The kid followed me everywhere just as I asked. He was the only one in camp who didn't avoid me or clear a path when I walked by. Every scared or horrified face hit me like a brick hitting Jason.

In other words, it hurt.

I headed towards the dining hall and sat down at the new Big Three table. It was me, Jason, and Nico. They didn't want us all alone so they combined it. Today, when I sat down, the kid following me stood about five feet away staring at me. Jason and Nico had already started eating and when I sat down they looked up and froze.

"Um, Perce, why is that kid just standing there and staring at you?" Jason asked.

"I asked Chiron to have a kid watch me just in case I...you know," I say. They look at me concerned.

"You'll get better, right? Chiron has a way to fix this, right?" Nico asks. I close my eyes and take a deep breath.

"Not really. Actually, I'm gonna die," I state. Jason who has just taken a gulp of orange juice spit it all over me. At the same time Nico chokes on his cereal and starts coughing. I wipe my face off with a napkin.

"Dude, not cool," I say.

"Percy what the hell?! Don't brush this off!" Nico says once he has finally swallowed.

"Well, if it happens again. The next time I will die. Basically the-" I cut myself off from saying the gods would kill me. If they knew that they might start raging at the gods and that wouldn't end well.

"If it happens again it will be too much stress for me and I will die," I partially lie.

"Have you told Annabeth?" Asks Nico. I shake my head no. If I told her she would do something crazy. Not let me out of her sight. But I have to be out of her sight so I don't hurt her. Suddenly after Jason finishes his orange juice he coughs and splutters, and his eyes turn red for a split second.

"Jason, did you just choke on your orange juice?" Nico asks, almost laughing. Jason just coughs again.

"You okay?" I ask. He just nods and looks at me strangely. There are red flecks in his eyes, but I dismiss them. I am crazy after all. That's when Nico finishes his glass of water and coughs just like Jason did. The same thing happens with his eyes too.

"Why the hell do you guys keeps choking on drinks?" I ask almost laughing trying to ignore the red flecks in their eyes.

"Uh, I gotta go. See you around Percy," Nico says. Jason nods and get up following him out of the dining pavilion. I frown and continue finishing my blue pancakes.

Across the dining hall little does Percy know, but each of the people left that trust him are having whatever happened to Jason and Nico happen to them. Annabeth coughs on her tea after finishing it. Piper coughs on her orange juice.

I look around the dining hall to see most people have left. There are a couple stragglers who keep glancing in my direction worriedly. Then of course there is the kid following me. He is no longer paying attention to me talking, but looking around bored. I pick at what's left of my blue pancakes and then someone slides into the seat across from me. I see the now familiar face of Shane. He smiles at me. I heard that last night he was claimed by Aphrodite.

"What's up Shane," I sigh looking down at my food.

"Why so blue Percy?" He asks. Then he chuckles at his own joke. I don't laugh.

"Just the casual. Gonna die sometime soon, the usual. You know," Percy says. Shane just laughs.

"That sucks. Hey remember when you tried to kill me? Oh right, you can't," Shane laughs. I look at him confused and that makes him laugh even harder.

"The hero of Olympus twice falling to a son of Aphrodite who just wants to be more powerful, how pathetic," Shane says. I bolt out of my seat and slam my hands on the table infront of Shane who flinches.

"What are you talking about," I growl. Shane laughs but you can hear the nervousness in his voice.

"Your going to find the nearest child of Hermes. Your going to attack him until he dies. But this time you are not going to forget," Shane says. My mind goes foggy and I whip out Riptide. The kid across who was watching me bolts up and whips out a syringe. Fast as lighting I run towards him, grab the syringe and plunge it into his skin pressing it down. Shane laughs and claps his hands in delight like a child receiving candy.

The kid falls to the ground unconscious and I run out the dining hall towards camp. Some campers see me and start yelling. I run towards a Hermes camper who I do not recognize, but I know he is a child of Hermes. I run towards him and tackle the fourteen year old kid to the ground, pressing the sword to his throat. That's when an image next to me makes my head clear and the fogginess disappear.

There sits Shane on the steps of the Athena cabin.

And Annabeth is making out with him.
