DISCLAIMER: Ash is going with the identity of Lucas Orange, I guess I was an idiot and didn't make that obvious.

Ash's POV

"It's been years huh." I said to Gary as he was eating a sandwich. "Years since what?" Gary asked confused,"Since you have seen blue." I said bluntly. "It's been years since all of us had been together." Gary said,"And it'll be like that for a while." I replied knowing of who he was speaking of,"He's your brother Ash you can't jus-" "Was my brother, but after that night all those years ago I never want to see him again!" I growled at him, "HE SLIPPED UP ONCE AND YOU TURN ON HIM!" "THAT 'SLIP UP' COSTED 23 PEOPLE THEIR LIVES. I TOLD HIM TO STOP BUT HIS IGNORANCE GOT 23 PEOPLE KILLED. WE WOULD'VE BEEN ON THAT LIST IF IT WASN'T FOR ME." I yelled in reply. "You know what, forget it. So why haven't you been in the tournament since your debut?" Gary asked. "After destroying Iris they sorta considered me as a champion battler, so I will only battle in the semi-finals and up unless I am challenged." I replied nonchalantly while looking at my knuckles,"That's dumb." Gary stated,"Yea, but I can see why they are doing it. They want to give all competitors a fair chance." I stated. Lucario, who was eating berries then snapped his head and looked around. Seeing him like this confused me, I then use my aura and look around I then see someone outside the center looking in our window. As I see them they begin to sprint, I send an aura message to Greninja and Lucario and they do as they're told. Greninja fades into the floor while lucario glows blue and teleports. I signal gary to follow and we both jet out of the building. I look around with my aura and see that the person had ran into the forest. "You still have those parkour skills?" I ask the boy behind me. "How could I forget, I taught you didn't I." He smirked. I shook my head before leaping towards a branch and latching onto it. I then began to swing from branch to branch. I was catching up to the boy as greninja came out of shadow sneak and punched him right in the gut, throwing him from the floor into the air. Lucario suddenly appeared in the air and slammed his fist which was glowing a baby blue into the man's back, sending him spiraling to the ground. Lucario and Greninja came to my side as Gary got down from the trees. "Ha Ha! ...you see that!... I... still... got it!" He panted out of breath. Gary then looks up and sees him. "You..." I mumble looking at the boy with hatred burning in my chest.

No one's POV

They both threw glares at each other until the trainer threw a pokeball. A Charizard appeared and gave off a loud roar,"Hmm he looks a bit stronger, Red." Ash commented,"But I will always be stronger." Ash said as he threw a pokeball that popped open and out came his own charizard. "Slash" said Red, "Dragon claw" Ash countered. The Red's Charizard's claws grew long and white before he flew forward, Ash's Charizard's claw grew a light green before he flew as well. They both ran into each other. For a second it seemed they were matched in strength, but Ash's Charizard began to win the stalemate,"OTHER CLAW!" Ash hollered. Red looked on as his fire type was struck with a claw and was thrown into tree. "You ok buddy?" Red asked. His charizard gave a growl before rising to his feet. "Ok it's time." Red said,"Special stone, assist me!" Red chanted as he held up a keystone. Charizard's horns began to grow and 4 spikes sprouted on his shoulders and two streams of flame bursted from his mouth as the evolution concluded. Expecting a look of fear, Red looked at Ash. But only saw a bored stared, "You're not the only one that has one dumbass." Ash said as he touched the keystone in his cap. Ash's Charizard gained the same appearance as Red's. Red grumbled before commanding, "Swift!" With the flap of it's wing, stars flew at Ash's Charizard." Flamethrower." Ash's charizard flew up and spat flames from it's mouth straight into the opposing dragon type, dealing quite a bit of damage to the fire type. The swift passed through the flamethrower and hit Ash's Charizard. Both Charizards groan in pain as both attacks hit their mark. Both shook off the pain as they received their next orders,"Steel wing!" Ash commanded throwing his arm forward,"Protect!" Red hollered in reply. Ash's Charizard's wings grew an eerie white and it began to fly at the opposing fire type, Red's Charizard lured him in before making a protect barrier, Ash's charizard almost hit the barrier but angled it's wings last second and flew up. He did this so he would avoid giving his opponent the upperhand. As the mega fire types sat awating their masters orders, a mist ball slammed into red's charizard. Ash smirked as he watched his opponents pokemon struggle to get up." Dragon pulse sceptile." A pulse of dragon energy slammed into the already struggling charizard, rendering it unconscious. It then reverted back to it's original form as it lay on the ground. Red returned his charizard and began to run until a shield slammed into the floor infront of him," Nice job Aegislash." Ash says walking up to red with charizard in tow. "Now, why are you here?" Ash asks while pointing to red." I wanted to make sure you were alive little bro." Red says in a realitivly calm voice but ash was picking up a bit of uneasiness from him. "I'll deal with you later." Ash says, he then turns around in time to see legendaries and his pokemon land behind him. Aegislash went and retrieved his shield before floating over to Ash. Sceptile had immediately went to Ash after landing. "Hey bud." Ash said as he began to pet the hoenn grass type starter,"Scept!" It sharply croaked,"Why are you here?" Ash asked Aegislash curiously."SLAASH." It said in a robotic voice. "So you wanted some action too huh?" Ash said,"Then i'll use you in the next battle, there is no better pokemon than a battle hungry pokemon to me." Ash said." Hey Decidueye, all that sleeping payed off huh?" "Eye..." it mumbled, "Do you ever sleep anymore?" "Decidueye..." it mumbled. After their short reunion, Ash returned them and turned to the legendaries, "Mew Mew!" The pink psychic cat chirped before floating into ash's arms."Hey there." He said gently before turning to the others." To what do I owe this honor?" Ash asked them,"We would like to join you Ash." Lugia said through aura,"Why is that." My soul is linked to yours, I am destined to be your pokemon." Lugia finished. "Hmm, I wonder..." Ash wondered," What is it?" "Nothing." Ash replied. "That doesn't explain the rest of you though." Ash said. "I have given the soul dew to my children and my mate has been slain." Latias mumbled quietly,"Arceus told me to go to you and join you in your journey to become champion of champions." Latias finished. Ash nodded and looked at the clone of a shiny rayquaza." You're considered a freak of nature huh?" Ash asked. It gave a low shriek and lowered it's head. Ash put his hand on it's head and closed his eyes. His hand began to glow a light blue. Ash removed his hand a moment later," Why don't you come with me?" Ash proposed. Rayquaza chirped happily, Ash then took a pokeball and tapped his head. The ball shook 3 times before clicking,"Welcome to the family." The ball then disappeared,"Oh sh*t." Ash mumbled as he realised his team was full.

