Beep, beep, beep.
I slowly open my eyes and look around.
Everything is blurry, and I can't keep my eyelids open.
My head is throbbing, like a terrible migraine.
A face leans over me, and my eyes finally adjust.
It's a man.
He has slightly, curly, brown hair, and big grayish, green eyes.
I don't recognize him, and frown.
"You're awake." He proclaims with a small smile, before stepping away, out of my line of vision.
My head throbs even more as his muffled voice comes to my ears.
Wait, why is it muffled?
I slowly reach my right hand up to my head, and feel cloth tightly wrapped around it.
My hand and muscles start to ache as I lay my hand back down.
I try and move my left hand, but it just.... won't.
I close my eyes and take a deep breath, then quickly sit part way up, gasping at the pain.
I look down at my arm and see....... a bandage...But it only goes to my elbow......below it is... nothing!
I scream, and fall back down.
I can feel the pain in my arm now,
Tears roll down my cheeks, and I start to shake.
I see blurry faces above me and voices.
Then something sharp stabs my good arm.
A sedative.
I cry harder as everything starts to dim and my brain starts to fill with fog.
Then I am dragged beneath, into the dark abyss of sleep.
