Rhydon: Hello, and welcome. I'm standing here on one of the lovely islands of
Poke-Pelago just off the coast of Alola. There are a lot of places to explore here in the Pokémon World but there is now even more to discover. With the human world now available for exploration things are bound to get interesting. Intrigued? Good. Because the first episode of The Rhydonculous Race starts now! (Grins and winks at the camera)

(Theme song)

Rhydon: As I mentioned just before, I am here on an island of poke-pellago. And it is owned by-

Raichu: (butts in) Hey everyone! It's me Raichu! Who else would you have thought?

Rhydon: That's right, my good friend Raichu is allowing us to use his island for the first challenge. Thanks for that man.

Raichu: No prob dude. (They fist bump)

Rhydon: Okay but seriously, I have to explain the rules now. (Raichu leaves) So the rules are simple. Twenty teams of two will be arriving here any minute to embark on their trip around the world. Once here, the race will begin and they will have to race to this (motions to a big ticket dispenser that looks like Rhydon) This is a Rhydon Box. Tap the top of it to receive your tip. Your tips lead you through the race. So after teams follow the tips and complete the challenges they will reach a golden carpet which we call the chill zone. This is basically a checkpoint for the race. So, be the last team here and (makes a crackling noise) you are out of the race. So enough explaining aside because it looks like the boats with our competitors are arriving. Let's go meet them.

(On the dock of Total Drama Pokémon island)

Rhydon: Perfect timing because our first boat is here. (A boat arrives) Meet our first team, Squirtle and Bulbasaur, the Lifelong Friends.

Squirtle: Um, who are you talking to?

Bulbasaur: The camera and everyone at home! We've been on Total Drama Pokémon twice, don't you know this?

Squirtle: Ha! You know me better than that. (They both laugh)

Rhydon: Glad to have you two here. You can use the dual confessional and then wait over by the starting line.

Bulbasaur: Thanks. (He and Squirtle leave)

Rhydon: Hmmm. What nice boys.

(Team Confessional)
Squirtle: I may have just come off of winning Total Drama Pokémon Regional Tour but I don't need a break. I'm on fire and ready to go! Woo whooo!

Bulbasaur: Yeah! This is gonna be great. Nobody is closer than the two of us. We are gonna win this together! (They high five)

Rhydon: And here comes team number two. Machoke and Weavile, the Athletes.

Weavile: Team number two? Sorry to correct you but Machoke and I are champion athletes. We're always number one.

Rhydon: Err, um, right. Sorry about that.

(Team Confessional)
Weavile: Yes that's right, I am that Weavile. The very one who is a champion runner.

Machoke: And I'm the super strong Machoke that's a champion weightlifter. Want me to flex for all you at home?

Weavile: I'm sure nobody wants to see that. (Machoke narrows his eyes) But yeah, this race should be a snap for trained athletes like us, and I for one am looking forward to the million dollar prize.

Rhydon: (holding his hand to his ear) What's that? Uh huh. Okay. (Pauses) So, the producers informed me about the whole Pokémon gender conundrum. You see, Pokémon can look the same and be different genders so I'll be stating their genders as I introduce them. Wouldn't want you to assume now, would we? Bulbasaur, Squirtle and Machoke are boys. Weavile is a girl. And speaking of girls, we have two more up next. (Two Pokémon step off a boat) Hello Roserade and Cherrim, the Gardeners.

Roserade: It's a great day for the race Rhydon. The sun is shiny, the breeze is cooling. Perfection.

Cherrim: And I just adore the sunshine! (Jumps up and down with excitement)
Ya-hooo! Let's get this race started!

Rhydon: Easy tiger. We still got a bunch more teams. (Cherrim frowns) Why don't you two use the confessional while you wait?

(Team Confessinal)
Roserade: So, yeah... Well, we're grass types who love plants and nature. (Cherrim eagerly nods) We love tending to all the different berry plants and we hope we can win to buy some land just for Berry fields!

Rhydon: Here comes our next team! It's Chespin and Chikorita, Boyfriend and Girlfriend. Two of the nicest Pokémon you'll meet, who fit perfectly together. Chespin is a boy, Chikorita is a girl.

Chespin: Hey Rhydon. Nice to meet you.

Chikorita: Yeah, nice to meet you.

Rhydon: Good meeting you two too.

(Team Confessinal)
Chespin: I met my girl Chikorita on Total Drama Pokémon. And from the moment I saw her, I knew she was the one.

Chikorita: Awe Chespin... (starts to daydream but then snaps outta it) So, yeah, we are an awesome pair and we totally have the skills to win! Plus, Snivy won't be here to mess with us. Bonus!

