Rhydon: Last time on the Rhydonculous Race, the contestants arrived in the Netherlands. They had to overcome flat tires, spinning blades, and had to go bowling with cheese wheels! It was an interesting day if I do say so myself. The Athletes managed to come in first place (rolls eyes) which I'm sure we were all thrilled about. In the end, the Pichu Twins struggled a bit and their childish antics got the better of them and they arrived in last. We ended up saying goodbye to the cute youngsters, (frowns but then smiles) but hey, now that means we are down to the final five teams! Who will lose it all today? Find out now, on... (heavily smiles and winks at the camera) the Rhydonculous Race

(Theme song: at the chill zone in the Netherlands)

Rhydon: Whelp, you all know the drill! Athletes step on up to get the first tip!

Machoke: Alright let's get this leg going!

Weavile: (grabs a tip and her face lights up) We are going to Greece! Yes!

(Elsewhere)

Rhydon: Greece. While I for one may love their cuisine there are other aspects of it too. Such as the ever so popular and stereotypical Olympic challenges! Which surprise surprise, our competitors will have in store for them today! Plus, we have got even more interesting challenges ahead for today.

(Back at the chill zone)

Weavile: Quickly! To the airport!

(At the airport)

Machoke: (yelling at Quagsire) Give us two tickets on the next flight to Greece! NOW!

Weavile: And tell us, when does the flight take off?

Quagsire: Um, in about ten minutes.

Machoke: Well make it take off once we get on! We are in a race and need to leave these other losers in the dust!

Chikorita: Excuse me?

Weavile: What? How did you guys beat us here?

Chespin: Oh don't worry, it's not just us. (Motions to the other teams behind him)

Wevaile: EVERYONE!? HOW!?

Machoke: Calm down Weavile... just, just get on the plane.

(On the plane)

Vulpix: Well we've got a couple of hours to kill... anything new?

Sandshrew: Um not really... (pauses) So, guess we should expect some athletic challenges today.

Vulpix: (frowns) Yeah. That puts us at a total disadvantage.

Sandshrew: Well honestly, none of our other competitors are really athletes except for Buizel, and well, (laughs) the Athletes of course.

Vulpix: You've got a point.

Sandshrew: But you're kinda athletic, you used to do cheerleading- (Vulpix covers his mouth)

Vulpix: SHUT UP! (Everyone on the plane looks at them) Oops... S-sorry about that.

(In confessional)
Vulpix: Yes I used to be on the cheerleading team but I don't do that anymore! The girls there were not nice to me and then I messed up the routine and... Ah! I don't need to talk about this!

(Elsewhere on the plane)

Shinx: Meowstic will this be anything like the Mario and Sonic at the Olympic Games kind of challenges?

Mewostic: Shinx how should I know?

Shinx: I dunno...

Mewostic: And even if they were we wouldn't be using a controller. You know, running is much different then mashing the A button or swinging the remote back and forth.

Shinx: (laughs) Yeah, yeah you are right about that. Well regardless, I really hope we can survive this leg.

Meowstic: Me too buddy. We are so close to the end! We got this!

(Elsewhere)

Rhydon: (to the camera) And look at that, useless banter on the plane. (sighs) Lets just fast forward to the plane landing. Good? Good.

(Sometime later when the plane lands in Greece; the teams rush out of the airport and into taxis)

Oshawott: Woah that was fast... so where does the tip say we are heading?

Buizel: We are heading to the Parthenon duh! It's only the most iconic landmark in Greece.

Oshawott: True... I just hope we don't have a bunch of Olympic challenges today...

Buizel: Why not cous? You know I would totally rock them!

Oshawott: Yeah but you know I'm not all that fond of sports.

Buizel: Yeah, well don't worry. Even if you're dead weight you're still awesome!

Oshawott: Thanks Buizel! (Realizes what he said) HEY!!

(The taxis arrive at the Parthenon and the teams all rush out)

Sandshrew: Hurry get the tip!

Chespin: What's our first challenge?

Meowstic: (reading the tip) Go for the gold in three different events to make it to the semi finals...

