The whole camp watched as Zeus threw his lightning bolt straight at Perseus Jackson in shock. Shane was smiling, but no one seemed to notice. It impaled him is the chest and he was twisting, shaking, and bolts of electricity had turned his hair burnt and left him with charred skin. He was breathing heavily and looking down at the bolt in shock, his face contorted in a massive amount of pain. Suddenly, the ground shook. Someone erupted from the ground wearing a cape black as night with a hood covering their face. His voice boomed louder than the gods, and he radiated power stronger than any other. The two gods looked at him in shock.

"You!" the man boomed pointing a finger at Zeus. Zeus frowned.

"Lord Chaos, what are you doing here on earth?" Zeus asks, and you can see anger in his eyes. But Chaos was so angry he was trembling.

"Are you all blind? Have you not realized that Perseus-who has saved the world twice-is not crazy?! He was being manipulated, charmspoken, and internally tortured," Chaos says. Zeus looks surprised and confused. Percy is still writhing on the ground, in horrible pain, but still living. His senses are all dulled except pain. He couldn't hear anything but electricity and a ringing in his ears. Pain was clear.

Chaos waved his hand in front of him and pushed an image into the sky. The camp watched at the first day when Shane shoved the stick into his own stomach from Percy's hands, and then how he charmspoke Percy multiple times. How he hid behind that tree and told Percy to attack Annabeth. But Annabeth's expression still remained the same, like nothing Chaos could do could fix the cruel things Percy had done. Then they saw how Shane had kissed Annabeth infront of Percy, and then charmspoke him to kill the camp. Everyone watched in shock as it dawned on them that Perseus was innocent. Except for his close friends.

"Those images could be fake! It was Percy, he hurt innocent people on purpose!" Annabeth cried out. Piper, Jason, and Nico all nodded agreeing. Chaos let out a booming laugh and walked over to Annabeth. He put a hand and stroked it down her chin.

"Poor girl, you think your in love with the one who took your boyfriend beyond his boundary," Chaos said softly. Annabeth slapped his hand away.

"I do love him!" She cried out. Chaos laughed again and another image was showed in the sky. Shane was filling cups of Percy's friends drinks with a red liquid inside whatever the were having. When he poured it in it turned the same color as the drink they were having. Then the image faded.

"This boy-Shane Hardy-ruined Percy Jackson's life. He just wanted power, and to be better than him. So when he figured out he couldn't do it, he destroyed him, starting with the inside of the place he loved. He put a potion inside the drinks of Percy's best friends, and he is able to control them with his mind.

"That's a lie! I control myself!" Jason spit out. Chaos laughed. He waved his hand infront of Percy's friends faces and the red disappeared from their eyes. They stumbled back in shock, and then looked worsen confused.

"What happened?" Annabeth asked. Then she looked down at her hand to see it holding Shane's. She ripped it out and looked disgusted. Chaos looked sadly around the camp.

"As punishment, he will have his charmspeaking abilities taken away, and when he dies, shall go to the fields of punishment," Chaos says. He waves his hand and Shane clutches his throat, stumbling back a little. Then Annabeth's eyes widened and she looked at Percy on the ground, the lightning bolt in his chest. She screamed and ran over to him.

"Percy! Percy no!" She sobbed into his chest, his blood soaking her shirt. Chaos looked around sadly, and then his eyes fall on Shane, then Zeus.

"Do you see what you have done?" He says to them. "You see what you did?" He asks, pointing towards Percy. Poseidon chokes out a sob, when he sees his son, Perseus Jackson, lying dead on the ground.