Meanwhile at the aether association

Lillie was now the leader of the aether association after overcoming her fear of pokemon, she was playing with snowy the ninetails. She was petting her as there was a beep and noises coming from the transfer machine signifying a new pokemon had come. "From Ash huh? I wonder what it is?" She then released the pokemon only to find a shiny legendary inside the ball,"What the fu-" two more pokeballs appeared. Still in shock she grabbed the balls and released them, Lugia and Latias came out,"What the hell did you do Ash..." she mumbled looking at the legendaries before her. Latias then decsended towards the ground and then transformed into her human form as she landed." Hi my name is Bianca." She said walking up to lillie. "I've seen some sh*t but this takes the cake." Lillie said as she sat on the grass."What do you mean?" Bianca asked, "Ash captured you huh?" Asked Lillie ignoring her question, Bianca nodded. As Lillie was about to respond she heard a ping come from her phone, she pulled it out and looked at the notification. It read "Computer now." She stood up and walked towards the elevator. As she reached it she pressed the button and ascended to her office. She unlocked the door and walked in, she then relocked the door and sat at her desk. She then video called Ash.

When the call was answered Lillie was shown the face of the man she had journeyed with through Alola years before. She noticed he matured quite a bit, she lightly blushed as he gave her a toothy grin. "Ms. Kahale, how are you?" "I've been doing well Mr. Orange." They both stood still for a second before bursting out into laughter. They laughed for a while. After they calmed down Ash asked," How's the Aether association been?" "Their job now that I'm in charge." Lillie answered. "What's the deal with the pokemon you sent me?." " They are some pokemon that I caught." Ash answered. "Well no durr, but whats the deal? A latias that can morph into a human, a damn Lugia and on top of all that, a shiny Rayquaza!" Lillie exclaimed. "That's a story for another time Lil." Ash says. "*sigh, Fine. But it better be a damn good story. Lille said. "Anyway can I swap a pokemon?" Ash asked, "Of course! Which one?" Lillie asked. "Rayquaza for now." Ok, which pokemon are you swapping it in for?" Lillie asked. "It's a suprise." "Ok let me go get it and I'll be back." She said before walking off. When she returned she put the  pokeball on the tray and pressed the button. The ball on both sides dissapeared before another appeared again. "I got mine here." Ash said. "And I have whoever this is." Lillie replied. "Is that all." Lillie asked,"For now, yes." "Ok, hope to see ya soon!" "Same here, see ya!" Ash replied before hanging up.

Sorry for cutting the chapter short, I updated ealier explaing why I was absent, if you haven't already and want to then go read it. Sorry the chapter isn't quite like the others.
