If you haven't yet, I will recommend it but you don't have to as this book will not need you to finish the first.

Here is the first chapter of Noor's journey and I hope you enjoy! It is definitely different and I hope you will have a few chuckles/smiles along the way as you read along with me.

I stood thirty miles away from Alpha Aella's territory. My soldiers waited quietly beside me as we watched the sun began to rise from the horizon. In just a few minutes, we will be attacking a rogue territory that has established a hierarchy of some sort with a female as an Alpha. It was unheard of and the Alpha King has ordered it to be contained.

I haven't gone home for five years now. Alpha Titus had sent his warriors and my pack mates after me. They did eventually found me—in a fighting arena. I wanted to go home but a part of me was ashamed. I was mateless and unwanted. I was deceived and cheated. I didn't tell them that though. I relinquished my title as Gamma and told them I will not be returning. I knew this will hurt Alpha but I couldn't go back there.

My pack mates eventually went back home after spending a couple of days with me. It wasn't until a couple months later that the Alpha King approached me. He gave me a proposal. I could remember it like yesterday...

"Gamma Noor." Alpha King spoke as he sat across from me. His fingers propped up against each other as he watched me with a guarded look.

"I am no longer a Gamma. The title has been relinquished. I am just a normal werewolf now." I muttered as I leaned back in my chair.

He chuckled and shook his head, "That's right. You denied the chance to go back home."

"What is it that you want, Alpha King?" I grew tired of his indirect talk.

He regarded me for a moment before he sighed and sat his hands down on his lap. "Alright, let's get straight to the point. I have been watching you, Noor. I have seen your skills and experience. Although, I don't condone your reckless behavior, I do see potential in you. You put yourself in an underrated status but to me you are a valuable asset."

He paused for a moment as he made sure I took in what he just said. He wanted me to understand how important I was. I nearly scoffed at the idea. Whatever he has brewing in his mind, it can go to hell.

"I am in need of another General." He spoke after. "And I want you."

My eyes immediately moved to his to see if he was joking. When he didn't blink I laughed out loud, slapping my thigh.

"You got to be kidding me?" I asked.

"I am not." He said with a frown.

My smile slipped and I shook my head. "Why me?"

"Like I said, I need your skills and experience. You are perfect as my general." He replied.

"You have how many soldiers and out of all of them you came to me?" I asked with an exasperated tone. It was a little unbelievable.

"I need a man who knows what he is doing, a man with a one objective in their mind and a man with nothing to interfere with his mission." He responded simply and then waved his hand in the air. "Now, do you accept my offer?"

"No." I replied as I stood up and was about to leave. The sound of a palm hitting the table stopped me short. I turned to see the Alpha King's eyes dark with anger.

"Do not disrespect me, Noor. I am still the Alpha King. If I can't ask you, I will command you." He threatened.

I turned to face him fully. "So, the truth is, you aren't here to give me an offer, you are here to threatened me, forcing me into submission?"

The Alpha King's jaw ticked and his eyes grew darker in shades. His power radiated off him to show his dominance. My wolf whimpered slightly and my head tilted slightly to the side. I sighed and shook my head.

"You will obey me." He said lowly.

"And if I don't?" I boldly asked.

In an instant he had me up against the wall, squeezing my throat. "Then I will make sure you will be tortured until you are almost at the brink of death but not enough to kill you. You think you can disrespect me and get away with it? You will see just how bad I can get."

I wheezed and nodded my head in submission. He let go immediately and adjusted his cuff.

"Damn, you have a grip." I muttered as I rub my neck.

"And you have a death wish." He growled.

I grinned then. "I do but I know you know that. That's why you will only hurt me but not kill me."

He moved to place his hand behind his back and straightened his stance as he looked me straight in the eyes. "So what do you say?"

"We are moving in ten." I spoke. Everyone began getting ready and preparing to evade the territory. I have been in the royal court for over a year now and quickly earning respect from the soldiers as they saw me fight. During my time there, I have gotten letters and calls from Luna Patience. She wasn't too happy to receive the news that I will not be returning but she has openly told me that Alpha Titus and her land will be open for me, if I ever needed to seek sanctuary.

I signaled my hand and with ease we began moving in a run. Our pace matching each other and our plan firmly in place. When we reached the edge of the territory, we were surprised to see a line of werewolves firmly standing there. Their backs straight and their eyes staring straight ahead. I raised up my hand to halt my group as I watched was going on in front of me.

They knew.

A slow grin crawled on my face as I knew their Alpha is somewhere around here.

"Ah, I see you have decided to greet us even when we came uninvited." I murmured.

"Leave this territory, General. I am warning you. Step one foot on my land and I will rip your throat." A feminine voice spoke and something awoken inside of me. I was intrigued.

