Another in need

Continuing this severe cold, I pressed on through it. I felt this blizzard, or frosty Forrest would never end. I felt as if some of my fur has been frozen solid, and nearly no warmth to protect me. I'm rather fortunate to have developed moderate survival skills, rather than being a warrior, like my sister. She wouldn't even survive one full day in this whether...which Is why I went alone. Hours went alone, and this storm still raged on...that was until I find another survivor, but it wasn't a Pokemon. It stood on two legs, and reflected pale skin...must have been a human, I thought. Although I've grown a slight disinterest to the Human kind, it did not destroy my remorse and pity towards them. By now I stalked this heavily covered being, just to make sure he or she could at least walk for the time being. The being's route was a little different than the one I wanted to walk, but I couldn't risk their life dying. Another 20 minutes went by, until the human fell to their knees, gripping around it's shoulder, trying to warm them-self more desperately.

????: WIll this Blizzard ever end!? What type of Pokemon is keeping it so cold here, a Frosslass!? Is there anyone even to help...or...e...even take pity into my freezing d-death.

Hearing this made me come from out of my stalking phase and help the poor human. I still couldn't interpret the gender behind the being, even though it sounded childish in a way, so I still couldn't announce it as a he or she. The human was startled, and went into a defensive phase. Still didn't get up, but rather tried to move away from me. My predator sized must have scared the poor being, but I wanted to get the message across that I wanted to help. So I stopped and gave a small, friendly roar. Fortunately it seemed to calm them down, and stopped fearing me. I let out a second one as a, "can I approach you"? Sort of tone. At this point, the human allowed me to get closer, seeing that I wasn't a threat and just was concerned for their safety. As soon as I got close enough, the suffering human pulled me closer and spoke.

????: Thanks for not eating me. I don't know what you are...but your really sweet.

Me: Hey I wouldn't let anyone die...even if your a human being.

Even though she couldn't understand me, she just chuckled at my response. Now I knew it was a female. Her voice was so calming and soft to be mistaken for male child. Sure she was young, but at least she wasn't afraid anymore. I could just purr and snuggle her head in response to prove my docile nature.
She seemed to be happier actually, since she had someone to save her back from the deathly cold, as well as a big, intimidating predator that's not eating her. But by now, she shivered harder and the cold seemed to be putting her into a drowsy cold sleep.

I knew that wasn't a good thing, so I tried my best to warm her up...I didn't get much body heat back, but we helped each other. She could only grip on tighter, desperately trying to harness warmth. I pulled her under my neck and rested her head in my mane, and she seemed to be more comfortable by then. She let out a soft moan of comfort, and then I knew she was OK. At least I saved her life. Unfortunately, she never told me her name. At least I would have had someone to remember...but at the same time, what are the odds of meeting faces again? Maybe we could help each other throughout the future. But I shouldn't get my hopes up, these new faces come and go...like that Aggressive Gliscor back in that snowy town.

Some hours later, to my surprise I woke back up. And she was gone...but if she was, she had to be long gone out of this blizzard, and gladly the snow calmed down. It was still cold, but it wasn't spine chilling. I saw a trace of footsteps that seemed to lead off into her destination. I just smiled seeing that she made it out and could continue her venture. Now I knew it was time to get back up on my feet and finish mine. There was one problem though...I was hungry, and there was no food or prey around. That was until I looked down directly under me. It looked like fresh Bunnelby meat, and this must have been her thanks for me helping her. It was decently large, and once I finished it all, I was ready to continue again. Hopefully I come across this girl again...sure was a pleasant experience, despite us both nearing the cliff of cold death.

Two more days of venturing through that dreadfully cold Forrest, I made it out and I met something I was NOT expecting. I traversed through another Forrest for a few miles...but then I was met with a desert, that reflected a canyon almost. How in the world can something like this exist, just about 10 or maybe 20 miles out from a blizzard Forrest? That type of whether transition made no sense whatsoever.
Nonetheless the heat wasn't as much of an issue as it was cold, since my kingdom was usually 80 degrees and over. I didn't quite prepare myself as effectively as I thought...no water or food to supply off of. I just had to wait for these coincidences to occur. Perhaps I will find another Pokemon or human that will take pity into my condition...because I'm hungry again, and if I don't feed myself, or find any water soon. my travels may be in vain. Although I'm not expecting it too...I will just have to go back to old ways so I can keep myself alive. I hate using my predator title, and would rather come off as helpful and merciful...even though I was born a predator, that doesn't mean I have to be one. But...if it means I have to live well. I just might have to kill again. I don't like it anymore than my victim does, but that's just how the food chain goes. Someone will always be more vicious and stronger than you.
