This is my explanation...read if you would like to understand Noor a little-

Some key things to keep in mind when reading.

Noor is a soldier. That was why he was taken in as a General. The Alpha King stated Noor will only have one objective in his mind which is why the Alpha offered for him to be his General. There was nothing to distract him, not even his heart.

Hence, even though he admires Aella's skills he is going to follow orders. As his mind set is all order and rules no feelings involved and keep in mind he is currently not "in love" with Aella.

Some of you questioned why did she get so easily captured...shes an Alpha...

You have to understand that Noor is very skilled in fighting. Even in The Hunting Game he trained the pack warriors and he trained almost every morning in the gym by himself. (Remember the scene Christian and his little fight).

In addition, He has fought in the arena for a year or two without a losing battle. That right there, my friends, is a huge feat. Finally, he became a General which is a big thing.  Its a high status. He is not just any normal kind of Gamma wolf now. Even Lily mistaken him for an Alpha.

Aella might be an Alpha but he has become a General of the Alpha King which ultimately gives him more power.

Sorry for the long note but I felt I needed to clarify a few things...

As I entered the dungeon, the sound of males shouting back and forth and bodies hitting the walls made it to my ears. Instinct took over and I moved quickly to the sound. It didn't surprise me to see that it was the Beta that was causing the ruckus.

"You." His eyes narrowed on me as soon as he saw me.

"Yes, it's me." I replied almost in a chirp, just to piss him off more.

"I'm going to kill you." He launched himself at me with his fist. My right arm came out to block it as my left hand came up to hit him with the heel of my hand and then using my right hand I punched him in the ribs. He went backwards. His furious eyes found its way back to me.

"I wouldn't do it if I was you." I responded and then waved for two soldiers to hold him down. He struggled in their grasp before he gave up and glared at me.

"Now that you have settled I just wanted to clear up a few things." I said as I began pacing in front of him. "Beta Kane."

His eyes glint slightly and I knew I was right. I nodded and then continued pacing.

"Beta Kane, we are not here to hurt any of you. We have been ordered here to remove your Alpha and replace her with another Alpha who is capable of ruling under the law." I began.

"Alpha Aella is more than capable of ruling under your stupid laws." Beta Kane growled out.

I turned slightly to look at him. "I know she is more than capable, Beta Kane."

"Then why the hell are you here?" He asked.

"The law states that only male Alphas can rule and because it is the law it can't be broken. Your Alpha has committed a crime. She knew what the law stated yet she became Alpha. The Alpha King could order her instant death but instead he had turned his head away and asked us to come and contain it. We need a male Alpha to rule this pack." I moved to crouch in front of him. He growled and struggled out of my soldiers' grasp.

"You don't get it do you? We don't need a male Alpha. We are more than happy to follow Alpha Aella. The law can go to hell." Beta Kane gritted out.

I shook my head and clicked my tongue. "I understand where your loyalty lies, Beta. Loyalty is something I live by."

I am loyal to Alpha Titus and Luna Patience. I am loyal to the Alpha King and I was loyal to Lily. The thought of her or her name made my heart turn bitter and I glared at the Beta in front of me.

"I know loyalty really well. As you are loyal to Alpha Aella, I am loyal to many people as well. So I know how you feel but heed this, if I do not do what I am ordered to, the Alpha King will command the head of your Alpha." I threatened. It was the truth. I had persuaded the Alpha King to give me a chance to come see what I can do here.

Beta Kane's eyes flickered with emotions. He was conflicted. A part of him probably wanted to just kill all of us but he knew he wouldn't be able to and a part of him knew that we will be able to kill if we wanted to.

After a moment, his shoulders slumped slightly. "What is that you want from me?"

"I need your help and your trust. Your position and power will help in persuading your pack to find a new Alpha. I am not here to destroy you or your pack. I am here to help it move on even without Alpha Aella as your Alpha." I responded.

"I will do it but not because I agree with you. I am doing it because I don't want her dead." Beta Kane said.

I nodded. "Good choice. I do not want to have to kill her to."

"We can't just throw it on everyone. They will feel what I feel—we are betraying our Alpha." He said and I knew how hard it was on him and everyone. I nodded my agreement.

"That's fine. For now, inform them that we are harmless and are here to stay and review the pack operations."

My soldiers released him cautiously. Soon, he was walking around the dungeon with us as he helps us convince everyone we were harmless.

It wasn't until much later that I made it back to the pack house and up the stairs to her bedroom. The sound of voices arguing in the hallway brought me to quicken my pace. Once I got upon the scene I saw a small frail old lady carrying a tray of food, standing in front of Alpha Aella's door. My soldier was ordering her to go away.

"What is going on here?" I asked.

"I have brought food for my Alpha." She said as she looked me dead in the eye and her chin slightly rose. A smile came on my face as I realized she will not back down.

"I will give it to your Alpha." I put my hands out. She was hesitant as she glanced at my hands. "You can trust me that she will be fed and well."

She looked back up at me and after a moment she nodded and handed me the tray. She turned to my soldier and threw him a glare before walking away. I ordered my soldier to leave as I opened the bedroom door and entered.