(Elsewhere)

Rhydon: (to the camera) Yup, today's gonna be a day full of Olympic events. And in each of the following challenges, only one team member needs to get the gold, but both can attempt to win it. However, of course, all these challenges will have a special twist (laughs) Wouldn't be total drama if they didn't now would it? Now for the first Olympic themed challenge, teams must successfully complete the hurdle course. They will be penalized for knocking down a hurdle, and must finish in under fifty seconds to get the gold. But beware of hidden tricks and obstacles! Then after that it's on to the gymnastics challenge where teams can chose between a plethora of gymnastics events. They just must get a perfect score from none other than me, who will be fed a line from our judge panel back at the studio of course. And last but not least, for the third event, they must successfully complete a javelin event with an archery twist. In essence what I mean here is that they must throw the javelin into the bullseye on the grass. The bullseye is pretty far away so they'll need strength and good aim to complete this. Then after that, teams must book it and search for the chill zone. (Takes several deep breaths) Phew! Now that was quite the mouthful. Can I get some water or something?

(At the challenge)

Chespin: Look the hurdles are right over there! (All the teams rush over to the start)

Weavile: Hmph. This should be a piece of cake. Hurdles are nothing more than a mere warm up for me.

Machoke: Yeah you are awesome at this kind of stuff Weavile!

Weavile: (smiles) Yes I know. Now you can just sit back and relax because I undoubtedly have this in the bag.

Chikorita: I guess we should both try? No harm in both of us trying it right?

Chespin: (Nods) Yeah agreed.

Vulpix: Ugh, let's just get this over with I guess- (Sandshrew stops her) Huh?

Sandshrew: Hang in a sec. I'm thinking... what if we watch the others try a few times?

Vulpix: Seriously? Okay you know I'm afraid of doing this as much as you now, but we are in the final five! We can't keep messing around!

Sandshrew: Okay, okay, I know that. BUT, what if we watch the other teams first so we can see where the traps are?

Vulpix: (stands there silent for a moment) Wow, that's actually a super smart idea. Good thinking.

Meowstic: Alright Shinx, lets do it!

Buizel: Just leave this thing to me cous.

(Weavile, Chespin, Chikorita, Buizel, Shinx and Meowstic all prepare to run. They all take off at the same time, but Shinx runs straight into the first hurdle and Meowstic hits the third one and falls)

Meowstic: Oww...

Chikorita: (Jumping over hurdles) Yes! So far so good!

Weavile: (snickers) You stand no chance you weak grass types. (Shoots an Ice Shard and hits Chikorita and she crashes into a hurdle) Ha!

Chepsin: Oh no Chikorita! (Glares at Weavile and keeps running, but then fully turns and tackles Weavile)

Weavile: AH! Oh you ass now this run is completely screwed.

Chespin: Well thats what you get for trying to sabotage us. (Gets up) A taste of your own medicine.

Buizel: (running and jumping) Yes! Almost there! (Jumps over a hurdle and lands on a pit trap and falls) Ow! What? Are you kidding me!?

(In Confessional)
Buizel; Okay seriously? A pit trap? What kind of BS Is that? I was this close (motions with his hands) to winning and now, boom back to square one. (Sighs and looks angry) I think I deserve the million bucks after putting up with all this shows shenanigans.

Oshawott; Yikes... looks like none of them got it...

Machoke: Ugh, Weavile needs to learn that sometimes you don't have to mess with the other teams to win.

Sandshrew: (to Vulpix) Okay, so it looks like there is an electrical wire on the tenth hurdle, and a pit trap after the twentieth, so remember to be careful of that.

Vulpix: (nods) Alright. Got it.

Chikorita: (walling back with Chespin) Ugh stupid Weavile... can't we catch a break for once?

Chespin: I know right. But hey at least she went down with us. (Laughs a little)

Meowstic: (Looks at Shinx) Ready for take two? (Shinx nods) Alright lets go! (They both crash into hurdles almost immediately)

(Team Confessional)
Meowstic: (holding an ice pack to his head) Yeah... so that stereotype of all gamers being unathletic... yeah maybe it's kinda true.

Shinx: Hey don't say that! Come on we can still do this! We made it this far right?

Meowtsic: Yeah that's true. (Smiles) Always appreciate your optimism Shinx.

Sandshrew: Ready? Go! (Vulpix takes off running and jumping over hurdles) Alright now watch out for the wire!