Rhydon: Time to introduce our fifth team. We have Frosslass and Banette, the Fortune Tellers. Banette is a boy and Froslass is a girl (They arrive) Hey guys. You were one of the teams that intrigued me the most. Fortune Tellers aren't people you come across too often. (Banette and Froslass just walk right by) Ooookkkay... Well, guess they aren't too friendly.

(Team Confessional)
Froslass: I honestly don't enjoy socializing too much. I'm too busy listening to all the ghosts around me helping me predict the future.

Banette: (spookily laughs) Yeah. Froslass is great. We look into her ice ball and can predict the future with it. It's awesome. We'll use it to our advantage, that's for sure!

Rhydon: Wow. Looks like we've got two teams at once here. (Jolteon, Sylveon, Glaceon and Leafeon exit the boat) Wow again, you're all Eeveelutions too.

Jolteon: Yep. But I'm still not sure why the twins are here.

Glaceon: Hey! Just because we are younger doesn't mean that you're better! We can beat you guys easily. (The four Eeveelutions walk off)

Rhydon: Okay, so the teams were Jolteon and Sylveon, the Eeveelution Siblings. And Glaceon and Leafeon, the Eeveelution Twins. And as you may have guessed, they are all a part of one big family. Guess we'll have family competing against each other. Cool.

(Team Confessinal)
Sylveon: I'm really excited to be doing this race with Jolteon. He's the oldest in our big family and I admire him the most.

Jolteon: Thanks sis. I just still can't believe Glaceon and Leafeon are doing this. And this is a race so we can't take time to look after them!

Sylveon: They're only like a year younger than you. They'll be fine.

Glaceon: Hello to all our brothers and sisters out there! That's Umbreon, Espeon, Vaporeon, Flareon-

Leafeon: And a special hey to our coolest little sister in the world, Eevee!

Glaceon: So Leafeon and I are the twins in our family. Jolteon is the oldest. Then comes Vaporeon, Flareon, Sylveon and then us. We are gonna win to make our family proud!

Rhydon: Woo weee. To think we've only done seven out of the twenty teams. Bare with me here. So next we have the Artists, Litten and Smeargle. Two fine guys who know everything about art and hope to win for more supplies and to make their art famous.

Litten: Sup dude. (Fist bumps Rhydon then looks at the camera) Hey Fennekin! Love you babe!

Rhydon: How thoughtful of you.

Litten: Grrr. It wasn't really thoughtful. I'll have you know that I'm more of vandal than an artist but our team name can stick.

(Team confessional)
Litten: Yeah, I'm a tough guy alright. Sure I miss my girl Fennekin because I love her and... (faceplams) Ugh! Why'd I say that? (Shakes head) Look I'm in it to win it with my best bud Smeargle. We've been friends since we were little. (Smeargle just stares at the camera) Yeah, he doesn't talk much. (Smeargle starts to drool) Or do much. (Sighs) Ugh, Fennekin why'd you have to go on your yacht vacation with your family!?

Rhydon: Our next team has finally arrived and they are both Total Drama Pokémon veterans. It's Piplup and Turtwig, the Love Birds.

Piplup: (eyes widen) I'm sorry, we're called what now? (Angrily) WE ARE NOT DATING!!!

Turtwig: This is insane! I AM NOT A BIRD!

Rhydon: Sorry guys but the team names are final. But wasn't this the name that you chose?
(Raichu is heard laughing in the background)

Piplup: (angrily) UGH!! RAICHU!!! (Storms off)

Turtwig: Piplup wait! (Chases after her)

(Team Confessional)
Piplup: Um, I've been told that I can get upset easily at times but you know what? Who cares! I know that I have the skills and Turtwig has the skills to win this thing!

Turwtig: Yeah! That's the spirit. And with my smarts on Pokémon we'll be sure to win.

Piplup: Ahh winning... Its always been a dream of mine to compete on this show but winning? Ooh that'd be more than a dream come true!

Rhydon: The tenth team has arrived. Meet Sandshrew and Vulpix, the Fashion Designers. Both have exceptional taste in fashion and love to set the newest trends. Vulpix is a girl and Sandshrew is a boy.

Sandshrew: Hello!

Vulpix: Yeah, um, hi!

Rhydon: Nice scarf may I add.

Vulpix: Thanks. Made it myself! And you can buy your own on our fashion website!

Rhydon: Okay, okay. That's enough self publicity.

(Team Confessional)
Vulpix: I competed on season two of Total Drama Pokémon and I guess I did okay on it.

Sandshrew: Okay!? Vulpix you rocked it! Regardless of your placing, you proved that you can compete while looking great.

