I scream and try to scramble away, but her grip on my half arm is firm.
She doesn't even look at me.
"Sophie, try and inflict and I will shoot her. And yes this is a real human gun."
Gisela says with a malicious grin.
I realize then, we aren't the only ones in the forests.
Five teens and two men, stand across the clearing from us.
They're all very dashing.
The girl, Sophie I guess, is blonde with kind brown eyes and seems to be the leader of the group.
"Gisela, let the girl go." She says slowly.
Gisela raises an eyebrow.
"Give me my son."
Sophie's eyes narrow.
"Never."
Gisela shrugs and turns towards me.
She raises the gun, and I close my eyes and throw out my hand.
I hear the shot and wait for the pain but feel nothing. Instead I hear a scream.
I whip my eyes open and see Gisela holding her shoulder as blood drips from her fingers.
She has dropped the gun, and the air around me is shiny. I stare at the golden bubble around me in shock.
Gisela is glaring daggers at me.
"You will pay for that dearly."
She hisses, before pulling out another crystal and disappearing into its light.
I stare at the drops of blood on the ground where she was standing.
"That.....was awesome!"
A strawberry-blonde haired boy exclaims.
The group walks toward me and I take a few steps back. Surprisingly, the bubble moves with me.
The Sophie girl smiles at me.
"Hi, I'm Sophie. What's your name?"
I bite my lip, wondering if I should tell these strangers who I am.
A Flash of light saves me from having to answer, and a man appears on the side of the clearing.
He is tall, with dark hair and blue eyes.
Beautiful blue eyes that I'll never ever forget. Dads blue eyes.
I gasp and scream, stumbling back, before falling to the ground.
Then black surrounds me.
