Squirrelpaw, Sandpaw and Spottedpaw had decided to look for more reborns in the other Clans. Cinderheart and Lionblaze stayed behind to cover them up. "Where should we go first?" asked Squirrelpaw impatiently, shuffling her paws with excitement at the thought of maybe finding Bramblestar and Leafpool.
"Calm down, Squirrelpaw." mewed Sandpaw, sounding exhausted. Squirrelpaw seemed to have unlimited energy. They had already walked quite far to meet up, but Squirrelpaw didn't show it. Sandpaw, on the other paw, did. "Maybe WindClan," Sandpaw mewed, answering Squirrelpaw's question at last, "we can work our way around. ShadowClan needs to be last though. I doubt they'll take a group of apprentices wandering on their territory uninvited well.". Squirrelpaw ignored her ominous tone.

The group had finally made it to the moor. The journey would have been a lot quicker without Squirrelpaw constantly asking questions. "Are we there yet?" "Who do you think we'll find?" "Isn't it weird how all our names begin with 'S'?". Sandpaw was getting rather fed up of the annoying apprentice, but didn't speak up. If she'd learned anything from Firestar's approach, it was that you don't complain. She'll just complain back, and then you'd have a fight on your paws.

Squirrelpaw ran ahead, and Sandpaw and Spottedpaw had to yowl for her to slow down. "We're nearly there!" she mewed excitedly. She was right too. They were near the WindClan camp.

The first cat they saw was a dark grey tom, about 10 moons, with troubled blue eyes. He was hunting, but clearly didn't have his heart in it. Squirrelpaw easily recognised him, just one look at his grumpy face told her this was Crowfeather, well...Crowpaw now probably. She was about to call him over when she heard a voice behind her. "What are you doing here?"
