I am in my office right now working on a file. I was almost finished when received an email. I opened it being curious.

Mr Kim you have to leave for LA in a few weeks for a business deal. It's the same business deal that you have been looking forward to. I could've just texted you but my phone isn't working well. I will call you later.

Taehyung: How much time do I need to stay there?

??: About 2 months sir. We have to help them build their new branch so it will take time. But the thing is the deal is very good and also the same as you wanted.

Taehyung: It's true. But I asked for a Korea one, It's fine I guess. I will prepare my bag tonight. You're coming right?

??: Sir I can't come with you. I was about to say that I am actually resigning because I am going back to my hometown.

Taehyung: What? How am I supposed to get a new assistant Suho?

Suho: Sir I am sorry. Also I think that Miss Jennie is really suitable for this job. Other than that miss Rosé will handle the company when you're not there. Sir please let me resign.

Taehyung: *sigh* Okay but let's keep in contact.

Suho: Of course. I have to go now Have a good day sir.

He hung up. I was kinda sad that i have to find a new assistant because I'm used to having Suho beside me. But I know Suho needs to leave So i won't pressurize him. And also he said that Jennie can be a good assistant. Well I know that too. But will she agree? I need to ask her before I go.

I stood up from my chair and went towards her cabin.
I knocked on her cabin door.

Jennie: O-oh. Yes sir do you need anything?

Taehyung: No, it's that.. I have something to ask. So I had a personal assistant Suho, but he resigned today. I have a business trip in a week for 2 months and I need a new assistant. And I think you seem to be fit for this place. It's your choice and also you will get the same pay as an assistant.

She didn't answer my question at first but spoke after a while.

Jennie: Well, that's okay with me but.. I don't know anything about being an assistant.

Taehyung: You don't need to know anything. You just have to stay with me throughout the day.Tell me my schedule for the meeting and all the things that will be emailed on the tablet you will use. Also, I have a rule that the assistant have to stay in my house. I hope it doesn't bother you. I have a separate room for the assistant so don't worry.

Jennie: Ah.. I will need to think about that. Maybe I can get a day to answer?

Taehyung: Take your time. You can answer tomorrow. Continue your work.

Jennie bowed to me as I left. I hope for a good answer from her. I know she won't disappoint me.

It's 8:48 pm and here I am thinking about the assistant offer that Mr Kim said. I mean it will be fine right? Ugh should I ask Rosé and Jisoo? or Lisa? Let's group call.

Jennie: EVERYONE HELP MEEE!!

Rosé+Jisoo: Yah what happened?!

Lisa: Tsk. She needs help in making decisions again.

Jennie: Yeah whatever. So what I was saying is I need help in making a decision. It's like.. Mr Kim asked me to be his personal assistant!! What should I do?

Rosé: That's not a big deal. He trusts you so that's why he asked you. But what about Suho?

Jennie: He resigned. Unnie, Rosé, Lisa tell me what should I say?

Lisa: Unnie it's simple. Listen to your heart. He is a nice person.

Jisoo: Also I have noticed. He trusts you more than the other workers. Even Rosé his own cousin. He could've asked her but he asked you.

Rosé: So, I think you should say yes. You also get paid a lot to be an assistant. Just agree.

Jennie: Ah.. Alright then. I agree.But.. Rosé if something happens I am gonna kill you.

Rosé: What can happen- bruh. You are thinking too far now. Don't worry just agree I guarantee you. Anyways bye bye.

Jisoo: Yeah just agree. Bye too.

I guess I am agreeing. Is this gonna be okay? I mean I am a WOMAN. And he is a MAN. But what could possibly go wrong? He is not like that I bet. I have made my decision. I agree.

Jennie smirked and walked to them.

Jennie: Good morning Miss Rosie~

She said in a teasing voice. Rosé and Mr Park flinched.

Rosé: O-oh you're early t-today.

Jennie smiled at her.