When I entered the room was dark, I turned on the light switch before glancing at the bed. She was still lying in bed but was asleep. I walked up to the bed and sat the tray of food on the end table. She felt me as soon as I sat down on the bed.

"General." She said sleepily.

"Sorry I was gone all day. Your pack warriors were difficult. I had to kill some of them." I lied and her eyes flashed fury. She tried to sit up but because of the zip ties she couldn't.

"You didn't." She said.

"I did." I said.

"I'm going to kill you." She moved her hips closer to me as she struggled to escape. I laughed before shaking my head. She stopped moving to look at me.

Smiling, I spoke. "I'm kidding. They are fine. No one got hurt."

She exhaled in relief. I reached into my pocket and pulled up another zip tie. I zipped her wrist together before cutting off the old one. I pulled her up into a sitting position and brought her wrist back to the bed frame where I zipped again another zip tie to keep her hands to the bed. She glared at me as she on the edge of the bed.

"You have to eat. You must be hungry." I said as I pointed to the tray. She turned to look at it before turning to look at me.

"What?" I asked.

"I can't eat with my hands tied." She said as she took in her lower lip between her teeth shyly.

I fought the urge to do it to her. I nodded and moved closer to her. Our thighs touching as I pulled the tray onto my lap as I cut the steak into bite size pieces. Slowly, I dipped into the steak sauce and brought it to her lips. She opened her mouth immediately and as soon as she had it in she chewed as quickly before opening her mouth again. I grinned at her reaction and poked at another piece placing it back into her mouth.

When we got to the third piece, I pulled back as she leaned forward to get it inside of her mouth. She frowned as I pulled back.

"Say you are sorry you said vulgar things about me." I said a grin on my face.

She pursed her lips anger and shook her head. "Never."

"Do it, Alpha." I ordered.

"You can go to hell." She responded. I shook my head and popped her piece of steak into my mouth. She gasped as she saw me take her food.

"That's mine!" She demanded.

"Too bad. You don't deserve to eat." I replied. I poked at another piece before bringing it to my mouth again.

"Stop it!" She shouted as she tried to inch closer to me. I was really enjoying this. I couldn't help it. She was so funny and cute at the same time. I couldn't stop grinning.

I moved to poke another piece and brought it to my mouth but before I could place it in she spoke.

"Ok! Alright!" She started before whispering quietly. "I am sorry."

I dropped the fork on the plate and placed a hand behind my ear as I leaned closer to her. "I'm sorry what did you say?"

She huffed and moved closer to my ear where she screamed. "I am sorry!"

I flinched back as my ear drums were vibrating and aching from her scream. I rubbed away the ache before picking up the fork and bringing it to her mouth. She was smiling as she chewed and I couldn't stop myself from grinning.

She somehow makes me feel happy and I haven't smiled this much in years. She quickly finished her meal and when she was done she yawned. I stood up with the tray and promised her I will be back. I placed the tray in the kitchen before ordering a soldier to find me rope. When the soldier returned with the rope I jogged up the steps three at a time wanting to get back to Alpha Aella.

When I opened the door, she was leaning against the bed frame with a distant look. She turned when she heard me. I showed her what's in my hand and she shook her head.

"No."

"Yes." I smiled as I approached her. She scooted away from me and I moved to straddle her hips as I tied her hands up. Once done I released the zip ties and tied the end of the rope around my waist.

"What are you doing?" She asked.

"Tying the other end around my waist."

"I can see that but why?" She asked.

I plopped down next to her on the side and then sighed as I closed my eyes. She sat stiffly on the bed next to me.

"Since I can't trust you, I am sleeping next to you." I said simply. I opened my eyes back up to look at her and she was shaking her head.

"You will not be sleeping in my bed." She demanded.

"I'm tired, Aella. Please let me sleep." I murmured to her using her first name before closing my eyes again. She huffed and then adjusted herself so that she was lying next to me but far away. I can still smell her and feel her close by. I can also feel her eyes burning into my face.

"If you do anything stupid-"She started.

"Just go to sleep, Aella. I promise not to do anything stupid." I interrupted her. I heard her sigh but can still feel that she was as stiff as a pencil. I wonder where her mate was. All this time and I haven't even seen him. It was my last thought before I fell asleep.

I awoke later as I briefly glanced around the room to remember where I was. I turned slightly to see her sleeping soundly next to me. Her lips pouting. Her hands cradled under her head as she slept facing me. I turned so that I was facing her.

She was truly beautiful and after living in the royal court I have seen many kinds of beautiful but I have not seen this kind of beautiful. She was naturally beautiful. There was something about her that the females at the royal court can't compare to. My hand came out to caress her cheek and I heard her deeply sigh before snuggling closer to me. A smile slipped on my face.

Ah, so the fierce female Alpha, finds comfort in my touch.

I felt a sense of protectiveness and pleasure that she felt that way but I wasn't going to press and analyze those eemotions further. I allowed her body to move closer to mine as I closed my eyes to fall back asleep.