Vulpix: (jumps over that hurdle) Yes! Don't worry, I got it. (Makes it time the hurdle with the pit trap and stops a moment in order jump even farther and over the pit)

Sandshrew: Hurry cross the finish you're almost out of time! (Vulpix crosses the finish line)

Vulpix: Did I make it?

Sandshrew: (looks at the timer) FOURTY-SEVEN SECONDS!!! (They jump up and down and cheer)

Weavile: (angry) What? I'm sorry, WHAT!? SHE DID IT? ARE YOU KIDDING ME!?

Vulpix: Just because it's an athletic competition doesn't mean you don't have to use your brain. (Smirks)

Chikorita: Awesome job Vulpix!

Vulpix: Thanks. I'm sure you'll get it done too, best of luck.

Sandshrew: Come on, to the next challenge.

(The Fashion Designers run off as the other teams continue to try to complete the hurdle challenge)

Buizel: (finishes running) YES! I did it! What's my time cous?

Oshawott: Fourty-one seconds.

Buizel: (starts dancing) Oh yeah, I'm awesome. Who's the champ? Buizel! That's me-

Oshawott: But you knocked over two hurdles so with the penalties that's one second over...

Buizel: (record scratch in his head) Wha- Aw man are you kidding me!?

(Back at the start)

Chespin: Alright, ready to go again? Get enough water?

Chikorita: (nods) Mhm yeah. I'm totally ready. (The Athlethes look over at them smiling and laughing)

(Team Confessional)
Weavile: So here's the plan, I'll be running as normal and now that I know all the gimmicks I will surely pass the challenge.

Machoke: And since only one of us needs to win, I'll throw myself at stupid team Boyfriend and Girlfriend to sabotage them. (Laughs) Let's do this!

Chespin; And... GO! (They take off running alongside the Athletes, and as they near the end of the track Machoke tackles both Chespin and Chikorita as Weavile makes it to the finish)

Weavile: YESSS! Machoke we did it!

Machoke: (gets up) Woo hoo! Alright!

Chespin: Ow... what the heck? (Stands up) Can't you ever play fair? That was totally uncalled for!

Wevaile: (laughs) Oh you should know the answer to that now. Come on Machoke let's go! (The Athletes run off)

Chikorita: YEAH YOU BETTER RUN!

Chespin: Chikorita it's okay... don't worry, we can still do this.

Buizel: (crosses the finish) Alright! Made it again!

Oshawott: Holy cannoli that was fast! Thirty seven seconds and you only knocked down one hurdle! Awesome job!

Buizel: Aww yeah! Later! (Grabs Oshawott and runs off)

Chespin: (sighs) And it looks like it's just us and the Gamers now...

(At the Gymnastics challenge)

Rhydon: Welcome Fashion Designers, you are the first to the second challenge. Now then, have a look around and here's a list of the events you can choose from.

Sandshrew: (nervously chuckles) Yeah... this is gonna be all on you again...

Vulpix: Heh, don't worry Sandshrew. But if you really feel bad, you can buy me a new outfit and matching shoes to make up for it.

Sandshrew: Done and done.

Vulpix: Hmm, what about the balance beam? That shouldn't be too hard.

Rhydon: For that one you must do three cartwheels in a row without falling off the balance beam.

Vulpix: (gulps) Alright that sounds harder that I thought but still, no biggie. (Hops on the balance beam) Okay and... (starts to do the cartwheel but falls and hits her head on the beam and falls)

Sandshrew: Ooh! (Winces away)

Rhydon: Yikes. That's gonna leave a mark for sure. (The Athlethes arrive, followed by the Cousins) Oh hey guys, welcome to challenge two. Get cracking!

(Back at the hurdles)

Meowstic: (out of breath) Well. At least we're- getting closer. (Takes a bunch of deep breaths)

Shinx: Agh, this isn't working. We need a new strategy.

Meowstic: I'm afraid there's no strategy to do this any better...

Chespin: Alright let's try again. (He and Chikorita start running. Chespin trips hallways through) Dammit... (screaming) Keep going Chikorita!

Chikorita: (to herself) You can do this. You can do this! (Jumps over the final hurdle) ALRIGHT!!!

Chespin: WOOO HOOO! THATS MY GIRLFRIEND!! (Runs up and gives her a hug)

Chikorita: Come on lets go! (They run off)

Meowstic: And now we are officially in last. (Puts his head in his hands) With no strategy we are so hosed.