Jennie: Yeah. Did I perhaps disturb you?

Mr Park: Ah no. I just came to meet Taehyung and he hasn't arrived so just stopped by.

Jennie: First of all, I'm Jennie Kim and Rosé friend. Secondly, it's alright I was just teasing her. Nice to meet you.

Mr Park smiled.

Mr Park: I'm Park Jimin. I bet you already know who I am and what I am to Rosé.

Jennie: Yeah. I know. Anyways I will go to my cabin. Mr Kim will arrive in a while. Bye-bye.

She waved at him and went to her cabin.

Jimin: So that's Jennie Kim Huh. Now I know what is so special about her. She is kind.

Rosé: Hmm yeah. I bet Taehyung also liked her kindness. But I have seen in his eyes.The way he looks at Jennie.. It's something I have never seen before.
Jimin: Obviously in Love bruh. How clever of him to make her his assistant. He sure doesn't like to share what he owns.
Rosé: He doesn't own her for now. But soon he will.. Tsk anyways baby you should go to his office now. He will arrive soon.
Jimin: Hmm as you say Love. See you.
He kissed Rosé cheeks and went to Taehyung's Office. Soon the workers arrived and Taehyung came as well. He went in his office and saw Jimin making him smile brightly.
Taehyung: Yoooo Hyung you camee! Did you forget the address or what?
Jimin: Aish can't I come to meet you? I mean I am your best friend after all.
Taehyung: Well as If I don't know why you came. Obviously for your Girlfriend huh.
Jimin: Well true but also for you. Hehe.
They both laughed and chatted together for some time in the office. Jennie on the other hand wants to tell Him her Answer. She went to his office and knocked lightly three times.
Taehyung: Hmm come in.
She went in and saw Jimin there. She smiled to him as he returns it.
Jennie: Ah S-sir.. I want to say that.. I agree about what you said
y-yesterday.
Taehyung: Great than. I knew you wouldn't dissapoint me. So here is the file sign this and we will talk about the details later.
He smiled at Jennie as she smiled a little too. She took the papers and signed them. Jimin knew what they were saying and he slightly smirked.
Jennie: I will take my leave now. Have a good day sir.And you too Mr.Park.
She left.
Taehyung: She knows you?
Jimin: Yeah Rosé told her about me. Anyways the topic is that she agreed bro!
Taehyung: Yeah so what?
Jimin: Oh come on! I know you slightly like her.
Taehyung: Well I don't know. We will see about that later. I am going home now I just came to check if anything came up. What about you? Aren't you gonna go to work?
Jimin: Nope. The work is done and I asked my assistant if anything comes up. He will tell me. Well then see ya buddy. Take care.
They both bro hugged and Jimin left. Taehyung still thinks about what he said. Does he like her? That question repeated in his mind. He shrugged it off and went home.

Taehyung sighed. He never had a girl assistant before. But he trust Jennie so it's fine with him. Also he has a business trip and Jennie will be with him. He somehow felt weird about Jennie.. As if his heart was racing.Is it love at first sight?

He just called me and told me to Move in today!! Ohmygod please help me! Ah just forget it.. Relax. I don't even know why it feels this much weird. He is just my boss and I am his assistant.. Do I like him? I don't know. He is attractive tho. Can't lie he makes me nervous.i told Jisoo unnie that I am leaving and texted Him.

Oh I see. My driver is on his way. You can come with him. Your room is ready as well.

I closed my phone as a Limo pulled over at my gate. LIKE A LITERAL LIMOUSINE!! I went to it and the driver told me he is sent by Taehyung. I sat in it and the driver put my bag in the car too. He drove off soon.
We finally arrived at his house no no MANSION!! Yo he is so freaking rich!! I mean yeah the 2nd most successful company is Kim enterprises so. Anyways. I walked inside with my bag. The door was open and as soon as i entered I saw Taehyung..
Taehyung: Oh your here. Welcome. This is my house. Feel yourself at home. And also the maid will take your luggage to your room you can get fresh and let's do dinner.
Jennie: Oh o-ok.
Bruh let me speak too. He was rapping lol. Anyways I will go take a shower first.
I went to the room and wow. So luxurious.. I will take a shower now.
I took a shower and wore some comfortably clothes.