Vulpix: Thanks Sandshrew. (To the camera) Sandshrew and I have been friends for years and we are hoping to get some publicity on the show for all of our fashion creations on our website. We are gonna totally win this thing too!

Rhydon: To think, we are only halfway done announcing teams. But hey, I assure the future episodes will be packed with loads of action and drama. Anywho, just arriving now are the Gamers, Shinx and Meowstic. Both of them are boys who spend most of their days playing the lastest electronics and such.

Meowstic: (looks up from his phone) Oh hey. Don't mind us, just playing some games on our phones. (Walks by)

(Team confessional)
Meowstic: I'm pretty psyched to be doing this race with my little bud Shinx. (Motions to Shinx who is on his phone) He may seem little but we are actually super close in age. He's the guy who's always been there for me in school when I'm getting picked on... Shinx? Shinx are you listening?

Shinx: Oh sorry Meowstic. I was just playing Human Go. I just caught a super rare Steven!

Meowstic: What? No way! The evolved form of Steve? And you weren't gonna tell me? (To the camera) Be right back! Gaming calls! (He and Shinx rush off)

Rhydon: Here are Popplio and Totodile, the Jokesters. Two happy go lucky water types who are great friends.

Totodile: Hello! Hello! (Starts jumping up and down) I'm so excited to finally be in a competition again. By the way, my names Totodile.

Rhydon: Yeah, I know that... I'm the host... (there is an awkward moment of silence) Anywho you guys can go use the team confessional now.

Popplio: Okay, WATER we waiting for!?!? (Laughs hysterically) Get it!? (An annoyed Rhydon nods)

(Team Confessional)
Popplio: Total Drama Pokémon was a pretty cool experience but it was hard making friends and then losing them. But on this show Totodile and I are a package deal! (They high five each other) So when he gets out, I get out. We are all in this togeth-AIR-iados! (He and Totodile laugh)

Raichu: Also competeing this season are Bellossom and Oricorio, the Dancers. They are both girls and Oricorio is the red type of Oricorio.

Oricorio: (steps off boat) I am a Baile styled Oricorio, not just a red Oricorio.

Rhydon: Cool accent. Do you always roll the r sounds when you speak?

Oricorio: (in her Spanish accent) Corrrrrect.

Bellossom: Hey. I'm Bellossom. Nice to meet you. (Shakes Rhydon's hand)

(Team Confessional)
Bellossom: Oricorio and I met at our dancing school. With both have different dreams-

Oricorio: I am going to become the best tango and flamenco dancer in the world.

Bellossom: Um, yeah. And I'm just trying to become an expert on all things dancing. So as I was saying before, we may be taking different paths in the world of dance but that won't stop us from maintaining our friendship.

Rhydon: Our next team is... the Huggers? (Turns to the camera crew) Did I read that right? The Huggers? You sure that's the team name? (A Bewear and Smoochum exit the boat) Oh, guess it was. And it says here Bewear is a boy and Smoochum is a girl. (Bewear runs up and hugs Rhydon) Okay... Too tight! TOO TIGHT!!! (Smoochum joins in on the hug and kisses Rhydon before walking off) Ugh. Now that, was weird.

(Team Confessinal)
Bewear: Um, Smoochum and I believe there is nothing better in the world than the power of love. Hugs are most effective way to show love. And we believe actions speak louder than words. (The two begin hugging each other)

Rhydon: Now that I got the lipstick off my face it's time for the next team. Welcome Pachirisu and Togedemaru, New Friends.

Pachirisu: Yes! We are finally here! We are so gonna win Togedemaru.

Togedemaru: Yeah, yeah. (Rolls eyes) Whatever.

(Team Confessional)
Pachirisu: Yeah, Togedemaru sometimes likes to act like he doesn't care but trust me, he does.

Togedemaru: Got me there. I'm just happy to be working with Pachirisu again. (Turns to Pachirisu) You were an awesome teammate last season and all... But yeah, FYI, hope you at home understand sarcasm because I use that a lot.

Pachirisu: Boring talk aside, I placed second on Total Drama Pokémon Regional Tour but that's not good enough for me. This champion acrobat won't be satisfied until she brings home the prize! Yeah! (Pumps her fist in the air)

Rhydon: Our next team is the Ice Skaters. The team consists of the two girls, Surskit and Delcatty. Both professional and friendly rival ice skaters.

Surskit: SKRT SKRT!!!

Rhydon: What?

Surskit: Sorry, Delcatty said she'd give me five dollars if I did that on T.V. Hand it over girl. (Delcatty pulls out a five dollar bill)

Rhydon: So yeah. Feel free to mingle with the other teams and use the confessional. I'll tell you this, your not the only olympians here. (The Ice Skaters look at each other)

(Team Confessional)
Delcatty: We may compete against each other in our sport but that doesn't make us enemies. The jokes on you movie cliches, we are like best friends!

