My body hits the ground below with a thud. Surprised by the recent events, I let myself fall. What is Hollyspeck doing? Is she on my side-or Nightshade's? Tempestclaw rushes to my aid, but my attention is diverted to Hollyspeck's white body above.

Nightshade growls in anger as she pushes Hollyspeck off of her. "How dare you attack your true leader?!"

Throwing another punch at Nightshade, Hollyspeck snarls, "Leader?! You're no leader! I was never truly on your side, you pathetic fool! All I've ever wanted is all your power, and I intend to get it! Silverstar was NOT to be killed right now, instead, I was supposed to do the honors after killing you!" Her lip curls in a sneer, blood-lust in her eyes.

Hollyspeck, once a sworn member of TBRS, once my clanmate, and now a bloodthirsty villain looking for more power. Hollyspeck, the one member of my clan that I knew I could never really trust.

"However, I may spare you if you resign from your position and give me all your power. Otherwise, I'll let you live long enough to see your little secret exposed, then kill you," She continues.

Suddenly, Nightshade's face pales a little, and a look of panic crosses her face. What secret? I wonder to myself. Wait! The prophecy! I may be able to find my true sister again somehow-wait? Could it be?!

"No!" I whisper to myself. "T-that can't be right....can it?"

I stand up. "Just WHAT secret are you talking about?"

Noticing that I'm still there, Nightshade quickly says, "Nothing! Are you blackmailing me Hollyspeck?!"

A snide grin flashes across Hollyspeck's face. "Precisely. I know you will never back down from your position, but I know you would never want anyone to know that you aren't-"

"SHUT UP!" Infuriated, Nightshade screams into the air as she presses her paw against Hollyspeck's mouth. "I WILL NEVER BACK DOWN FROM MY POSITION! DO YOU TAKE ME AS A FOOL?!"

Think Silverstar! What would only your sister know? Think!

"Nightshade, can you answer me this simple question? What exactly did I tell you was the reason for my leaving you and travelling the world?" I inquire.

Looking flustered, instant terror is evident on Nightshade's face. "You wanted to travel the world didn't you sister?"

"WRONG! I had a dream that I was needed elsewhere that I never told anyone but my sister, and decided to travel do figure out what that was, and who exactly I am. I told you that right before I left-or I told my sister, Smokey. You, are NOT my real sister are you! WHO ARE YOU AND WHAT DO YOU WANT WITH MY CLAN?! WHERE IS MY REAL SISTER?!"

Whispers of alarm sound around me. The world whirls in my head, and a new hope rises, along with instant fury.

Hollyspeck pulls away from Nightshade with a nasty grin on her face; the secret is revealed now. Before Nightshade can say anything more, Hollyspeck strikes. Her claws rip through Nightshade's body, spraying blood into the air. Nightshade cries out in agony, only to have it cut short when Hollyspeck slams her wings into Nightshade's body. Her body is whipped towards the ground and hits with a sickening crunch.

Barely breathing, she gasps, "Your sister.....she's.....in......where......you used......to......."

Her body goes limp without finishing her sentence (although I know what she means) and many around me gasp in horror, taking in the scene. Hollyspeck, looking like a madman with ruffled blood-stained fur, laughs.

"Now it's YOUR turn Silverstar!" She evilly laughs.

Hollyspeck flies over to me and picks me up. Having done this before, I maneuver my body out of her grip. Taking into account the wind and thinking about TBRS' techniques for fighting, I flap my wings powerfully to throw Hollyspeck away from me.

She snickers. "I see you're catching on-but you still aren't as good as me!"

She flaps her wings and sends me flying in the opposite direction. I spread out my wings and catch myself, using the opposing wind that is facing my back as leverage. I rush towards her and push her down towards the ground with my back legs, spinning as I burst slightly upward. Hollyspeck's body is pushed down, but she quickly regains her balance and instead uses that to her advantage, dragging me down with her outstretched claw. We both fall to the ground in a flurry of silver and white.

I shove Hollyspeck to the ground before I hit the ground, forcing her to be pinned down by me. Suddenly, she twists her body and around and is pinning me to the ground. I bat at her face, which comes close to mine, but she swipes them away.

Murderously, she meows, "DIE SILVERSTAR! DIE!!!!" and swipes my face with her claws. The swipe isn't soft or hard, more playfully painful than anything else.

I screech and kick up at her with force, making Hollyspeck tumble backwards. I swiftly get the upper hand and pin her down.

"Do it!" Hollyspeck taunts. "Just kill me already! You know I deserve it-put me out of my misery!"

I raise my paw to strike her, but hesitate for a moment. Oh gosh, am I really going to kill her?! I've never killed anyone, how can I be so cruel? Uncertainty paralyzes my mind. If I kill her, I'll have to live with the guilt for my whole life-but if I let her go, she'll undoubtedly kill me and rule as a tyrant over my clan, as well as The Band of Rogue Shadows.

I hesitate for a moment longer and make my decision.

My paw flies downward and all I see next is red blood.
