"What do you mean Roy did it?" Jade asked. "Roy wouldn't hurt a fly! Much less betray the Justice League!" Roy had left in a hurry a couple hours before and hadn't returned- but RT had.

"He didn't mean to, Jade. He was a clone, just like Superboy, and he had control words and no knowledge of it, too," Robin said. "I know that you're upset, Jade, but you need to take a deep breath and calm down. We're going to split up. You and Kaldur will go track down Roy, and the rest of us will go to the watchtower, get rid of the remaining mind control, ok? Kaldur?"

"I agree with your idea," Kaldur said.

"Alright." Jade bit her lip.

Soon, Jade and Kaldur were running around Star City, trying to figure out where Roy could possibly be. After about an hour of searching, an idea occurred to Jade. "Ok, this seemed to obvious to be where he'd go. But he might be there."

"Be where?"

"His apartment. It's on the outskirts of downtown. He might be there."

"Do you know exactly where it is?"

"Of course I do. I'm his girlfriend. Do you know how many times I've been over there?"

"No."

"A LOT. Trust me. C'mon, let's get going."

Jade took off, Kaldur at her heels. Navigating through the streets and rooftops, they found themselves on the roof of the apartment building. Jade pulled out a key, and opened the door to get into the building. The duo hurried downstairs to the third floor, where Roy's apartment was.

Jade knocked on the door, to no avail. She tried to open it, it was lock. She groaned and pulled out her key, opening the door.

Roy was sitting on the bed, looking defeated. He held a bow in his hands. He looked up at his best friend and girlfriend.

"Hey, Roy," Jade said, walking over to her boyfriend. She sat down on the bed, lowering the bow.

"What are you two doing here?"

"Looking for you."

"Well, you found me. Now go away."

"I don't think that we will, my friend," Kaldur said.

"Why won't you? It's not like I'm the REAL Roy Harper."

"So?" Jade questioned. "You think we care? Boy, I'm the daughter of two assassins, and the older sister of another. I'm pretty sure that we're pretty much even."

"I agree with Jade, Roy. If we could except her when we had barely known her, why wouldn't we except you. You are my best friend on the surface world. We aren't going to leave you because of something that isn't your fault."

"Yeah, we'd be hypocrites if we did," Jade added. She wrapped him in a huge hug. "I love you, Roy. And nothing that you could ever do will change that."

"What if I killed someone?"

"I still love my mom and sister."

"Yeah, but they're family."

"So what? I hate my dad. Blood isn't thicker than water, Roy."

"I love you, Jade." He brought his lips close to hers, taking hold of her chin.

Kaldur cleared his throat. The couple jumped apart. "So, lovebirds, I'm needed at the Watchtower, but they said that they'll be fine without you. Enjoy yourselves." He left the room.

Roy and Jade met eyes. A smirk tugged at the sides of Jade's lips. She draped her arms around her boyfriend's neck. She ran her hand through his thick, gorgeous red hair. "Now, where were we?"
