Their use
?????: So...now that we have two of our powerful foes to our usage, what shall the consequence be?
Me: It would be better to manipulate their powers to take full advantage and extent of their usage to make our...fulfillment. It's the most necessary thing I could think of. He mentioned a lot of historical things.
And I intend of studying it all.
?????:Starting with what?
Thinking about that for a moment, I had to analyze my topic to study. But it wasn't long until a subject hit me hard.
Me: Starting with that...thing they called the "Perplexing Globe." I think that is what caused that war so long ago. Maybe that's what they were fighting for- and why It's so...feared and guarded. And probably why my journey was cut short by that Garchomp.
It was all starting to make sense now. Why everyone was so hostile when it came to this odd spherical power. Everyone saw it as a treasure; a power to take and manipulate for their own. This brought up another question to me though.
Me: Where is it...
Zexko: Any regarded location has either been destroyed or changed.
Me: Then we're going to find it.
I snapped back. They must think that I'm not patient enough to wait for results. For how long I've lived? I think that's enough proof. But the smaller Mythical just chuckled at my persistence.
Zexko: You're crazy...
Me: So you think...I will persistently, tirelessly walk this trek until it kills me. And you're going to help me whether you like. Or not. And IF you have any regard to doublecross me.
?????: That won't happen, Ezahn. I can slay them if they even think about it. Quite...a magnificent power to slay such beings. Or should you two be regarded, "half-mortals"?
Darkout seemes to taunt them. With his battle-hardened psyche and form, it seems that he could take them both on. I would need that in order to keep them in check of any funny business.
Dello: Sounds appropriate.
The Darkrai coldly agreed. Much to the Marshadow's displeasure, grunted at It's comrade's response. And we could only chuckle in amusement from their childish form. He went over to them and picked up the Marshadow on it's feet, and nudged it to get walking.
?????: Long journey ahead, so get moving. Ezahn, lead the way.
My new partner said to me. That's...going to take some getting used to. If only I knew where it was or how to get there. Until an idea sparked. There could only be a few who know...
Me: You two, tell us where it is.
I ordered. But they seemed reluctant.
Zexco: Even if you could get there, your chances of claiming it are still as low as it was centuries ago.
Me: Enough with your blashempy, speak now!
Almost roaring at the secretive Pokemon. With an expasperated grunt, they finally said something. Not in the way I expected however...
Zexko: Your journey is to find it and claim it, yes?
That was a rather accuracte assumption, but it may have seemed like I was after it for greed as well. I never stated my reasons. For so long, i've heard stories of many trying and failing; no one had ever succeeded. I-first of all-wish to study why their fate was all the same. and maybe...if I discover the reason...then maybe then I can go right where they went wrong...
Although my reasons where no one's bussiness. Perhaps it will eliminate risen chances of their rebellion.
Me: No...I never wanted it for my own use, much like all those who sought after it. I wanted to DESTROY it. Only then may this world stop being attracted to their demise, and focus on more fruitful adventures.
To my surprise...they both laughed. Offensive, yes, but I must have missed something here.
Dello: Not even WE can eradicate such a power, hoho! You'd have to be a GOD to do that! And no one beilives in such a miraculous philosophy anymore!
The dark mythical further taunted.
Zexko: Haw! I wish you luck-behind-death on that one! Hu-hagh, now I remember why we are ordered to protect society- You're all so impuslive and thoughtless! And it's beings like us who save you from destroying the world; destroying yourselves!
...
These words....they really are cutting at me, as I know I am no idiot, but I may be running in without knowledge. However, I will halt their demeaning langauge and laughter against me. But it seemed my rival understood my feelings before I could speak them.
?????: Enough with your games! Maybe if you're useful...the both of you may seek a way of freedom with your lives from all this.
Zexko: You'd be surprised how boring it is to live for 800 years long...
Me: Then if sacrifices are mandatory, you will be a suffiecient cause.
If they wanted to get smart like that...so be it then. I wasn't about to be made a laughing stock just because I'm chasing after some...long lost relic. This behavoir was unbearable, but I musn't quit now. Come too far for that.
It seemed my idea shut their mouths though...at least that hushed their taunts. But Darkout let out a snicker, seeing it worked.
Me: The outcome of my journey is none of your bussiness. However, how I get there...well. Perhaps giving you propper insight will make you more useful. Just remember. Our Battle-seasoned ally here will make sure no undersirable behavoir shall occur. Oh, and you best beilive...you can be slain.
Even though they knew this. It didn't seem as if it struck fear into them- rather a silent agreement. Maybe that was their way of ackowleding what would happen if they did something we didn't like. I could never tell if it was fear.
Or genuinely boring to hear us threaten them.
Me: Now then...can we move on with tracking it's location? I'm pretty sure these two know.
?????: We have....one...small issue.
Me: What could possibly halt our journey...
He remained silent for a minute. Perhaps unsure of our obstacles, or even adversaries. But...if only I had taken him more serouisly...I probably wouldn't have thought this would be an easy one.
?????: Remember Jake...?