Shinx: No strategy? Ha! That doesn't sound like the Meowstic I know. I guess that means it's time for Shinx to step up to the plate and be the brains. Time for the strategy of... BELIEVING!!! I CAN DO IT THIS TIME!!! (Takes off running and makes it over every hurdle and then crosses the finish line in forty-eight seconds) YESSSS!!! (Meowstic just stands there, mouth wide open in shock)

(In confessional)
Meowstic: (laughing) Hahaha, well that just about settles it. My best friend is one hundred percent a Shonen protagonist.

(At the gymnastic challenge)

Vulpix: Ow my head. (Rubs it) That does it, this balance beam in impossible.

Weavile: Step aside fashion freak, let a real athlete show you how it's done. (Weavile jumps on the balance beam and performs the routine perfectly and even adds in an extra flip and dismount) Perfection!

Machoke: (clapping) Oh yeah! Perfect job as always Weavile!

Rhydon: As much as I hate to say this, well done, gold medal! Now you two, off to the final challenge.

Weavile: Yes! Victory is nearly ours. Later losers!

Machoke: Try not to fall too far behind!

Vulpix: Grrr... stupid, no good, sons of a-

Sandshrew: Hey don't let them get to you. Just stay calm, we cannot get sidetracked.

Buizel: (pacing back and forth) Ugh, I'm athletic but I hate this kind of girly gymnastic stuff.

Oshawott: Girly? Um, don't you realize guys do it too?

Buizel: Fair but that's not my point cous. You know what, why don't you do it? You got this! (Oshawott's face lights up)

(In Confessional)
Oshawott: Is this actually happening? Buizel finally trusting me and believing in me? All those legs of him doubting me, but now he trusts me! He's come so far (smiles for a little bit). Oh no... I hope I don't let him down... What if I mess up!? What if I-

Oshawott: Hmm, I think I can try to do the rings. They seem kinda fun at least.

Buizel: Yeah sure thing. Go for it.

Rhydon: Here's the routine you need to execute. (Shows a video of it to him) Best of luck. And try not to hurt yourself, gymnastic injuries can be brutal. (Oshawott tenses up and Buizel glares at Rhydon)

Chespin: Out of the way coming through! (He and Chikorita arrive shortly followed by the Gamers)

Rhydon: Take your pick and get going! The Athletes have already moved on.

Shinx: Oh you gotta be kidding me!

Chikorita: Well these are Olympic challenges and they are Athletes... we should've expected this.

Chespin: (to Chikorita) So, what should we try?

Chikorita: Hmm... how about the vault? That one doesn't seem to difficult. (They walk over to it)

Shinx: Yeah lets do the vault! I can do it! BECAUSE I BELIEVE I CAN-

Meowstic: Alright alright, we'll go do it. Settle down Hinata. (Shinx happily laughs)

(At the javelin challenge)

Machoke: Alright leave it all to me. I got the muscles for this.

Weavile: Yeah but do you have the aim?

Machoke: Oh come on, it's so simple. Just throw it hard and throw it straight. (Picks up a javelin) Watch and learn! (Throws it as hard as he can but not at a good height so it barely goes anywhere)

Weavile: (facepalms) You big dummy, you need to throw it at a forty-five degree angle to make it go far.

Machoke: Oh... yeah right right. I was just testing you.

(In Confessional)
Machoke: People always ask me, bro how come you work with Weavile and hang out with her when she's so mean? Well that right there is why. She is resourceful and provides some brains when I need them. Not that I'm stupid or anything... er... CUT! DELETE THIS!

Weavile: Alright so throw it at forty-five degrees and aim straight forward.

Machoke: (nods) Alright, time to do this! (Throws the javelin perfectly and it lands on the bullseye) Oh yeah! (Flexes)

Weavile: Yes! Now all we have to do is find the chill zone! First place is all ours!

(At the gymnastics challenge)

Vulpix: Alright, take number... what number try is this?

Sandshrew: (sheepishly laughs) Oh it doesn't matter. Just keep going, you can do this.

Vulpix: Alright. (To herself) You can do this, you can do this, you can do this... (she does the flip and lands on the balance beam, then slowly opens her eyes) Did I- Yes! I did it!

