how we will manage to find prey.
Demonstrating the hunting crouch, Whitewillow says, "This is the hunting crouch. You need to keep your pawsteps light, and your weight even."
Fastpaw tries to do the crouch, mimicking Whitewillow. "Like this?" She says.
"Yes, but keep your stomach off the ground, and make sure you distribute your weight evenly. Don't worry, you wi-"
Whitewillow is cut off by a force that knocks her to the ground. I see a pure white she-cat with blazing blue eyes. I instantly know it's the same cat that attacked me.
I move fast, and react fast too. I lunge at the cat, and knock her off Whitewillow. The she-cat whips around, and faces me, a bright blue fire burning indignantly in her eyes. She lunges at me, moving fast, but I'm faster. I tackle her to the ground, though I can tell this she-cat is very strong. When I finally manage to pin her to the ground, I am tired, as it was surprisingly hard.
"Who are you, and what do you want from us?!" I growl, practically spitting in her face.
She doesnt even flinch as she stays silent.
"Well, spit it out!" I hiss. "What lame excuse will you use to make us let you go?!"
The she-cat stays silent. Her eyes blaze as if to say, "I'm not telling you anything!"
"Fine," I conclude, "You're coming back to our camp, where you will speak!"
I force her to get up, and Emberpelt, Whitewillow, Fastpaw, and I make her walk, pinning her wings to her body, and squishing her between us to make sure she doesn't escape.
The white she-cat doesn't say anything as we force her into the camp. I call more warriors to help me with the she-cat. She doesn't say anything as we force her into my den, blocking up the entrance, so she can't escape. She didn't even talk when I demanded answers, and stated that if she didn't give them up on by her own will, we would make her speak.
She just simply sat there, staring into my eyes.
I was starting to think she was mute when she suddenly said one phrase.
"When you fight blizzards with snow, you will be defeated!"
It didn't sound like a lot, but it was enough to send shivers down my spine.
It was enough to confirm my suspicions. Something big was about to happen.