I came outside the bathroom after drying my hair. Suddenly someone knocked on the door.
Jennie: come in.
A maid came in.
Maid: Miss Jennie Mr.Kim is calling you for dinner.
Jennie: Ah alright. Also don't call me miss. Jennie is fine.
Maid: As you say.
I smiled at her and she left.
Dinner.. Alright I guess. I went outside the room and saw him at the dinning table. He looked at me and signalled me to come and sit.
I did as he said and sat down in front of him. It was very awkward as both of us stayed quiet. But he decided to break the silence.
Taehyung: Let's eat. You can also start your work as an assistant tomorrow. Other than that pack your things you will come to L.A with me.
Jennie: F-for how much time we will be there..?
Taehyung: 2 months maximum but we can come early too I can't say anything yet.
Jennie: ok..
We started eating and again the awkward silence takes over.
After some time we were done eating.
Taehyung: and also here is the IPad you will need.
He said handing me a IPad.I accepted it.
Taehyung: Hmm There is still time for sleeping. Shall we talk? I mean maybe get to know each other? Don't mind I am just trying to be friendly.
Jennie: Ah no it's ok we can talk.
He nodded as he smiled a little. His made my heart beat faster for some reason.. I suddenly felt like my cheeks started to heat up and I know I was blushing. I quickly looked away and we sat down on the couch.
Taehyung: hmm so tell me about yourself..
Jennie: ah ne.. I actually am from Busan but I came to Seoul for studying. 2 years after I graduated I wanted to go back but my.. Parents had a car crash and they died.. When I heard the news.. I just couldn't go back there. I decided to stay in Seoul from then. I had an apartment where I lived and all of the last things that my parents gave me were there.But..the day we heard that we were transferred to your company..it got robbed and also was on fire. Unfortunately nothing was in a good condition and those memories also disappeared just like that. I was living with Jisoo Unnie after that.

Taehyung: uh-oh I really didn't knew all of this happend to you.. I am sorry for your loss..

Jennie: No no its fine. What about you? We're you born in Seoul?

Taehyung: Actually no. I was born in Busan as well. But my parents and I shifted here for my dad's business. But when I was 14.. My mom and dad were attending a meeting in dad's company when.. A fire broke out. The fire was really strong that no one was able to make it out alive. Even my mom and dad.. Since then I live alone with my brother but later on a couple adopted us. They treated us like there sons and always loved us. I never felt like they were not my real parents. This company is also there gift for me and hyung. You must think where they are.. Well they are in L.A. Dad started a business there so they had to shift. We can actually meet them there when we go on the business trip. I miss them a lot. I last met them 2 years ago. I never got the chance to go there so yeah.
Jennie: You must be excited to meet them after so long.
Taehyung: Yeah I am very happy. Well we got to know about our families now let's see.. How many friends do you have? I only have Jimin Hoseok and Jin hyung.
Jennie: umm I have 4 friends. Rosé Jisoo unnie Lisa and Ryujin. Jisoo and Lisa unnie are my very old friends. We are like sisters.
Taehyung: I see.. You.. Don't have a boyfriend..?
I looked at him and went quiet.
Jennie: I had.. But he dumped me 2 months after my parents died.
Taehyung: ..He must be blind to leave a.. Precious soul like you...
I looked at him as he said those words. He was smiling at me. Again my heart raced. It was an unusual feeling that I never had before. My blood had already rushed up to my cheeks.
Jennie: I uh..
He noticed my red cheeks and chuckled.
Taehyung: I will go to my room now. Good night.
He stood up and left while smiling. Jinja this man will kill me someday..