"Come on out, Alpha Aella." I casually spoke, a smile still on my face.

"What is it that you want, General?" She spoke again and my head turned slightly toward the sound. It was coming on top of the trees.

"To talk." I responded and heard a soft pleasant-sounding laugh before she spoke again.

"To talk and you brought an army. Tell me, what is it that you really want and I will make sure to not only send back your head to the Alpha King." She threatened. I was really intrigued now.

I placed my hands behind my back and began pacing back and forth as I looked up into the trees. Who was this brazen female? It was interesting to see that she openly threatened me without fear. Anyone that has come across me feared me.

"Very well." I said and threw my hands up. "Come on down from the trees, Alpha Aella, and in return I will tell you why I am here."

There was silence that followed before a swishing sound came in front of me and a female came down, landing on her feet. Her warriors opened up for her to walk through. I was instantly mesmerized. Her hair tied up into a high pony tail, her black tank top clinging onto her every curve. Even when she was wearing cargo pants, she still looked sexy.

She walked over to me, her eyes wary and never leaving me as she watched my every move. I smiled as she came closer. Her scent was wrapping around me like smoke.

"That is much better." I said.

Her jaw ticked and her eyes sharpened in rebelliousness. "Tell me. What is it that you are here for?"

I shrugged, "Would it be awful if I told you I came here just to visit?"

She growled and I saw her fist curling to her side. I smirked as I moved closer to her, leaning down so that I was eye level with her. "Cheer up, buttercup."

In an instant, her fist came out and straight at my left jaw. Immediately, I blocked the move and twisted her hand around to her back, pulling her back against my front. My other arm wrapped around her neck with my knife I was hiding. I applied a little pressure with my knife that I knew will leak a little blood.

Her warriors growled angrily. Her hands came up to hold onto my arm. I leaned down to whisper in her ear.

"Never let your guard down, whirlwind."

Pain shot through my foot and I realized she stomped on my foot. I gritted my teeth and tightened my arms around her.

"Let her go." A male voice came from the warrior. I turned to see a tall blonde male with a power aura around him that indicated he was suppose to be a Beta.

I smirked as I looked at him and then at her. "No. I think I will keep this pretty little female."

"I said let her go. I am warning you one last time, General. One more move and you will regret your decision." He warned quietly.

"Let me think about it." I pretended to ponder the decision before shaking my head. "Nope."

All of a sudden I heard a battle cry as we were swarmed from all sides. My soldiers moved quickly and began fighting them off. Their orders were to contain not kill and in order to do that we needed to hit them in the place that will knock them out cold.

Alpha Aella struggled harder to get out of my embrace but I tightened my grip as I leaned down to her ear so she can hear me. "Not so fast, whirlwind."

"Let me go, you asshole!" She growled out. She somehow managed to break from my embrace and in two seconds I was flat on my back. She moved to straddle my hips as she rose up her knife, ready to plunge at my heart.

"Well, I usually would prefer to get to know you first before doing this position but-"I quickly maneuvered her under me. "if you must."

"Get off me!" I was pinning her down with my body weight and her struggle was useless. My weight dominated hers but I didn't mind her struggles. She was soft, completely the opposite of me. I couldn't deny I enjoyed the feel of her under me.

"Now, now, be nice, whirlwind." I murmured as I lowered my head just so that my nose was almost touching hers.

Her breathing became shallow as she looked at me and for a moment we stared at each other, almost as if we were trapped and unable to break free from the trance before I blinked and my hand slipped behind her neck where I applied pressure to the spot I knew will knock her out. Her eyes slipped close and I looked up to see that my soldiers have contained most of Alpha Aella's warriors.

I stood up as I sling a knocked out Alpha Aella over my shoulder.

"This is enough! We are not here to kill. You will stop immediately or I will order my soldiers to kill every last one of you. All I ask is compliance."

"How do we know you aren't lying?"

"Yeah, how do we know you won't kill us the second you have the chance?"

I rolled my eyes. "If I wanted you dead, you all will be dead by now. Now, are you will to submit or do I have to kill you?"

Her warriors looked uncertain. The blonde male was struggling in to fight off a few of my soldiers but I saw that Major Nixon effectively came up behind and applied pressure to the back of his neck, also knocking the blonde male out cold.

The warriors were hesitant but they nodded. I nodded my satisfaction.

"You will be under my rule until further notice. Your Alpha has lost this fight and your Beta is down. Do not think to get sneaky with me, I do not like liars nor do I like cheats. I will kill you if I find out you are scheming. You will submit to me." I shouted. "Any questions?"

They shook their head as their face held defeat. I ordered my soldiers to put all the warriors including the Beta that were put out cold down in the dungeon as we headed into their territory.

Major Nixon walked up to me. "What are you going to do with the Alpha?"

I smirked. "Chain her in bed."
