(Side note I realised I haven't described Flora yet all you know is she is a person and things but you don't know what she looks like or what her personality is like either so here you go) A letter came  through the door for Adam and when he opened it he realised it was a poem from Flora and it read
"Roses are red
Violets are blue
You are crazy
But I still love you -Flora" and as Adam was reading this short poem it gave Adam a warm feeling inside so he went up to his room and pinned the letter to his wall and started to think about Flora with her long brown hair silky and smooth glistening in the sun and he thought about her blue eyes sparkling like mountain springs and then he thought about her being an introvert but still will happily go along with whatever Adam does and how even though their personalities were polar opposites they still loved each other so he wanted to do something before Friday because that is when he might not see Flora again unless he survives but sadly Adam did not have hope for himself, the universe, humanity or his love life.