Sandshrew: (Cheering) Way to go Vulpix! Now let's get going, one challenge left!

(At the vault area)

Meowstic: There go the Fashion Designers...

Shinx: Don't sweat it, I got this. Just need to warm up (begins stretching).

Chespin: Stand back babe, I've got this.

(In Confessional)
Chespin: Ah let me tell you, there's no better feeling than impressing your girlfriend. Just the way she looks at you... and hugs you...

Chikorita: You got this Chespin! (He runs and uses the vault to flip but lands flat on his face) Ooh- (winces away)

(In confessional)
Chespin: (holding an ice pack to his face) As I was saying, there's no WORSE feeling than screwing up and looking like a complete buffoon in front of your girlfriend.

Chespin: Ow... Sorry. I'm alright though.

Chikorita: I'll take a crack at this then. (She runs down and reaches the vault, using her lead to flip but she propels herself too high and hits the ceiling, then lands on the ground with a thud) Owwww.

Chespin: Agh, are you okay? Man this is much harder than we thought.

Shinx: LOOK OUT HERE I COME! (Shinx runs down the path and flips using the vault and lands on his feet) WOOO HOOO!

Meowstic: ALRIGHT! AWESOME JOB SHINX!

Shinx: See Meowstic? Told ya I could do it.

Meowstic: Don't need to tell me twice. I always knew you could do it after all. Now let's go. (The Gamers head off)

(At the gymnastics routine challenge)

Oshawott: Okay... deep breaths... you can do this... (prepares himself on the rings for a bit)

Buizel: (yelling) Come on cous just get started already!

Oshawott: Hey!

Buizel: Look I know your afraid of messing up, but you'll never get a chance at winning if you don't even try!

Oshawott: (thinks for a moment) Yeah... Alright here goes! (Oshawott starts twirling on the rings and does the routine successfully)

Buizel: OH YEAH! That was totally rad cous! (Lifts Oshawott up in the air)

(In Confessional)
Oshawott: I can't believe it! I actually did it! (Smiles super hard and then blushes)

Chikorita: Oh no, we are the last team here!

Chespin: Hmm, you know what, maybe we should try the rings!

Chikorita: Really? But it'll be like starting from scratch...

Chespin: Trust me Chikorita. I've got a plan! (Chespin walks up to the rings and uses Vine Whip to grab hold of the rings and then starts twirling)

Chikorita: (smiles) Great thinking Chespin! Come on you got this! (Chespin finishes the routine correctly)

Chespin: Yes! Now let's hurry and get going to the final challenge!

(At the chill zone)

Rhydon: (on a call with producers) Uh huh? All season long right? Yeah uh huh. (The Athletes run up and are ignored)

Machoke: AHEM!?

Weavile: Ahem indeed, Rhydon where is our victory fanfare?

Rhydon: Oh great you two again. Yeah no victory fanfare this time, your first yada yada, now off the carpet please.

Weavile: Hmph! How rude!

Machoke: Yeah what did we ever do to deserve this?

Rhydon: You're kidding right...

(At the javelin challenge; Sandshrew and Meowstic attempt throws but miss)

Sandshrew: Dangit! So close!

Meowstic: I know my aim is good... I just can't get enough power behind my throw.

Sandshrew: Ugh tell me about it. (The two laugh)

Vulpix: Come on Sandshrew! One more time! You can do it!

Sandshrew: (to himself) Come on, don't let Vulpix down. You can do it. (Throws the javelin and hits the target) Yes! Bullseye!

Vulpix: Oh yay! (Hugs Sandshrew)

Meowstic: Oh wow, nice throw Sandshrew!

Sandshrew: Thanks. Best of luck, hope to see you at the chill zone. (The Fashion Designers run off as the Cousins and Boyfriend and Girlfriend arrive)

Buizel: Alright stand back, I've got this!

Meowstic: (muttering) Ha, it's a lot harder than it looks. Buizel's gonna be shocked as usual when it doesn't come naturally to him- (Buizel hits the target) Oh for crying out loud are you kidding me?

Buizel: (celebrating) Oh yeah! That's right! I'm the best!

Oshawott: Amazing job! Lets go find that chill zone! (The Cousins leave)

Shinx: And then there were two teams... dun dun dun. (They all look at him) Sorry...

