~Springlock~

"Why me?? I have my own crew to manage, and we have a lot of repairing to do to this town." I say.

"The town has been almost rebuilt, you were unconscious for 5 months." Nightmare said to me.

I was out cold for 5 MONTHS??? Jesus, I must have been extremely damaged. I look at my nightmare bear with a look of shock and disbelief. May be the only reason I don't feel any pain, repairs would have healed by now. Nightmare sat next to me with an arm around me.

"But why must I take Megatrons place? I'm not evil or bloodthirsty. What about that Starscream guy?" I ask.

"Starscream is a true coward, he could hardly lead his Seeker Armada. Notice there are no other seekers other than himself. You do not have to lead like Megatron once did, you may lead however you wish to." Shockwave pointed out.

I stood up from the slab but my legs felt weak and I was dizzy, I began to fall forward but Nightmare caught me from behind. He helped me stand up and had my arm around his neck, his hand on my hip to keep me steady. Shockwave came over to us.

"We will continue this conversation another time, for now you must rest and take it easy for a few weeks. Do not walk on your own until you have regained your strength." Shockwave ordered.

"We will do that, Shockwave. Now Springlock, we're going home." Nightmare smiled.

"To the Dark Night." I say. But Nightmare shook his head no.

"No, actually. We now have a house here on Haven, we still have the ship but it is currently next to Town Hall in case we need it. Every one in the crew has officially made this planet their home, lots of them became couples too." Nightmare explained as he helped me walk through the corridors.

Everyone feels at home here, just like in the past. I cannot wait to see it back to its former glory, perhaps even better. We got to the exit, and I could not believe my eyes. It's gorgeous, it's just like how I remember it and so much more. A smile came upon my face and I hugged Nightmare as tight as I could despite my weakness.

"I knew you could do it! You've made me the happiest bunny alive, you...rebuilt my home." Oily tears slide down my cheeks.

"It wasn't easy, but we did it with a lot of help. Now let's get you to the house, we live in a very special place." Nightmare swept me off my feet into his arms and carried me out of the ship.

|40 minutes later|

Nightmare has carried me for 40 minutes and finally set me down when we got to what looked like a large gate, a gated community. I hate gated communities, people within have similar or exact same houses and act like snobs. But when a guard at the entrance opened the gate, I was rather surprised to see completely different houses with each and every crew member right there. Including NightShade, Springbonnie and Amelia. They were all smiling, even the ones who are hard core.

"Look who's back and well!!" Nightmare yelled.

Everyone cheered and put their right fists in the air, the overwhelming feeling of happiness and joy wash over me. I felt the tears slide down my cheeks yet again, it feels heartwarming that they all care. Springbonnie and Amelia came up to us first, they gently hugged me and were careful of pulling me from Nightmare. Amelia had tears rolling down her face as did Springbonnie, they pulled back.

"We missed you so much, Spring." Amelia said.

"You scared us to death, we thought you were gone...but we couldn't be more happy to be wrong." Springbonnie said.

"It's so good to see you again, as well as the rest of you." I say with a smile.

"For now, Springlock must rest. So you may all go about your business." Nightmare announced.

The crew nodded and went about their business, most of them to their houses with their significant others. Nightmare leads me towards one of the much larger houses, the largest in the gated community in fact. This can't be ours, we don't need this big of a home.

"Here it is." He said.

"Jeez, we don't need a home this large Nightmare." I giggled.

"The citizens insisted that you get a very nice home for freeing them and their children in the dead of night. They even helped build this community for us since we were a part of your crew." Nightmare took us into our new home.

We walk through the door to see a beautiful deep blue hallway leading to a large living room, we head down the hall and the living room was much like the one back in my old house only much larger. The furniture was the same as well as the color of the walls, Nightmare set me down on the couch and handed me the remote to the rather large television.

"Now you take it easy, Springlock. I will handle things around here while you relax, okay?" He said to me.

"Taking it easy....that's gonna be kinda hard for me. I haven't truly relaxed in years." I say.

"Well now is your time to, now you can pick any channel you'd like just as long as it's not Hallmark..." He shuddered.

Ew Hallmark, those movies are too sappy and awful for my liking. I turned on the tv and started flipping through the channels, there is a very wide variety of channels. Hmmm which to choose? Maybe a movie. I flip until I see the movie channels, FX is my favorite even though it's been years since I've watched tv. It seems to be "How to Train your Dragon 2", I love this movie! I turned in on and began watching.

|2 hours later|

I've been walking through the house even though I shouldn't be. I just can NOT sit still unless I'm meditating. I made it upstairs to what I can assume is our room on my own until my legs finally gave out from under me, I fell and thankfully landed on a rug. Nightmare was out at the moment so I'm on my own. Our room was a bright red with yellow painted swirls upon the walls, another television but a bit smaller, and a large sized bed.

I heard someone coming up the stairs, and I don't know who it is. I tried making it to the bed but whoever it is comes in the doorway.

"Springlock!! How did you get up here?!" It was Nightmare, but I should've known.

"I walked and crawled up here." I answered.

"You're supposed to be resting! Shockwaves orders." He picked me up and laid me in the large bed.

I sort of pouted as he sat next to me.

"Nightmare, I'm antsy. I just can't stay still, plus I wanna see the rest of this house." I said as he pulled the covers over me.

"Springlock, you must stay still for the first week." Shockwave then came into the room.

Nightmare took this as his cue to leave, closing the door left the room. Shockwave then faced me.

"Springlock, we need to talk." He said.

"Shockwave, I don't know if I can be the new leader of the Decepticons. I have my own crew to take care of." I argued.

He sighed, "Just please listen to me, you may reconsider."

I sigh to myself and lean against the headboard of the bed, ready to listen. I gesture for him to continue. Shockwave snuck glances out the doorway and the window

"I overheard Starscream talking to himself right after you left, and he was monologing about destroying this planet when he thinks he will become Lord." He whispered.

"WHAT?? But the town is nearly reconstructed, and this planet could finally be at peace." I say.

"Starscream is more hungry for power than Megatron ever was, he has tried terminating Megatron for years just to take his place. He would destroy this planet without hesitation. But if you were to become leader, you could banish him to the barren wasteland on Cybertron which oddly enough Megatron never did." He explained.

If I became leader of the Decepticons, this world could be at peace like before and can remain peaceful as long as I live. If not, Starscream will destroy it. Shockwave has made a very strong argument for this. It doesn't seem to require much thought on this matter. I look at the scientist.

"If I say yes, does that mean Nightmare will take over my crew?" I ask.

"Your crew and the Decepticons could merge together into one army of troops, that is if you accept to be coronated." Shockwave says.

I don't have to leave my crew! It might be a bit iffy at first if we merge together, but I think it will work itself out over time. Then everyone could be accepted here, including Cybertronians whether Autobot or Decepticon. I smiled.

"Then call me Lord Springlock." I say.
