Zeleth flew through the storm scanning the mountainsides for his mate and hatchlings.
"Where in the world could they be?" Zeleth said. The wind blew stronger and Zeleth was forced to land on a rocky outcropping. "I have scoured the Chenth Mountains and I haven't seen a single trace of them." He said with a scowl as he landed. "They could only have either left the Chenth Mountains, or they have been captured. But by Rhaegos I swear, I will find them."

Rhaegos was the first Mysticus dragon born, she was born over 1 million years ago in the Nveryioth Peaks. There is a temple named the Temple of Rhaegos located at her birthplace.

"Mom I finished burying the remains of dinner." Crona said

"Good. Bane! Zena! Time for your lessons!" Cyprus called

"We're coming mom!" Bane and Zena said

"Do we have to learn this stuff now mom? Can't learning wait until we get back home?" Crona complained.

"We may not have a home left after this war is over. Besides, you will need this knowledge in the future anyway. Today your lesson will be on the dragon varieties, the elements, and I think I will throw in a bit of our history too." Cyprus started

"Ugh. Not history." Zena groaned

"I think our history is very interesting actually." Bane commented in an 'as a matter of fact' tone of voice

"Specific dragon varieties can harness specific elements. The Ignis dragons can only harness the element of fire. The Ignis Dragons originated in the volcanic areas of our planet, though now they live in virtually every dragon civilization except the Chenth Mountains. Their coloration ranges from mixtures of magentas, reds, oranges, blacks, and coppers. The Glaciem Dragons can only harness the element of ice. The Glaciem Dragons originated in the polar regions of our planet, though now they live in virtually every dragon civilization except the Chenth Mountains. Their coloration ranges from mixtures of blues, turquoises, greys, whites, and silvers. The Fulgur Dragons can only harness the element of lightning. The Fulgur Dragons originated in the desert areas of our planet, though now they live in virtually every dragon civilization except the Chenth Mountains." Cyprus started

"Does every dragon species live everywhere but the Chenth Mountains?" Zena interrupted

"No dummy! We live in the Chenth Mountains!" Crona exclaimed

"Oh" Zena replied

"Anyway, the Fulgur Dragons' coloration ranges from mixtures of yellows, tans, whites, golds, and blacks. The Naturae Dragons can only harness the element of nature. The Naturae Dragons originated in the forested areas of our planet, though now they live in virtually every dragon civilization except the Chenth Mountains. The Naturae Dragons' coloration ranges from mixtures of yellows, greens, cyans, turquoises, and blacks. The Aeris Dragons can only harness the element of wind. The Aeris Dragons originated on the high plateaus and plains areas of our planet, though now they live in virtually every dragon civilization except the Chenth Mountains. Their coloration ranges from mixtures of whites, greys, blue-greys, silvers, blacks, and platinums. The Mysticus Dragons originated in the Chenth Mountsins and they only live in the Chenth Mountains. The Mysticus Dragons can harness all the elements of fire, ice, lightning, nature, wind, and a special element only they can harness called Void, they can also use all varieties of magic and can even control time itself. They have no specific coloration, their coloration ranges all throughout the color spectrum." Cyprus continued

"Mom, I'm thirsty. May I go get a drink from the stream?" Bane asked

"Yes, Bane, you may. But be quick, it's starting to get dark." Crona replied

"Yes mom." Bane called back as he trotted out of the cave.

"Mom, can other dragon varieties visit the Chenth Mountains if they have friends that live there?" Zena asked

"Yes, Zena, they can. Just because they don't live there, doesn't mean they can't visit."

"Why don't they live in the Chenth Mountains, mom?" Crona asked

"Well, magic is everywhere, even in the air we breathe, but in the Chenth Mountains there is a much larger quantity of magic and the other dragon varieties did not evolve with so much magic around them. So, their bodies cannot handle that much magic for extended periods of time. The only way they would survive being exposed to that much magic, is if they were exposed to the amount of magic when they were very young and for long periods of time." Cyprus replied

"Cool" Crona said as she bobbed her head.

"And Mom" Zena said.

"Yes, Zena?" Cyprus replied

"What dragon variety are we?"

"Oh my gosh! Did you really just ask that?!" Crona exclaimed with a disbelieving expression

"Yes, why?" Zena replied with a questioning look

"We are Mysticus dragons you moron! You would know that if you had listened better!" Crona says as she face-palms

"Crona! Don't be mean!" Cyprus scolded

"Ok mom, I'm back." Bane said as he squeezed between his glaring sisters

"Does anybody need anything else before I continue?" Cyprus asked

"No" the siblings said in unison

"Ok, One family of Mysticus dragons are the rulers of all the dragon world, the kingship is passed down from father to son but as to who the current rulers are no dragon knows. This is because the knowledge of who is in the royal line has been lost since the War of the Dark Forest 5 millenia ago, the dragon world has compromised by having the priest of the Temple of Rhaegos temporarily rule, the royal family are descended directly from Rhaegos. The Nveryioth Peaks are located in the center of the Chenth Mountain Range and are where the royal family would reside, as well as the Temple of Rhaegos, the royal gardens, housing for guests, and a small city on the western end of the peaks. The King as well as his successors and predecessors posses abilities that only they can can posses, which is the power of teleportation and the element of Light, the element of Light is the more powerful form of Void." Cyprus finished

"Why haven't any dragons known who the King is since the War of the Dark Forest?" Crona asked with a confused look

"Because, during the War of the Dark Forest the King disappeared and was never seen again." Cyprus answered

"That's terrible!" Crona exclaimed

"Yes, it is." Cyprus replied sadly

"Maybe if I find Cirrus and Raziel they can help me with my search." Zeleth thought to himself

As Zeleth flew over the Nveryioth Peaks he spotted something shiny in the shadows. "I wonder what that could be" Zeleth thought to himself. Zeleth pulled his wings close to his sides and shot down to where he saw the shiny item. As he opened his wings to slow himself down while he landed, a black dragon shot out of its hiding place and pinned Zeleth to the ground. Zeleth pulled his paw back to strike the black dragon, but when he looked up he stopped short "Cirrus?" Zeleth said with a surprised expression. "Zeleth?" the black dragon replied with an equally surprised expression as he backed off of Zeleth.

"Cirrus is it really you?" Zeleth asked

"I'm as much me as you are you, brother." Cirrus replied with a goofy grin

"I've been looking everywhere for you and Raziel! Is Raziel with you?" Zeleth asked

"Yes, she's waiting in a nearby cave while I am hunting." Cirrus replied

"Well you won't find much in that little hole you were hiding in." Zeleth commented with a laugh

"Speaking of which, how did you find me anyways?" Cirrus asked with a smirk

"Your tail spade was in the sun and it made quite the light show when you moved." Zeleth answered with an amused look

"Oh, oops!" Cirrus said with an embarrassed expression