Chespin: Hey, I just want to say whatever happens, good luck you guys are an awesome team.

Shinx: Oh thanks! Same to you guys, you and Chikorita are so nice! (Both teams smile at each other)

Chukorita: Come on Chespin you can do this! (Chespin misses a few times)

Chespin: Crap!

Shinx: Go Meowstic! (His throws fall short again)

(At the chill zone)

Rhydon: Cousins! Second place!

Oshawott: Yay we did it!

Buizel: Woo hoo! Still in it to win it! (High fives Oshawott)

Rhydon: Yes, you two are! Now here comes the Fashion Designers in third!

Sandshrew: Alright! (Cheers with Vulpix)

Vulpix: I can't believe it! We've made it to the semi finals!

Rhydon: Well get believing it! Congrats you two! (To the camera) That leaves only two teams left out there! Who will make it to the semifinal leg?

(At the javelin challenge)

Chespin: Alright Chikorita... this time for sure! HA! (Throws it and almost hits the target) GAH!

Chikorita: It's okay. (Comforts Chespin) Want me to take a try?

Chespin: No no, I can do this! I know I can!

Meowstic: Ah! I've got to think of something and fast! I can't let us lose after all this!

(In confessional)
Meowstic: I need to think of something out of the box. I need to play to my own strengths... Wait a second that's it!

Chespin: Okay, running start. (Starts running) FOR CHIKORITA!!! (Hits the target) YES!

Chikorita: You did it! Now we gotta go and fast!

Meowstic: It's not over yet! (Throws the javelin and uses his psychic powers to help it fly farther and hit the target) YES!

Shinx: Meowstic that was amazing! You are incredible!

Meowstic: Thanks bud, but no time for praise now we need to MOVE!

(At the chill zone)

Oshawott: Aww no, I can't bare to say goodbye to either one of these teams left...

Machoke: Oh what do you care? We're all just competition. This isn't a giant friend group!

Oshawott: You know what, maybe you'd be happier if you treated everyone nicer. It would make your eventual loss sting less.

Buizel: Ha! Nice one! (High fives Oshawott)

Vulpix: Look! Here come Chikorita and Chespin!

Sandshrew: With the Gamers right behind them!

Rhydon: (to the camera) I know I say this a lot but this might be the closest one yet folks! The Gamers are hot on the trail and catching up! Can they do it? Who will cross onto the carpet first!?

(A team crosses the carpet)

Rhydon: NO WAY! ITS THE GAMERS!!!

Shinx: (hugs Meowtsic) We did it! We did it! (Chespin and Chikorita arrive) Sorry guys...

Chespin: Hey come on, what are you sorry for? You beat us fair and square.

Chikorita: Yeah! Which is more than we can say about another team... (looks over at the Athletes)

Weavile: Ha cry me a river! Bye bye losers! We've finally beaten you once and for all.

Chikorita: Hmph, take a look around you Weavile. Take a look at all the enemies you've made on this show. I think that alone shows who the true winners are deep down.

Weavile: Pffft. That's completely idiotic. Go on Rhydon, shove these losers out of here.

Rhydon: Team Boyfriend and Girlfriend... I completely agree the Athletes should be the real losers. (They glare at him) But unfortunately you two have come in last and are eliminated from the competition. You raced a good race. Keep your heads held high.

Vulpix: Goodbye Chikorita (gives her a hug)

Chespin: Yeah you and Sandshrew go on and win for us! (Fist bumps Sandshrew)

Chikorita: Truthfully, to anyone that isn't the Atheltes... go on and win this thing you deserve it! Hehe. (Smiles)

(Boyfriend and Girlfriend elimination montage)

Chespin: This race was such a great experience for Chikorita and I!

Chikroita: Definitely! We got to meet so many new nice people from it and had a blast doing it. That totally makes up for not winning.

Chespin: We overcame many hardships... and even some personal problems which I'm sorry I took us through...

Chikorita: Chespin don't be sorry about a thing because all that only brought us closer together! (Gives him a hug)

Chespin: Aw man, Im so lucky to have you!

Chikorita: And I'm lucky to have you too! (They kiss)

Rhydon: We are down to four teams! Four teams everyone you heard me! The semifinal leg kicks off next on... the Rhydonculous Race!
