I scratch Hollyspeck's side, my claws slightly ripping through her flesh. Her eyes widen in alarm. Hollyspeck had been egging me on, but she didn't think I'd actually do it.

She was right.

To an extent of course.

Hollyspeck is too valuable now for me to let her die. Since now it seems that she's the only living cat that knows the whole truth about Nightshade, I can't kill her. However, I can't let her go without a scratch; she's way to dangerous for that.

So I did what was most logical. I clawed her enough so she can't fight, but not enough to kill her.

"So," I hiss into Hollyspeck's ear, "It's done now isn't it? Maybe we can reach an agreement. I promise not to kill you if you don't kill me or anyone else in our clan, and you have to tell me everything you know about Nightshade. I can kill you now, but we both know that you'd end up right where you deserve to be-The Place of No Stars-not to mention how much I could reward you if you don't betray me again. Understood?"

Hollyspeck snarls in pain. "I'll never be your slave! Get on with it-kill me now! I'm not afraid of your 'Place of No Stars!'"

I get off of Hollyspeck and motion to my clan. Splashmoon and Rainbowblaze come forward and grab hold of Hollyspeck. She yowls in protest, but we all know that she's in no shape to fight. That ugly gash in her side that I gave her will only get worse if she struggles.

I stand up, my ruffled fur waving in the wind and snow blowing into my face. "Today, we celebrate a victory for WingClan!" I exclaim. "The Band of Rogue Shadows' leader is dead, and most of the threat is gone! For those who are still sworn members to TBRS, I warn you all, if you keep fighting against WingClan, you will lose! We don't care how much you hate us, because we will not give up! We can share the land that we have on this mountain with you-or you can leave. Those are your choices! Your tyrant leader is gone and with that, I wonder how many of you are truly evil souls. Will you accept my offer to share land, or will all of you have to be obliterated by WingClan?!"

 A blueish green she-cat with blueish green butterfly wings walks forward to me. "My name is Safire, and I agree with Silverstar. I don't want to fight anymore and I propose that we do share this land. Our band needs a place to stay but we don't need to steal land anymore."

Howls of approval sound from everywhere. These cats aren't bad, just a little misguided.

A white tom with dark grey speckles and paws, and dark grey eyes voices his opinion. "My name is Jag and I too agree. I also think that we need a new name for our band, since 'The Band of Rogue Shadows' is not the reputation I want anymore."

More cats agree and I say my final words. "It is done. I think we are all a little tired from this distressful turn of events, so why don't we go back to our camps and rest. Tomorrow at moonhigh, let us meet back here once more for an official call for a truce. We will also talk of what to do with Hollyspeck. She is a traitor to both WingClan and TBRS and should be dealt with accordingly."

I start walking towards WingClan camp, but a yowl sounds from the crowd.

"I REFUSE TO FOLLOW YOU MOTHER!" Frost hisses at Hollyspeck. "AFTER ALL YOU'VE DONE TO ME, I'M SUPPOSED TO DEFEND YOU?! I HATE YOU, AND I'M LEAVING FOREVER! THIS STUPID AGREEMENT THING WITH TBRS AND WINGCLAN IS UNBELIEVABLY STUPID AND I REFUSE TO FOLLOW IT OR YOU, HOLLYSPECK!"

With that, Frost takes to the sky and flies away. Everyone looks at her, alarmed. We know that's probably the last we'll see of Frost.

"Where do you want her?" Rainbowblaze asks about Hollyspeck as we enter camp.

I nod towards the medicine den. "The medicine den. She'll need herbs for that wound, and will get them, even though she's a prisoner now. Plus I have business with her that I think Goldenleaf should join me for."

Rainbowblaze and Splashmoon nod in unison and drag Hollyspeck away.

Goldenleaf touches her tail to mine. "I'll dress her wounds, along with our clanmates' wounds and yours, then we can talk in my den."

"Ok," I say as she trots toward her den.

Suddenly, exhaustion hits me and my head spins. Tempestclaw rushes up and presses his body against mine to support me. I blush profusely.

"Here, why don't we go rest for a bit," he meows. "You look dreadfully tired."

I close my eyes. "Yes, thank you."

I open my eyes and we walk to my den. I lie down on my bedding and he sits next to me. My head rests against his body and his steady heartbeat calms me.

"Tempestclaw," I murmur.

"Yes?" He replies, looking at me.

"I think-I think I'm in love."

A look of surprise flashes across his eyes, but is soon replaced with affection.

"Me too."

I know the ending might seem kind of abrupt, and I'm sorry for that. I always have trouble starting and ending stories...... Don't worry, I have much more planned. In fact, I am right about to upload the 2nd book. I'll update this story when I have it out.