Surskit: You got that right! We've both won gold at the Olympics before and we hope to win gold here too. (Pauses) Metaphorical that is.

Rhydon: Next up are Buneary and Flaaffy, the Contest Stars. Both girls are pros when it comes to Pokémon Contests and hope those skills can take them far.

Buneary: Finally! We're here. I was beginning to get a little sea sick on that boat.

(Team Confessional)
Buneary: Flaaffy and I have been best friends for like, ever! We are just super similar in so many ways. I prefer the first rounds of contests with all the prettiness of the moves and Flaaffy loves the Contest Battling and she is amazing at it! She may be sweet but she is still one tough cookie. And we are gonna win this race! (They high five each other)

Rhydon: And we've only got three teams left. Wait, make that two because here are Buizel and Oshawott, Cousins. They are both boys.

Oshawott: Um... Hi. (Shyly waves)

Buizel: Oh yeah! This race is gonna be epic. Thanks for having us Rhydon.

Rhydon: Anytime. After all it's your funeral.

Oshawott: Wait what?

Rhydon: (nervously) I said team confessional is that way. Heheheh.

(Team Confessinal)
Oshawott: I'm sorta nervous about competing but I'm glad I get to do it with my cousin Buizel.

Buizel: Totally! And we're gonna go all the way to the end. I'm strong, fast, smart and charming too. (Winks to the camera) Totally Oshawott's role model. (gives Oshawott a nuggy) But, hey this guy's gotta go a long way to be as cool as me.

Oshawott: What? Um, we are the same age so why are you treating me like I'm your younger brother? (Buizel nervously shrugs) But yeah this competition might get a bit scary but Buizel will help me through it all. Yay! (Fist bumps Buizel)

Rhydon: Second to last, we have Primeape and Tepig, the Acquaintances. (They come off the boat) So guys, I was told that-

Primeape: Shut up! (Makes a fist) Or have you forgotten that fighting is super effective on rock types such as yourself. (Leaves dragging Tepig as Rhydon looks scared and then just shrugs)

(Team Confessional)
Primeape: I am here to FINALLY WIN!!! I definitely am the best so therefore I will win. No doubt in my mind. Even with stupid Tepig acting as dead weight, I am still gonna win.

Tepig: Hey! If it wasn't for me you wouldn't have found a partner for this! But I wanted to help Primeape out because his promised me a box of donuts. (Licks his lips) Mmm, a dozen pastries of perfection...

Primeape: Yep, WHEN we win I get one million dollars and Tepig gets twelve donuts.

Rhydon: And finally the last boat has arrived.

Raichu: (comes up) Hey Rhydon, mind if I help them out?

Rhydon: Not at all. (Raichu enters the boat and comes back out alongside his niece and nephew Pichuette and Pichu) That was quick. Anyways meet Pichu and Pichuette, the Pichu Twins. Pichu is a boy and Pichuette is a girl.

Pichu: Oh yeah! Finally we get to compete in all the action!

Pichuette: Settle down bro, we need to focus if we wanna win.

Raichu: Alright you two, you'll be on your own from here on out. You good? (The Pichu Twins nod) Good. Now get out there! (Pushes the two away) Ahh, they grow up so fast.

Rhydon: Wow I'm impressed. They are very mature for being the only kids in the cast. The rest are teens but they're just kids.

Raichu: Oh trust me, mention candy and the kid in them will come out. But you know, otherwise, yeah they are EXTREMELY mature for their age. Never thought of that.

(Team Confessional)
Pichuette: Ooh the confessional! Quick, is my bow on right?

Pichu: (slightly rude) Yeah its fine but why did you get the bow? They can already tell us apart due to my spiky ear.

Pichuette: Well your spiky ear is just stupid and a dumb birth defect! (The two start to tussle but then they suddenly stop) Oops... Sorry about that. We are twins so it IS only natural for us to fight. But having a twin isn't bad at all because right from birth you have your best friend. (They both smile)

Rhydon: (to the camera) Yikes. Now that was a pain. We FINALLY introduced all the teams.
Aye-yei-yei, too much blabbering on and on. So, sorry if that boring stuff took so long but at least it's outta the way now! Please tune in next time because all the drama and action going to begin! *OMG I'm sorry that chapter was so long. My apologizes if it was painful to read through. I just had to introduce the teams as fast and orderly as possible because there are fourtey competitors. The most I ever had. So if you didn't like this please give the next episode a chance because that's what the whole series will be like. I assure you the whole series isn't as dull as this first part lol
