The guilt from being a relatively good person,
Is it really rational?
When the feeling of selflessness has gone,
Is is really that message that is seen by all?

When it feels like boasting and pride,
And I stop doing good while others can see.
The good can get pushed aside
And, very aware, I halt where the good path has taken me.
