I cried out and flew down as fast as I could. I dive into the water and tuck my wings in behind me, my cloak billowing around me in the water. I see Annabeth on the bottom, laying in the sand, no bubbles escaping her mouth. I will the current to take me towards her faster than I can swim. I wrap my arms around her and scoops her up, propelling myself onto the shore. I place her onto the shore, tears pouring down my cheeks. I out my fingers on her neck.

No pulse.

I scream in agony and place both hands on her chest, trying to pump the water out. Nothing. Then I place both hands on her chest, and don't even have to concentrate. The water escapes her mouth, and lands all over her. She doesn't move.

My cloak has wrapped around me and is over my head like usual, and I hear footsteps of campers coming.

"Please wake up, Annabeth. Please..." I mutter. She doesn't stir. I push on her chest again, and noting happens. I know there is no extra water in her, but I keep trying. I sob out of desperation. Apollo campers are rushing towards us on the beach.

Then I do the last thing I can think of. I lean down and breath the life into her, mouth to mouth. I pull away and she bursts up, gasping and choking, gulping in breaths of air.

"Oh my Chaos," I say, and she starts sobbing. The Apollo campers crowd around us, and one picks up Annabeth and they start carrying her away. I sit in the sand, and wipe the tears from my face.

"Why Omega! Why did you do that?!" She screams from the Apollo campers arms as they carry her away.

"I was almost with him! I would've seen Percy again!" She screams louder, but her yells are drowned out when she gets far away enough. I want so badly to show her who I am. I had no idea that she was suicidal, just to be with me. But my duties, they relied on me to save the world.
